It wouldn't make any difference anyways; you're talking about 2 different aircraft with 2 different, individual folders. what resides in one, will not effect the other. Basic (SF) game mechanics -
View File SF2 TMF Mirage IIIEA (FAA) Upgrade/Remod Pack SF2 TMF Mirage IIIEA (FAA) Upgrade/Remod Pack 3/14/2024 -For SF2, Any and All-(Full 5 Merged Suggested) This is a full upgrade/remod pack for The Mirage Factory's Dassault Mirage IIIEA as used by the Argentine Air Force (Fuerza Aérea Argentina). Even though there is =NOT= a stock 3W Mirage IIIEA, this is set up and labeled to cause NO conflicts with any (other) Mirages available for the game (including the Bandidos version). Skins remain in their original bmp format. All necessary items are provided, weapons, pilots, seats, sounds, effects, and so forth (most weapons used ARE stock 3W items, with few exceptions). This is a "nationalized" single-user only aircraft. This aircraft is supplied with 2 skins: Ar1 - 8th Air Brigade, Camo LoViz - Grupo 6 (LoViz Grey <1990) Both skins use the same 'pool' of 16 ID/serial numbers, although the Lo-Viz only carries it's number on the front nose gear door (probably not historically correct - simply done for playability). These decals are the originals as issued in 2005. As can be expected, the SF2 Date Switch (tm) is active, and the LoViz skin starts in 1990. When in-game, on the Aircraft Selection Dropdown you'll see: Mirage IIIEA (TMF) So you can't mistake them for anything else but TMF Birds (tm). As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. All original readmes, when discoverable, are included. The 'Change Log' is, as always, in the Notes section below. Happy Landings! Wrench Kevin Stein For Oli and The Mirage Factory Submitter Wrench Submitted 03/24/2024 Category Mirage 3

EdA Phantoms ...
Wrench replied to Wrench's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Mods & Skinning Discussion
You know what, as I did the skin last night (thanks to Ant's templates), and the Ala12 badge and cross decal, I'm just gonna do it for myself. No sense in tossing out out a job half done! (at least I'll be able to post screenies on the next Phantom Phriday) -
EdA Phantoms ...
Wrench replied to Wrench's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Mods & Skinning Discussion
Well, hell! That explains why I couldn't find it!!! I was looking under F-4 Phantom skins directly, not for a C.12!!! Oh well. Looking over that mod, the only thing I can improve upon it, other than 'attaching' it to the F-4C, is using Sundowner skins, and redoing the numberlist to actually have the EdA number. Thanks for all the input folks!! Back to the Mirages!!! -
SF2 TMF Mirage IIIEE (EDA) by Macelena Upgrade Pack (v.2) 3/18/2024 -For SF2, Any and All-(Full 5 Merged Suggested) This is an upgrade pack for The Mirage Factory's Dassault Mirage IIIEE as used by the Spanish Air Force (Ejército del Aire ). This is a 'tweeks pack' of the original mod by Macalena from 2009. Like the recent uploads of the other TMF Mirage IIIs, this one gets a fully remvamped (more) SF2 compatibale flight model, and several other minor and major tweeks. When in-game, on the Aircraft Selection Dropdown you'll see: Mirage IIIEE (TMF) So you can't mistake them for anything else but TMF Birds (tm). As there is no other IIIEE, I've not changed the folder and ini names like the others, in keeping with Mac's original upload. Other than the (included) drop tanks and R-530 missile, all weapons used are stock 3W items. As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. All original readmes, when discoverable, are included. The 'Change Log' is, as always, in the Notes section below. Please be advised, this is designed so it can be simply dropped over an existing install of this aircraft. Or if you don't have it, unzipped and installed as usual. This IS the complete mod, just with newer bits and stuff. Happy Landings! Wrench Kevin Stein For Oli and The Mirage Factory ========= --Change Logs: New, SF2 compliant FM New damage tgas Decals randomized Original decals 'refreshed' to prevent bleeding of figures (painted them all black!) Adjusted positions of wing national insignia roundels Repainted rivets & panel lines on rudder, repainted white background and St.Andrew's cross Repainted gunsight tgas to a brighter yellow for us old folks with bad eyes Included missing 1stGen cockpit bmp/skin maps Duplicated outer pylons for Rocket Pod use only Destroyed model assigned Updated effects statements to SF2 standard Hangar screen has the 'blackboard' added, to make text visible Loading screen 'filled in' missing sections, adjusted color balence Loadouts adjusted

My suggestion, at this point, if for the the Uploader (tm), Lacasp, to remove remove all but the needed "parts" (the tiles, any inis required, TFD & HFD & TODs) and re-upload it. No terrain objects, no lods, extra bits, etc. Especially any 'permission only' items. Unless, of course, permission is obtained from the model/lod builder. Also, make sure a DETAILED informative readme with step-by-step install instructions are included. Right now, I'm going to leave it "as is", so this suggestion can be seen Simply put, for a re-tile, it's NOT necessary (or needed) to upload the entire terrain thank you

There's a whole series of these, the "what if these movie/tv/book vehicles were model kits. This one just came out today. I'm sure most of you will be familiar with most of them But MY favorite, is the airliner near the end . I would BUY this today if it was real. and I haven't built a model since the 1980s!!!! I reccomend watching the others, too. They're great fun!!

wonder if he didn't duplicate the nodes somehow??? -
1st off, PLEASE!!!!! use standard formatting for you text. It's difficult to read when having to slide the text back and forth now... are you sure that's FastCargo's Mustang??? Because, it never required a 'fake pilot mod' for anything, secondly, that's not a skin it was issued with. I should know, of all people, as I'm the one that worked with FC on it, and released it. So, can you provide a link as to where this skin came from?? Cause it's not in the CA downloads (I even checked the RF-51/F-6). Belly landings are problematic, at best, in the SF series. Sometime you can, sometimes you can't. The game wasn't really built for it.

Yes, indeed I do!!! Working on the IIIEA, then the Nesher, Dagger, and the 5BA. Then the Kfir(s). Having some issues with the RPK-10 bomb carrying fuel tank for the 5BA, however. It won't load and wont' carry any bombs or I'm just missing "something easy" in the loadout ini and data ini descriptions for it

All necessary items are provided, weapons, pilots, seats, sounds, effects, and so forth (most weapons used ARE stock 3W items, excepting drop tanks). A new User List has also been created (see note about that in the "Notes" below). Almost all markings are decals, and Decal Randomization is TRUE. As you can see above, the SF2 Date Switch is in effect.
