I've got all the Janes stuff if it is useful?

De Havilland Hornet F.3

Hawker Typhoon (late version - four blade prop and bubble canopy)

Hawker Tempest V

Before anyone comments, I am aware that versions of the Typhoon and Tempest currently exist.

I'd be grateful for almost anything as long as the model is of high visual accuracy, and it has well-stepped, progressive LODs. Think of the aircraft Monty_CZ does, or the stock Spitfire, Mustang, etc, and you've got it. And let's have some light/medium two-engined jobs, not just fighters all the time! And cockpits...

T-28 Trojan

Soko J-20

EMB-312 Tucano

EMB 314 Super Tucano

OV-1 Mohawk

OV-10 Bronco (updated)

PA-48 Enforcer

I think the Super Tucano and about 4 different versions of the T-28 are available at the A-team site.

Personally? I'd like to see stuff I've had the time to make look good and work well in game. Unfortunately, having only got my grubbies on a copy of 3DSM last year, I just haven't had the time to make more than a simple box. :(

But then again, some of these would be nice. Especially the J7W Shinden.

I've also been wanting to make one of these:

but alas, having the time to do so is the killer.

Actually, I'd love to see a Supermarine S.6B... No real reason why, in a combat sim, but I'd just like to see one. At this rate, I'll end up doing FSX...

Posted

the S.6B would be good for the unfinished "Air Race" terrain. Unfortunately, with no multi-plaeyer in SF2.....

Yes, Light and Mediums will be needed

Havoc/Boston (at least 4/5 variants C/G/J)

Mitchells (B/C/D/J/H)

remember too, folks, it's not just ETO/MTO we have to think about ... there's all that wonderful stuff in The Pacific to shoot up!

Has anyone thought about trying to contact Wolf257, and see if he still has his max files? I'm sure our 3dGuys could cut the meshes to create moving control surfaces; this also keeps the dozens and dozens of skin/decal sets from having to be remade. (he also showed, once upon a time, a Spit and Hurri in the works....)

I'd also like to remind everyone (expecially the 3d Guys), that as far as I know -and of course, I'll have to ck with Major Lee on this, the "Great Gabby Autograph Giveaway" is active

What are you trying to do, turn me into an SF2 driver or something? If I gotta buy SF2 to get a hi-fi Thunderbolt, it's going to get ugly...

I must admit, I'd be glad to see a Thunderbolt - for the RAF in SEA, and as Messerschmitt-fodder in Europe and the Med! ;-)

how about for post war in the ANG and 86th FW capping the Airlift? at least some of us remember who won

More french aircraft is a great idea for the 39 to 40 era the Arsenal vg 33/39 is a really good looking fighter also the Potez-230 is another one

as far as bombers go the Amiot-350 to 354 would be good too.
