+Soulfreak Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 A Fairey Gannet and an HU-16 would be nice... Quote
Spinners Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 De Havilland Hornet F.3 Hawker Typhoon (late version - four blade prop and bubble canopy) Hawker Tempest V Before anyone comments, I am aware that versions of the Typhoon and Tempest currently exist. Quote
+Wrench Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 I'd also like to remind everyone (expecially the 3d Guys), that as far as I know -and of course, I'll have to ck with Major Lee on this, the "Great Gabby Autograph Giveaway" is active http://combatace.com/topic/58359-the-great-gabby-autograph-give-away/ Quote
ndicki Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 I'd be grateful for almost anything as long as the model is of high visual accuracy, and it has well-stepped, progressive LODs. Think of the aircraft Monty_CZ does, or the stock Spitfire, Mustang, etc, and you've got it. And let's have some light/medium two-engined jobs, not just fighters all the time! And cockpits... Quote

Personally? I'd like to see stuff I've had the time to make look good and work well in game. Unfortunately, having only got my grubbies on a copy of 3DSM last year, I just haven't had the time to make more than a simple box. :( But then again, some of these would be nice. Especially the J7W Shinden. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=llqoqei-k1Y I've also been wanting to make one of these: but alas, having the time to do so is the killer. Quote

+Heberth Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 what about this plane? maybe in one fighter version??? Quote
ndicki Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 Actually, I'd love to see a Supermarine S.6B... No real reason why, in a combat sim, but I'd just like to see one. At this rate, I'll end up doing FSX... Quote
+Wrench Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 the S.6B would be good for the unfinished "Air Race" terrain. Unfortunately, with no multi-plaeyer in SF2..... Yes, Light and Mediums will be needed Havoc/Boston (at least 4/5 variants C/G/J) Mitchells (B/C/D/J/H) remember too, folks, it's not just ETO/MTO we have to think about ... there's all that wonderful stuff in The Pacific to shoot up! ------------------------- Has anyone thought about trying to contact Wolf257, and see if he still has his max files? I'm sure our 3dGuys could cut the meshes to create moving control surfaces; this also keeps the dozens and dozens of skin/decal sets from having to be remade. (he also showed, once upon a time, a Spit and Hurri in the works....) wrench kevin stein Quote

If I gotta buy SF2 to get a hi-fi Thunderbolt, it's going to get ugly... Quote
ndicki Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 I must admit, I'd be glad to see a Thunderbolt - for the RAF in SEA, and as Messerschmitt-fodder in Europe and the Med! ;-) Quote
