The pylon_AIM9_L would need to be present on the actual F-5E model to use, so for now you need to use the same pylon name as the outer wing pylon. If it references a node name not present you get floating missiles.

I wouldn't sweat it, the F.1C pit is about 50k tris right now and there is no stuttering at all on my laptop. So 100k should still be ok. And yes, it looks awesome!

Gmax/ 3ds max is really quite intuitive once you get used to it, and there are loads of great tutorials on the net!

I'd reserve judgement on that until in-game testing, the game engine displays transparency a bit differently. That's looking right about done to my eyes btw, a superb accomplishment all in all!

Yep, that looks the money, extremely well done. Some nice ambient occlusion baked textures on that and you've got some kick-ass eye candy. Only downside is uvmapping all those little fiddly bits so all sides are mapped to make the AO look proper.. Oh how we suffer for the arts

Thanks to Paulo the F.1CE now has correct serials, here shown the F.1CE in Lizard camo and pre-upgrade loviz of Ala 14! That brings the Spanish AF to-do liveries down to two, the ex-Qatar EDA and the Blue camo EE of Ala462.

This aircraft has my knickers in a twist! Your cockpit work and Ravenclaw's otherwordly level of detail is what has made me really try to push the envelope on my projects! if this level of work keeps going we are really gonna give DCS a run for their money. Seeing as SF2 mods are free and all! edit: spelling...

Is your problem that once captured you cant fly from those fields or what? Once I had a problem with units not showing up, was the unit numbering that was screwed up. So check for syntax and typo errors too!

Have you noticed tho that when doing cruise missile attacks the Blinders for example allways fly with burners lit at altitude. Hardcoded behaviour? I really wish you could customize behaviour for AI strikers more to enhance their survivability..

Well, here's something for all you Spaniards, and also a lesson in colossal time managment failure (I made the conformal Chaff/Flare dispensers, realized I did not have any skin appropriate for that variant, spent something like 3 hours making the skins and new RWR parts + low viz stencils). Also shown is the new higher res inboard pylons. The decals are not by me and just temporary to have something. Cockpit is still some ways off because it is completely proprietary but the pre-upgrade Spanish F.1s should not be that far into the future. A cookie for whoever can find high res pics of the inboard missile pylons (the ones for the Matra Super 530s).

I can wouch for Starys darwin tileset, the best looking for SF2 so far in my opinion!

You can install your SF2 on your SSD and have your mod folder on your regular HDD! What you do is create your modded exe, and it will go to my documents saved games thirdwire folder. In your mod folder, open your options ini. THere you will see two file paths for the mod and the screenshots. Move everything except the options.ini to your regular HDD and make sure the path in your options.ini points to that new location.

I can try to squeeze in some pylon time for the Su-20 next week, finally on summer vacation but the missus will be working so I can have a couple of weekdays to myself before leaving for sunny Cyprus on the 29th. Unless ofcourse you were wanting/planning to do those Martin?
