  1. Well, you can flip it around. Do a basic install of WOI, patch it up, then move the core files (CATs, DLLs, EXEs,etc ) to your WOE install and overwrite (with exceptions). Do not move the ini files...you will proabably lose mods if you do that. Also, anything that is exclusive to WOV/WOE (F-100, F-105, etc) will be lost UNLESS you extract the particular files needed for that aircraft/object to it's respective folder. FastCargo
  2. Miracles, It's not that difficult to do that all on your own. There are threads here at CA that cover it. FastCargo
  3. Whatta mean? I have a 1993 campaign I built for WOE that works just fine.... FastCargo
  4. Won't quite work that way...I've tried. The missile will rotate, but when you fire it, it will fire in the direction dictated in the ini file...NOT in the rotated direction. FastCargo
  5. Hey Mike, If I wanted to use these tanks instead of the stock ones, do they have the same attach points? In other words, I just want to do a LOD substitution...that should work...right? FastCargo
  6. Actually, I wonder if that's a side effect of their better formation station keeping. I notice now that when I tell my wingmen to get into a close formation...they do it RIGHT NOW (which all good wingies do) even from fairly long distances. FastCargo
  7. Not my favorite, but Dick Jonas was doin' it long before Dos Gringos existed... I'm a Thud Pilot I love my plane It is my body I am its brain My Thunderchief loves me And I love her too But I get the creeps With only one seat And one engine too She's faster than lightning It says on her dials To get a Thud airborne Takes only two miles She's packed with transistors Black boxes, diodes But stay alert 'cause you might get hurt When she explodes She totes more bombs Than a B Seventeen My F One Oh Five Has a gun and she's mean But there is one thing That curdles my blood It's lonesome up there Alone in the air In my single seat Thud I love my Thud And she loves me too But she soaks up flak Like a magnet can do If I get my hundred And I'm still alive I'll have no grief Goodbye, Thunderchief My F One Oh Five FastCargo
  8. Nope...there is no .LOD exporter for any program other than 3ds max. FastCargo
  9. Gmax is free...and is closet in functionality (interface, etc) to 3ds max. Blender is an open source 3d program...Flying Toaster uses it to make excellent 3d models (Mirage Factory F-8, A-7, F-15s to name a few). FastCargo
  10. Kei nagase's skin skills ROCK! He should get credit for this screenshot... In final beta testing. Assuming nothing weird, I hope to have this one out before the end of the weekend. FastCargo
  11. Well, if you can afford it, yes. It's almost always more expensive (with insurance) to own a second car as a gas-sipper vs just using a single truck. Typically where you see such vehicles are cities with lots of agriculture industries around, lots of small business owners (trucks are EXTREMELY useful for that), etc. Where Vampyre took that picture for instance, that particular city I'd say trucks outnumber all other vehicles combined...but that particular city has a LOT of ranches, construction, etc. You wouldn't drive such a vehicle regularly in a city like New York, Boston, etc. Trucks are very useful at times...I couldn't live without mine for about 2 years after we moved. We found we were constantly using it for stuff where nothing else would work. FastCargo
  12. If MHT would get some longer layover's, I'd probably try to bid there more...I like it up there in the summer. FastCargo
  13. That's not on a fighter is it? That looks like a BUFF wing... FastCargo
  14. I used to have one of those in black. Over here it was called the Lexus SC300 which I had to order special because I wanted the stick. I really liked that car...and it was drop dead beautiful for all of the 1 minute it stayed clean after a good detailing. But I'll never buy a black car again...too high maintenance. I'd love another Lexus however...cars built like vaults and fantastic customer service. FastCargo
  15. C5, There is NO WAY I would own a car like your in Memphis...you're a brave man my friend. I drive an ugly truck...perfect vehicle for Memphis...especially if I need to go to 'ramming speed' because someone wants to cut me off to get me to stop and jack my wallet (yep, it's happened to a few of our pilots). 16. Phase 3 is payware, 1 and 2 are freeware. I get the feeling Phase 3 is everything. You don't live in Syracuse do ya? FastCargo
  17. NYC or NY in general? FastCargo

  19. The KB is a work in progress...but we have lives too ya know. I've already started cleaning up some sections...we're trying to find a balance between too many subforums and not having any. FastCargo
  20. Also, Paint.net seems to be a decent program...has a lot of features that Gimp has... FastCargo
  21. The simplest way is to rename the ModelName= parameter to a AIM-7 model (a .LOD file) that you know you have already. FastCargo
  22. Then you need to look VERY closely at the weapondata.ini entry for the particular sparrow you are trying to load. As an example: Note the entry in bold. You MUST find a cooresponding file in the Objects/Weapons directory...either of these two (for this example): AIM7E.INI or AIM7E.LOD If you find a cooresponding .LOD file but do NOT find a coorsponding .ini file, then there is another problem. On the other hand, if you find a .ini file, then you need to go into that .ini file and read the following (again, for this example): Those LOD files must be in either one of two places...in the Objects/Weapons directory or in the Objectdata.cat file located in the Objects directory. If the LODs named in either the Weapondata.ini or specific weapon .ini file is NOT in the Objects/Weapons directory or in the Objectdata.cat file, that is your problem right there. FastCargo
  23. And, can you fire the weapon and it works...just nothing appears except the contrail? FastCargo
