Stratos Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 Can someone recommend a good site to get my RGB values for camo schemes? Looking for South East Asia Cammo. Quote
+yakarov79 Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 We should have 'Combat Ace Color Standard' long ago. usually, am using hex values from this page -> https://www.e-paint.co.uk/Federal_standard_595_colour_chart.asp 1 Quote
Stratos Posted December 18, 2018 Author Posted December 18, 2018 Thanks for the link, and I agree with the part of 48 minutes ago, yakarov79 said: 'Combat Ace Color Standard' Maybe a small subforum? Quote
Nyghtfall Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 Another way is to look for a photo of good resolution without to much sun, pick the colors from there and adjust them here and there to get a good result. 2 Quote

Stratos Posted October 29, 2024 Author Posted October 29, 2024 Anyone know the RGB values for the Armee de l'air Jaguars? Quote
EricJ Posted October 29, 2024 Posted October 29, 2024 It's a good thing you're a moderator Stratos, as Wrench would chime in on "why are you necrothreading" lol 1 4 Quote
Stratos Posted October 29, 2024 Author Posted October 29, 2024 You're wright, but sometimes I feel worse creating new threads for old questions. Regarding the rgb, how I miss Don Color. Quote
+daddyairplanes Posted October 29, 2024 Posted October 29, 2024 (edited) as to the jaguars, find a decent photo and use the color picker in GIMP or PS, or better still a decal sheet or model instructions that will have the paint color on them. then google the RGB of those (ie RGB of Revell Dark Brown paint or Testors Brown 34xxx) of course adjusting final mix to your taste as to the other Kevin chiming in, moderator status might not protect Stratos Edited October 29, 2024 by daddyairplanes Quote

Regarding the rgb, how I miss Don Color. According to some people the images were off, but for one project I did for somebody he approved of it, so there's that. But I hate creating new topics because I have my own topic and feel it's better to ask there as somebody will see it. But as DA suggested, finding modeling sites and color profiles will work, or even some of the birds here as the scheme appears to be the same overall. Edited October 29, 2024 by EricJ Quote
Wrench Posted October 30, 2024 Posted October 30, 2024 Ok, why are you necrothreading Jordi!!!???? but serioulsy, didn't they use (basically) the same colors or near enough as the RAF? Both for the Euro 2-tone and maybe the desert 2-tone? 2 Quote
