PinkPanther Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 please say yes  ........someone.....anyone It works with numerous older games but not all. There is a list somewhere but can't remember where. I think in the readme to the enbseries file it has a list of known games it works with but that doesn't mean that is the only games it works with. +PureBlue Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 I see no performance gain at all in SF2E / XP. Quote
column5 Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 The date on this DLL is April 13, 2009 so it seems like its newer than the last one we played with. Quote
magic1104 Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 Under Vista x64 a performance boost! Thanks for it! Great work! Quote
MigBuster Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 No change for me - but good to see its getting something more out of dual cores with the latest cards Quote
SFP1Ace Posted June 30, 2009 Author Posted June 30, 2009 Hmm, so it seems like this dll only works for: 1. Vista/7 users 2. SF2 series ...Can anyone with a dualboot confirm that? Quote
+Brain32 Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 Make sure you have the LATEST files, I use this: http://speedskater.ru/download/arccvid/EMBserie_for_MSFS.rar Quote
+Sundowner Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 IIRC its also been used to simulate some kind of NVG effects too in FSX. Quote
Murphy'S Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 how can i get rid of this part of the effect? Quote
+331Killerbee Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 IIRC its also been used to simulate some kind of NVG effects too in FSX. Which reminds Me Ant., I've been running the HDR Bloom Plug-In for awhile. But since You turned Me on the FPS_Limiter 2.0, I run them both with no Problems. I get a steady FPS in the 40's-50's with smoothness. No Spikes. Thanks for turning Me on to it Sundowner. It works great. 331KillerBee Quote

+Dave Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 Well I just tried it and it seem to work just fine. Quote
+Laton Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 Same, about x2 frame rates with Windows 7 & First Eagles Quote

column5 Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 ps: no idea for my problem on the screenshots? Did you change anything in the enbseries.ini? Quote
Murphy'S Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 Did you change anything in the enbseries.ini? no i get it with the stock parameters i tried to disable motion blur but no joy Quote
Silverbolt Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 Did you change anything in the enbseries.ini? i didn't and i got the same results as him, however i'm using Windowns XP with no DX10 support Videocard. Quote
zmatt Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 I have the same issue. I didn't mess with the .ini at all. Quote
malibu43 Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 (edited) "Worked" for me on SF2 XP, but didn't result in a FPS increase at all, and the bloom didn't really work very well. (the shaded side of all the A-4's were nearly black, even when not silouetted directly against the sun). Of course, I'm running a craptastic intal GMA X3100 integrated card... Murphy'S Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 no win 7 and dx10 (but i got the dx9 dll in the game folder) Quote
FastCargo Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 I can verify it doubled my frame rates on Vista 32, Core Duo 2.4Ghz, NVidia 8600GT, SF2 series. Same exact single mission...literally all I did was place the .dll file in the directory to test. I had been using the enbseries for a while now too...enhanced some older games and I liked the mild bloom effect (tweaked it) that did a nice job simulating a hazy day flying (like Texas in the summer). But this is MONEY! Better looking AND faster... FC Quote
+Dave Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 I have never had a screen shot this smooth looking. Quote
Fubar512 Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 I have never had a screen shot this smooth looking. Post a screenie after you try my modded .ini files Quote
FastCargo Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 Hmmmm....just did a test on SF2V on the rig I just mentioned, same exact single mission (no randomness at all). 1. Stock - approx 15~18 FPS. 2. Enbseries old (DX9) - ~30 FPS. 3. Enbseries newest (DX10)(same settings as DX9 version) - ~34 FPS. Never noticed that the old series gave me a speed boost...and the newer one is even better and yet for you old users of it, you can make it look exactly the same but with the mild speed increase...
