I have no issues with the gun when flying Isreali F-4s, because I use the Isreali way of shooting down aircraft--3 to 6 seconds slight lead then spray.There have been times in SF2V that while in a Phantom I "sprayed and prayed" but I was really proficient knocking MiGs in a 'Sader. Of course watching Dogfights Seasons 1 and 2 helped me develop and implement the right tactics. Along with Ospreys Aircraft of the Aces Series.

Greetings! Thanks so much for your awesome work on this expansion back! I appreciate all the hard work your team has done to make this the most authentic & true-to-life version! I did have a question about drop tanks on the F-4 Phantom, especially naval versions. I can't seem to select tanks for any of the Phantoms that the Navy uses. Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!

As previous posters have said, always keep your fight in the vertical. I'm currently flying a F-4G Phantom II with VF-213 in SF2V with the expansion pack. As a serious student of the greatest men to mount heavyweight aircraft, their number 1 rule was: Speed is life. I've used zoom tactics and a high yo-yo to cut inside MiG-17s turns, then popped a 'winder off to finish the kill. (No gun on the Navy Phantoms). I would suggest watching the History Cahnnel's Dogfights for some tactics to use in combat. I've taken notes and implemented them in the sim and WOW what a difference!

After many many many LOOOOONG months (that honestly felt like YEARRRRSSSSS) I'm back in the cockpit using my new rig & new HOTAS! Here are my 1st shots! Still focused on re-learning how to fly, fight, and stay alive!

I disagree! Not a good idea! We are in dispute with China over territorial waters and now this?! Does he think he can buy China?! That's about as bad an idea as it is to give Iraq F-16s! Glad I didn't vote for Obama!

Great find! I always had a problem landing the Gunfighter on deck! And I think it's interesting when the Scooters land, the deck member running up to the leading edge and riding it while it taxis forward. Does anyone know why or what's he trying to do?
