Hi,

 

Some more skinning progress on Sophocle's F-5A.

 

 

The Norwegian F-5 fleet were all to receive a green upper colour scheme but as it turned out only two were so finished. One of the others here represent a repainted aircraft in the darker aluminium paint of the mid 70s to mid 80s. Last one is in weathered original paint scheme with the squadron codes and five digit tail no replaced by the last 3. Or rather, in this instance the last 4 digits of the serial. This aircraft was so painted due to the fact that a UH-1B had tail no 580.

Testflight over Israel, my general practise area for some soviet stuff. I try get some detail on the nozzles and not to kill to many frames. Seems it works :D

 

 

 

 

Btw, Matts is testing some new cool AB effects for those BIG engines

Man that was hard! I'm missing one vertical stab and elevator not to mention most avionics out, no wing leveler or auto pilot and damaged engines. She was pulling to the right to whole time and I had to manually fly it home, alt+n didn't work. Almost dodged that SA-9, almost.

As an old Fitter fan I'm waiting from so long time for the SU-20 (and I hope later all other variants) realise .  So only a question: are we next? Please say yes ....
