Flyby PC 23 Posted December 4, 2009 Just heard Richard Todd died this morning. In the Longest Day, he played the CO of the Para's who landed their gliders beside the Orne River Bridge. Makes a change from today's actors, who would faint and go weak at the knees at the prospect of doing anything remotely dangerous or bellicose. It used to take real men to play real men...
