I think Ravenclaw one of the reasons I like flying the Albatross is just the simplicity (even in the combat version), no bells and whistles, etc. Besides I've flown the Super Hornet quite a bit :smile:

how do you get the water map effect to stretch to the horizon, instead of stopping short?

The only way to do it, is to edit the shader in order to extend the distance that normal maps visible from the players POV. But, unless you edit the number of normal maps per water tile, you wind up with oversized, fake-looking waves.

 

This is what it I have it set to look like from 400 feet:
