When He's quiet, The Ninja is Dangerous............

Wish it's true, but don't want to have my hopes too high.

It's just a Game.

No. Not just a game. Assasins Creed or FarCry are just a game

This? It's a cult title I spend last 10 years of my life with, so go with your blasphemy somewhere else infindel!!!

j/k KB

it's cool underrated game and better simulation engine than most grasp it is. In some areas it is even better than say FSX and DCS (yes you read that right)but of course sucks big time in some others

The graphics are pretty poor for a mobile game.

Ah, TK finally realized what era the engine he built is really good at depicting.

Tho it doesn't help that his epiphany is a few years late.

and an F-84

and a Panther

AND a Sabre!!!

shit, I'd give 20 bucks for it, even if they're a AI-only DLC. We've already got pits for them (of course, imagine the work to de-install all the ones we've already got, to remove the install conflicts....)

I agree, 335. SF2 is damn near the perfect environment for Korea.

thanks Stary!

I knew You were Stary...........

As for Me. If the Bottom fell out on the StrikeFighters Line on the Desktop side of the House, My Life is not going to come to and End.   Wishes and Wants are just that. Wishes and Wants.......

Does it mean I'll stop doing what I'm doing in this Sim?

By Stopping development, Does it make Me loose My Enjoyment for or within it?

Does it Mean I turn My Back on a Community of Excellent and Great Friends and Artist that have supported Me since 2002 thru "Thick and Thin"?

NO!        Without a Doubt. End of Story. Period.

Same here man!!! Same here!

though I'd love to have a bit more modern enigne and modder-friendly tools to work on areas I am good at (looking at you TODs and terrain meshes!)

The graphics are pretty poor for a mobile game.

I'm pretty sure he want this one to work on basically everything from say Mali-200 up...

One can only hope that all of the aircraft in the phone/tablet games were modeled to an SF2 level then stripped down to a lods used for these games...

Then TK could go for the cheap AI DLC money.

But, to be of immediate use to us, the flight models would need to be to a flyable level.

I wonder how much of the SF2 flight engine is used for these games?

If there is any doubt about which way TK is going, check out the new home page.

The ads and link for the store selling PC games are gone.

If you go to the download center, the old links still exist for now, but it will be interesting to see what happens over the next week.

Perhaps the PC games are finally being relegated to "obsolete" with minimal support from Third Wire.

Speaking of... should I grab First Eagles while it's still available in light of future WW2 builds? hmmm...

I sure wouldn't wait. Best to grab it now, "just in case"

one of the main reasons I uploaded ALL the SF2 patches to the d/l section. Where I come from CYA is a religion!

Given it's Unity I'd say 0.00 percent, looks or rather feels like one of those airplane starter kits from Unity Assets Store

And.. still $27 after all these years. Diverted to AI plane pack instead and gonna save up a bit!

He took too long for NA. SF2--2009, SF2NA--2012? Way too long.

The reason for TK's SF2 failure can be summed up in 2 letters: TK.

He does things his way even when they're not working. He heard what we wanted and came up with umpteen reasons why they couldn't be done. The removal of MP was a major mistake. The fact that MP for SF1 still works means he could've just kept it. It was damned limited but it worked.

Stratos, do you think about the game engine?

This could be a way if the official SF2 game development is dead eventually...

Of course I do. With PC games development stopped, I think is already time to start thinking in use this way.

Doesn't look very pro, unless pro today is the Win95 retro look.
