If you nuke, you also destroy your own forces and assets. The entire campaign is fought on friendly turf. That may be one reason. The Blues will win when Marine Reinforcements Arrive. They are far too tough for the Chinese Battlegroups to handle. The key is trying to prevent the Chinese to gain a foothold on Formosa in the first place. Destroying the ship that keeps firing rockets upon your ground forces is a good place to start.

The original Campaign is already fully naval compatible with multiple surface groups that provide arty support for troops on shore, hunt for each other and provide escort for Carriers while their planes are fully able to scout and engage ships.

1: The first one is a gameplay issue that appears if you quit a mission too close to the mission being completed - at least when I noticed. 2: I can live with that. Thanks for the feedback :)

The Draken is about 4x times more expensive to fly then the Gripen and the Viggen 3x so that is why they never got further invested upon.

Today is the 90th anniversary of the Swedish Air Force. It has been a long and hard road for the pilots, crew and officers from the humble beginnings to the cold war era when the Swedish Air Force was the 4th largest in the world. It has been an era of triumphs from the deployment of the J 29 Tunnan in Kongo to the lock-on of a SR-71 Blackbird by the JA 37 Viggen. It has also been an era of tragedy - the vigilance of the Air Force took a heavy toll on its pilots and crewmen, especially during the cold war years. They became the casualties we thankfully never had to endure in a real war. Even today, the Swedish Air Force is one to be respected despite diminished numbers and me and my team will strive to give you the best experience possible within the limitations of the game engine.
