if its not set to work in 3d model you cant.....check it in mues lod viewer to see if it has a texture for on\off...if so an ini edit will get it to work. -

Tried my method but...pit for this has no throttle movement so wont work...I can get it to show as animated nozzles but it is default on then off when you throttle up...lol weird...may as well leave it out or add as ab...will release as no ab I guess...unless I can do a pit with throttles later..nvm. just a thought...will a throttle added via fake mesh method be movable with a throttle cockpit entry ? -

AB texture only shows if enabled in data.in engine entry...with the ab entry you mentioned.....so effect will show.....if you want the effect ive pictured with NO afterburner entry and no in AB mode in the games info bott left..... this way does it...but only if modelled ,thats only stumbling block..... -

Looks good...some nice German Airfields for my BF109F`s to use.... -
I Wondered how to get ab effects with no AB... in model animated throttles...and burner mesh so it expands when throttles open....so no need for AB emitter as you know the U2 hasnt one...but it does light up at full throttle ive discovered at some sites about groom lake flights..... so tthis method enables it without the game knowing it with messages you dont need..

Yep will be decals...its the Geschwader Kommodore a\c -
Taken from Midland Publishing...Luftwaffe - Secret Projects- Fighters 1939-45....well worth checking out. Suprising how much was made under countries names like UK Russia and USA when most are from captured German projects etc...after 1944\5 and this is just tip of iceberg...no wonder project "paperclip " was so important. name but few Mig15 Vampire etc were created directly inspired from German plans etc....influenced at least.

you can never recreate the reactions of a human pilot....AI cannot cope with anything unexpected ..on the fly reactions are very hard to compute if at all...in a RL a\c ai v human my money on human every time.
-
Thing is on a pc yeah AI if programmed well is going to win ...but in RL it cannot forsee a human adversarys sudden change of mind or action...1v1 in RL human would win every time..
