just breaking in here ... just curious as to HOW you can fire a radar guided missile from an aircraft that DON'T have an air intercept radar???? Without a human player in the Fitter's cockpit to "attempt' a lock and fire the IR missile, there's not real way to recreate the actual event. And as SF2 has no multiplayer... Sorry to put ice water on the idea, but there you have it. Editing the missile, hardpoints aren't gonna work no matter what.

View File SF2 TMF Mirage IIICZ (SAAF) by PCG Upgrade/Remod Pack SF2 TMF Mirage IIICZ (SAAF) by PCG Upgrade/Remod Pack 3/24/2024 -For SF2, Any and All-(Full 5 Merged Suggested) Found in the Archives! Didn't even know there WAS a TMF version! But here it is!!! :) This is a full upgrade/remod pack for The Mirage Factory's Dassault Mirage IIICZ by PCG as used by the South AFrican Air Force. Even though there is =NOT= a stock 3W Mirage IIICZ per se, this is set up and labeled to cause =NO= conflicts with any (other) Mirages available for the game (including the version built by Ludo M.54 from a stock 3W Mirage). Skins remain in their original bmp format. All necessary items are provided, weapons, pilots, seats, sounds, effects, and so forth (most weapons used ARE stock 3W items, with few exceptions). This is a "nationalized" single-user only aircraft. This aircraft is supplied with 3 skins: "NMF"- as originally delivered "Camo1" - Tan/Green (<1971) "Lo-Viz" - 2-tone Blue & Grey (~1982) All 16 CZs served with No.2 Squadron, “Flying Cheetahs”. All skins use the same 'pool' of 16 ID/serial numbers. As can be expected, the SF2 Date Switch (tm) is active, and the LoViz skin starts in 1982 (best guess! based upon Ludo's Mirage F1CZ_Late). Also, the Date Switch is used on the Loadout ini, as newer missiles become available. When in-game, on the Aircraft Selection Dropdown you'll see: Mirage IIICZ (TMF) So you can't mistake them for anything else but TMF Birds (tm). As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. All original readmes, when discoverable, are included. The 'Change Log' is, as always, in the Notes section below. As an Extra Added Bonus (tm), I've included a bunch of PDFs I found online, documenting the Development & History of the Mirage III & its variants in SAAF service. They are OUTSTANDING docs, and were the basis for some of the changes I've implemented here. Well worth the read! Happy Landings! Radar Delete & PhotoRecon Mod (RF-101A Voodoo)
Wrench replied to KiwiBiggles's topic in Mods & Skinning Discussion
Similiar to what I did with the U-2, in adding the (visual) drift sight in place of the radar screen (as it uses the 104's pit) Nicely done!!! -
You do know, of course, the 1st round is on YOU!!! Congrats Brother!!!

It wouldn't make any difference anyways; you're talking about 2 different aircraft with 2 different, individual folders. what resides in one, will not effect the other. Basic (SF) game mechanics

Even though there is =NOT= a stock 3W Mirage IIIEA, this is set up and labeled to cause NO conflicts with any (other) Mirages available for the game (including the Bandidos version). Skins remain in their original bmp format. All necessary items are provided, weapons, pilots, seats, sounds, effects, and so forth (most weapons used ARE stock 3W items, with few exceptions). These decals are the originals as issued in 2005. As can be expected, the SF2 Date Switch (tm) is active, and the LoViz skin starts in 1990. You know what, as I did the skin last night (thanks to Ant's templates), and the Ala12 badge and cross decal, I'm just gonna do it for myself. No sense in tossing out out a job half done! (at least I'll be able to post screenies on the next Phantom Phriday)

Well, hell! That explains why I couldn't find it!!! I was looking under F-4 Phantom skins directly, not for a C.12!!! Oh well. Looking over that mod, the only thing I can improve upon it, other than 'attaching' it to the F-4C, is using Sundowner skins, and redoing the numberlist to actually have the EdA number. Thanks for all the input folks!! Back to the Mirages!!!

While working on revamping Macelana's Mirage, I noticed we don't have a skin for the EdA F-4Cs. So, I wondering if their serials started with 00 or 01?? C.12-00 or C.12-01 thanks in advance!!! :)

SF2 TMF Mirage IIIEE (EDA) by Macelena Upgrade Pack (v.2)
Wrench replied to macelena's topic in File Announcements
SF2 TMF Mirage IIIEE (EDA) by Macelena Upgrade Pack (v.2) 3/18/2024 -For SF2, Any and All-(Full 5 Merged Suggested) This is an upgrade pack for The Mirage Factory's Dassault Mirage IIIEE as used by the Spanish Air Force (Ejército del Aire ). This is a 'tweeks pack' of the original mod by Macalena from 2009. Like the recent uploads of the other TMF Mirage IIIs, this one gets a fully remvamped (more) SF2 compatibale flight model, and several other minor and major tweeks. When in-game, on the Aircraft Selection Dropdown you'll see: Mirage IIIEE (TMF) So you can't mistake them for anything else but TMF Birds (tm). As there is no other IIIEE, I've not changed the folder and ini names like the others, in keeping with Mac's original upload. Other than the (included) drop tanks and R-530 missile, all weapons used are stock 3W items. As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. All original readmes, when discoverable, are included. The 'Change Log' is, as always, in the Notes section below. Please be advised, this is designed so it can be simply dropped over an existing install of this aircraft. Or if you don't have it, unzipped and installed as usual. This IS the complete mod, just with newer bits and stuff. Happy Landings! Wrench Kevin Stein For Oli and The Mirage Factory ========= --Change Logs: New, SF2 compliant FM New damage tgas Decals randomized Original decals 'refreshed' to prevent bleeding of figures (painted them all black!) Adjusted positions of wing national insignia roundels Repainted rivets & panel lines on rudder, repainted white background and St.Andrew's cross Repainted gunsight tgas to a brighter yellow for us old folks with bad eyes Included missing 1stGen cockpit bmp/skin maps Duplicated outer pylons for Rocket Pod use only Destroyed model assigned Updated effects statements to SF2 standard Hangar screen has the 'blackboard' added, to make text visible Loading screen 'filled in' missing sections, adjusted color balence Loadouts adjusted -

My suggestion, at this point, if for the the Uploader (tm), Lacasp, to remove remove all but the needed "parts" (the tiles, any inis required, TFD & HFD & TODs) and re-upload it. No terrain objects, no lods, extra bits, etc. Especially any 'permission only' items. Unless, of course, permission is obtained from the model/lod builder. Also, make sure a DETAILED informative readme with step-by-step install instructions are included. Right now, I'm going to leave it "as is", so this suggestion can be seen Simply put, for a re-tile, it's NOT necessary (or needed) to upload the entire terrain thank you

There's a whole series of these, the "what if these movie/tv/book vehicles were model kits. This one just came out today. I'm sure most of you will be familiar with most of them But MY favorite, is the airliner near the end . I would BUY this today if it was real. and I haven't built a model since the 1980s!!!! I reccomend watching the others, too. They're great fun!!
