  1. Just in from Laketrout195th....Soon to be released with SP9.2:
  2. Thought about offering Mcfly my space as well. However, Biohazcentral would work so much better. The message has been sent to McFly.
  3. McFlys departure will be a big blow to the USAF community. He has been the coordinator of so many talented people. His website, although it will remain active for some time, has been THEE source for all things related to such a great game. I've known McFly since day one of the website. His Contributions to the USAF community will be missed. I hope his future is filled with as much happiness as he's provided for those that love this game. Cheers! (Note SIG....Riding Off Into the Sunset)
  4. Sad news on the USAF front today. Tyler McFly of McFly's Hanger has announced that he is leaving the USAF scene to pursue a career in guitar-making. The site will stay online for the time being but he will be putting very little time into it at this point. I personally am sorry to see him go and wish him the best in his new passion. Here's his announcement:
  5. Nuff said. CHeers!
  6. Hey Dan, Does it look anything like this? hehe.... Excellent Work Dude. Can't wait to take that up and flirt with some Migs. There's a real F86-Sabre in the same colors on the field here in Indy...maybe I can get ya some pics.
  7. Check this link(Video): http://games.naturalpoint.com/sidebar/imag...ackIR_small.wmv It's an Infrared system that "looks" for a reflective "Dot" on the PC User. This dot can be placed on your headset, ball cap, forehead, etc.. While in use, it will pan your view of the game (much like a padlock view) to whever your head moves. Thus, if you look at the bottom left-hand corner of your monitor, the game will pan to that location in the cockpit, or outside the cockpit depending on your current game view. It's a great method to keep SA at maximum.
  8. more complicated....heck...instead of IFR...it's IFOR (I FOLLOW OIL RIGS) hehe Cheers! Fates
  9. When you gonna 3DMax the Garage?
  10. Gotta give Credit to DanW and Zur for this great model for SFP1! Check out the site for the F-86 as well as a few other screenshots at http://geocities.com/dczurawski/p1f86f.htm Let me know what ya think...should I continue?
  11. Quite a while back I brought up the idear of having a screenshot contest of various flight sims. Send me your screenshots and I'll make calendars. I'm currently getting my calenders (wallpaper) from www.historicwings.com They make 3 sizes (640x480)(800x600)(1024x768) in which I would do the same. I love this months pic of the Lear25D. I've worked on Lears for 7 years now..and I've got one in my shop that I work on every day. Heres mine: I'll find a nice shot for a few of the sims and get some calanders out immediatly....Cheers!
  12. Time for a new machine Weasy... Here's some advice handed to me by BeerODB: Better to beg forgivness, then to ask for permission! My wife wasn't happy....but sometimes I think she uses my system more then I do
  13. Here's the original thread....the Thanks goes to 195th_Vang....He's has a couple of link for you to get it http://forum.biohazcentral.com/viewtopic.p...ghlight=ip+beta Cheers!
  14. I agree MJ....some images are just huge! Shrunk this one down for us. Anyway, Great stuff Cylix!!!
  15. Sweet....and it's the convertible version....WOW
  16. Makes me sorta miss the days I spent programming in Turbo Pascal or Vax Basic.... Back when C was new to everyone...or better yet...Does anyone remember CPM Machines before there was DOS 1.0? Maybe I'm leading everyone to my age...hehe...I'm sure MJ knows
  17. The latest news today is the fact that a US Senator will be introducing legislation that will pull US participation of the Paris Airshow. Currently the US comprises 40% of the contributors to the Airshow. The Legislation will also block any French Aid (in the form of French Business that would profit in any way) from assiting Iraq in any rebuilding process.
  18. Funny you should mention that....The LOMAC site did a survey once to see what players wanted more....Better Simulation...or Better Multiplayer? It completely amazes me that more people opt for the simulation of RL events rather then MP...according to their poll. So the question is, can we use that poll to say; "We'd rather be bombed and feel the earth shake, then to attempt to experience those things in Real-Life over a computer game"? Basically....more people would rather watch a live concert at an outdoor venue then watch a live concert being aired on TV. IMHO
  19. There are thousands of troops around the world defending her right to disagree
  20. ...do you have missles and bombs on the same pylon?
  21. How many cockpits have been made for this game now? Actually, I agree with some of Seawolfs recommendations, but to be honest, I think it's already considered "Hardcore". Not too many flight sims out there to begin with, and if you had to lump then all together into "Softcore v Hardcore", maybe I'm missing it, but SFP1 is not the sim for Crimson Sky pilots...(No offense Trashman). This is a "Hardcore SIM" with the emphasis on both words. Maybe there isn't all the plugins that people may like...maybe the avionics aren't what you hoped...maybe the flight models aren't perfect compared to your 10,000 plus logged flight hours in the real F4...but where else can you find a game that's as mod friendly as this one? What type of Flight Simmer do you think enjoys the accuracy of a game that states: "If you don't think it's hardcore enough...well just make it harder". I think everyone expects LOMAC to be "Hardcore". Maybe it will be and maybe it won't. People are bound to gripe about the fact that the FM's aren't as accurate, or the _____ doesn't do ______. Well, I say, is the game "Hardcore" enough to change it? As much as I wanted to post some of my Personal Comments to the "Enough of MP BS" thread earlier, I think that this thread actually may blossom to give some better answers. This sim is HARDCORE because it has the ability to allow everyone who buys it to insert their 2 cents. They can change it....add to it....edit it....and eventually make it as Hardcore as they prefer. The question isn't "What would make this a hardcore sim?".... The question is "Who will make this a hardcore sim" The answer is "all of us." Supporters like Denzil, Armourdave, Gecko, Column5, Pako, LVP, DanW, Tk, etc, etc, etc,. Together we will work as one....to me....that is what makes this sim hardcore. Cheers
  22. Is it getting hot in here or is it just me?
  23. Get used to the teasers and eyeball candy....there's alot more to come. There's also alot of dissapointment over the lack of DC (Dynamic Campaign) generator that will not come with LOMAC as many had hoped. Not to Dis this new Sim any....It's been said by Matt Wagner himself that the videos are truely WYSIWYG. It's an Incredibly Real Sim. Those guys over at the UBI forum are taking a real bashing, and I feel sorry for the team working on this project. Anyway....as Stormin Norman would say..... "IT WILL BE OUT WHEN IT"S OUT" And I will be there to buy it....Cheers
  24. I like this one:
  25. I can't wait to see it either. I've always been more of an a2a dogfighter since past sims have not hat breathtakingly realistic scenery. I'm chomping at the bit waiting for this sim to hit the shelves. I hope that online MP is everything it should be. :D Hey Dice, do we now if #2 in that video was AI or Matt W.? My Guess is that now Matt's got IL2FB to Gold, he's got some time to blow a few things up before getting back to Lomac business...hehe Cheers!
