Has anyone made a shiny golden skin for the Eagle or the Cat yet? Golden airframe, platinum pit, jewel nav lights, silver pylons... Paint scheme "Taxpayers' Nighmare".

Может LOD (3d модель) с глюком. Попробуй открыть базовый ini файл самолета (что-то типа F9F5.ini без дописок DATA и пр.) - там должен быть список LOD-ов с указаним максимальной дистанции, на которой они отрисовываются. Вроде можно заменить указание на файл в LOD 2 тем же, которое проставлено в LOD 1 (модель максимального качества). И тогда нормальная модель должна проявляться на большем расстоянии.
