still waiting for TK to provide some docuementation. i guess i'll go through the F-14A Data inis and fix issues with the Animations, Nose Steering and stuff. and if i can find the lod node name for the tow bar, adjust it's position so its only down when flaps are in takeoff position. -

i think this is a 3d node or UV Mapping issue. when asked if it was based off the Thirdwire LODs, he said "Yes it is". -

DisplayLimitRight=150 DisplayLimitBottom=150 Are the Values causing the offset, try increasing them to say 200/256? for both right and bottom? i dont rememberr if the value is offset from the right, or allowed distance from the left (ie 150 Px from the left side to the right, and 150 px from the top to the bottom), or opposite of that. -

F.O. has been in dev since before i graduated, and im about to have my 10 year reunion this summer, so.... -
Paramount had some copies made for members of the Production Crew, that was it, the "packages" that have instrumentals of songs by cheap trick or berlin are fake. his CD only had his work, and there's still a few tracks on my CD that still aren't out on the net I have 6 renditions of the Anthem w/ Different Names: Opening; Played during the Opening Credits New Mission; Played during the briefing of the mission at the end of the movie, similar to the Opening, but with more keyboards. Mission Accomplished (also on the net as "Film Version"), pretty much the same light percussion sequence and guitar only, no keyboards or bells, played During "remaining Migs are bugging out" Top Gun Anthem CD Single w/ Steve Stevens, The CD Version/Music Video Version. a Similar Slower Version forgot the title name, Played when he's throwing the Dog Tags and when he's told he made the front page, slower but similar to Mission Accomplished, but has some keyboards and the whistle (sounds like a clarinet or obo). and a Very Slow Version forgot the name off hand, played during the Duke Mitchell/Viper back story, mainly the clarinet/obo instrument with a little bit of keyboard, towards the end the percussion fades in a little. (I think someone tried to rip this from the movie, but the version i have is 2 minutes longer than the entire scene from the movie.

yeah, i have like 8 Top Gun Sound tracks, 1 of them is on Cassette, CD, and MiniDisc. then there's the expanded one (CD and MD), then the limited edition/special edition/anniversary edition/Expanded one (which wasnt really limited, but had the remixes, plus the Righteous brothers etc)(CD and MD), and there's the score one which **WAS** Limited to less then 75 copies produced, but i think its all over the net now. I have an official Harold Faltermeyer Top Gun Score CD, with Cert. of Authenticity from Paramount. Which did not include any tracks from any artists (Kenny Loggins, Cheap Trick, Berlin, etc.) only seen one "Package" that's correct, others have the audio ripped from the 5.1 DVD Channel Stream. Some of the scores ripped from the DVD Audio stream arent even H.F.s work, as he left the project.

vertice is not the same coordinates as the other meshes corner vertice, not a 3dSMax issue as something in the engine is tilting the entire tile., i've seen 2 or 3, but only when i run certain mods. -

AI doesn't see or recognize low light/night time, other than turning on his lights when you do. i've been asking TW/TK since WoV for lights on carriers, and we still dont have that ability..... -

shhh, dont get him started on posting his "internal SFP1 build" videos for everything here, we dont need any VTOL F-16 vids,. -
i just know that the tomcat and the naval aircraft have a parking animation id set, but to toggle it manually you'd have to set a Animation key System, and assign the same Animation ID as the parking animation ID thats already in the Data.INI. for the tomcats teh wings sweep back, other planes the wings fold and canopy open (not all canopies open). The animation is done in max so there's really no way to adjust it if its not a full 75 degrees.

im in on that, i can build and texture the ships. -
I think the wing sweep can be triggered by adding the Parking Animation ID# to an Animation Key, the front castor needs a model node assigned to it in the Data INI. (i think TK either overlooked this or left it like that on purpose) if no one has it done by time i get out of office tonite I'll extract the F-14 data inis and do it.
