  1. Thinking about this issue again, I remember to have observed it some time ago.. I think its somehow related to the moving pylon entries for the folding wing
  2. You can add the IFF contact entries to normal search mode too, its not just for TWS. I dont run the SH atm, would have to take a look into the files to give you a quick "add this and that" example for the particular mod, since I dont know what tga textures are included. ~ I DL the SH and check it out
  3. MaGaRCaN, ah no, my F-15 avionics enhancement , thats a APG-63 radar, already working on a further improved version of it. Current version doesnt have IFF ... but I think I will include IFF by default in the next release. ~
  4. In your screenshot, the target aspect is shown on the HUD ( the small triangle on top of the circle) and on the radar, the target has a small stick pointing in the direction of movement. There is no digital aspect readout though on HUD or radar, and thats correct afaik. For knowing who is who on the radar, all contacts show as rectangles initially, and after several sweeps the friendly aircraft contacts should change into a circle - but the radar mod shown in your picture isnt mine, so I dont know if that feature has been implemented. EDIT: Also, after the IFF function separated the contacts into friendly and enemy contacts, you can only select enemy contacts with your radar cursor. I have made a APG-65 for A/B model Hornets and have the IFF feature for both Search and TWS modes
  5. Yep, the vertical line of lights on the left edge of the radar housing, the lights indicate target height difference .. but theres no function for it in the game... Thats why I put in a radar antenna elevation marker like on the F-4 radars Closing range indicator will be similar to F-4 too, but using a different texture
  6. I made a more Cyrano Ibis look-alike radar, still fiddeling with it... Has the greenish and a orange radar bmp version, info varies and is generally hard to find on the early Cyrano I ... I have complete info on the Cyrano II and IV though so I will wrangle up something

  8. Making sure I dont miss anything .. but it happens.. @BeachAV8R Heres another small update for the AV8_Tank300, fixing the shadow for the right-hand tank ... Also further tweaked the shadow and lod distance values of the other weapons to bring them in line with stock SF2 weapons Complete set of GR7 weapon files, let overwrite if prompted ... Re: smoke effect, yes, SF2 series requires new shader entries in the material sections of the effects since ~ beginning 2010 or so, many mods made before that SF2 update are missing the shader entries or the whole material sections (mostly in avionics inis) ~ EDIT: change of name of the attachment HarrierGR7_Weapons_22Aug2011.zip
  9. OK... delete the AV8_Tank300R from the Weapons folder Then add the updated files, fixed and tweaked them a bit ... Let overwrite if promted or delete the other old stuff manually first. EDIT: outdated attachment deleted
  10. That GR.7 SF2 updat eis quite old, the other stores for it needd updates too.. didstance issues on the tanks and LIDS too, the tank need correct setup to show left and right side tanks, etc.. I post an updated TIALD with better sight picture and fixes for the other things here .. soon..
  11. The distance value is low too ... but the main prob is probably some ini snag somewhere .. Attached is the updated main ini with ShortName added and more lod entries .. which apparently gives better fps due to auto texture resizing at long distances ... so I heard ... HarrierGr7.zip
  12. No problem with the TIALD for me, DLed the Harrier, unpacked and moved the files. Attached are two updated ini files with the new shader entries added .. without them, you'll have a incomplete HUD and effects HarrierGr7_AVIONICS.zip AV-8EngineEffect.zip
  13. no idea when the LAU-42's for the Falcons came, but they are there now .. on F-4D's and certain E and the EJ
  14. Or MIIIC high altitude interceptor with SEPR rocket engine .. and no guns... a single Matra 530 missile only
  15. AIM-120 (AHM type) can still me set to lofted, so the changes in restricting missile data options seem to be intentional.. perhaps related to future additions .. Tomcat or so.

  17. Other new weapons beside the JL-100 are: AIM-7P (perhaps added already with a previous upate...) Matra530E IRM LAU-32A 7-shot rocket pod V3A (SAAF IRM 's ) V3B and the 500L Supersonic Tankd for the Mirage is back And the list in the Loadout menu now gives number and type of rockets info for the rocket pods The new weapon editor, I noticed that several options are now greyed out for specific weapon types, e.g for SAHM it now has only 3 options home on jam optical backup iff interrogator al other are greyed out now.... dont know if that is intentional or a bug... no more lofted AIM-7 etc. havent checke doptions for modded AHM (AIM-120) yet. ~

  20. lolol walking... perhaps with more fake gun entries which rotate the mesh up/down at a small angle.. to move the legs a bit .. will look funny for sure. but then.. its a MONSTER!!!!
