warthog64 Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 WOW! The F-15 is definitely not a good low altitude airplane, this must have been a bumpy ride for the pilot.
+russouk2004 Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 (edited) Same from the Loop in Mycynlleth In some vids of the LOOP Red Arrows put out smoke as they pass the camera guys they salute the camera guys ...nice touch from the RAF...others just wave and some wing wave on way out Edited February 11, 2015 by russouk2004 1

+Stratos Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 VEAO will create a Wales mach loop map for DCS. Now that would be really nice!
Milktrout Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 In DCS and most sims there are far more interesting places to do low-level flying. I dare any of you to take a Lightning or a TSR2 down the Grand Canyon in FS or X-Plane.
+CrazyhorseB34 Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 We already have it in SF2 in the Photo real British Isles terrain. Just need to know where it is............ 1
+Viper63a Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 I've seen the 111s fly the same route many times. Actually, F--15s are very good are low altitude terrain avoidance. Other than the vectored thrust of the 22, the 15 is still a top of the line jet, the last of the sheer beast mode jets. One of the guys back in the day had a video of his ride through the Grand Canyon in a 15....before they stopped all that...the video was awesome. The 15 was "in" the valley, flying the trench, doing the "Star Wars" thing...too bad we can't get a ride on them anymore or fly the trench....
