+daddyairplanes Posted December 15, 2025 Posted December 15, 2025 (edited) July 4th, 1989: Soviet MiG-23 experiences engine failure on takeoff in Poland. the pilot ejects, only to have the aircraft right itself and continue flying. unfortuneatly, after flying across the DDR, FRG, Holland and into Belgium, it ran out of fuel and crashed into a house killing one occupant Edited December 15, 2025 by daddyairplanes 3
