I wish I could try downloading the installer again, but with 4gb data allowance to spread until the 6th of June, I think I will have to wait till later for this one. I have all of the SF2 titles, I just played SF2I now and it works. Oh well.

I love Meteor. Stable, but roll rate is abysmal, I can spin Thud twice as fast (especially since the latest patches made planes much more quirky). Makes you work for a kill. :grin:

 

Mystere is fine. Evelator authority is too low for my taste but still quite maneuverable. Integrated into stock 6DW campaign as well.

 

Mustang... Greatest trouble is slowing it down for landing. I ended up making a 180° turn on one wheel.

Still uberpowered guns, killed Mig-15 with single lucky Hispano 20mm round in the aft fuselage. It catched engine fire and the opposing pilot bailed out, leaving the plane burning from the pipe to go up(?) until it stalled and swirled down to the ground.

If anyone is going to put a pit into Vampire, beware. Speed brake key on this one kills stability. Half-second of it enegaged and FB.9 goes down.

I just pointed to the P-51D cockpit file for the moment. We'll need a proper Spit cockpit when someone can get around to it.

my 'what if' ww2 vampire has a modded Spit pit for 1-jet usage.

 

Ordway's Mig-15 pit works just fine in SF2, so that's taken care of to making it flyable.
