Dave Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Hello friends Does anyone know how will be the installation of Strike Fighters 2 of the North Atlantic? Do you have a separate facility or installed in series 2 games you already have on your computer? I have all the series 2 games installed. regards You can merge them or install it by yourself. I am going to do both. Edit: I can't navigate the TW site. This could be it!!!!!!! Quote

PureBlue Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 What's the "Missile mode" = NORM display on the Tomcat cockpit? Would that be about Normal/Multiple lockon..? Quote
SkateZilla Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 (edited) the mode looks like "BOSITE", cant really make it out. Edit: BRST Edited February 29, 2012 by SkateZilla Quote
Monty CZ Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 might it be "BRST" ? really dont know :-( Monty CZ Quote
ToS Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 ... yepp, AFAIK BRST is the Boresight-Mode and has nothing to do with multiple targets the whole pit seems a bit *unfinished* to me - left and right waring lights on the front frames are missing (means no SAM, AI or EW warning as well as no indicator lights for Nose wheel steering and other systems)and it´s shure odd to shoot with the Master Arm switch in the OFF position (no ARM light either). But hey, the steering T and target range indicator look promising Quote
ArturR Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Strange, in A-7 pit pic ship is locked on hud but TV display seems to be unlocked... Quote
SkateZilla Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 everything is there according to MATS Quote
Stary Posted February 29, 2012 Author Posted February 29, 2012 (edited) Don't have a stroke....its nothing I almost had one would you be so kind to clear my screen? Edited February 29, 2012 by Stary Quote
ToS Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 everything is there according to MATS MATS yes, reality no e.g., notice the vertical sets of warning lights on both sides of the front shield frames (below the Stall warning lights).... especially the lack of the RWR lights is impratical Quote

Fubar512 Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 I get the impression, that if TK had set up a page-visit counter, and hosted third party ad banners on his site (for game hardware, etc), he'd have possibly made back all the money that he's invested into SF2NA, and would likely be turning a profit by now, before even selling one copy of it. bwild Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 After some digging I found that the extra lights on the left were added from BuNo 159002 (1974) and up, the lights on the right from BuNo 158978 (1973) and up. Quote

CrazyhorseB34 Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 It looks alot like a modded A-4 pit. Oh well, the ships are nice. Quote

Fubar512 Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 You mentioned that to me last night. Could you give me an example? He probably means that it appears to lack "depth", and that the canopy bows aren't up to the same level of detail and finish as some of TW's other pits. In short, it gives one the same impression as does an A-4 pit from SFP1, circa 2002. Quote
Stary Posted March 1, 2012 Author Posted March 1, 2012 (edited) naysayers I wonder if this is TK's way of beta testing. put up some pics, let everyone tear them apart and then make a few changes as needed ;) Funny, ain't? Ain't! edit: C'mon! It's 04:11 AM here, not funny, the waiting! edit no.2: makes me quite a fanboy, eh? Edited March 1, 2012 by Stary Quote
