  1. FYI guys I have used this format for 5 years now. Always works. The "D" is the folder where the decals are, which are in the skin folder of the plane. FilenameFormat=C-130J/MDANG/D/usaf

  6. That is the great place FC. Sometimes I wish I could break my computer into 1000's of pieces.
  7. Well, the other day the USAF B1-RD's had to break up a fight between Navy Gu-11's and the Canadian GEE-SE's. It got ugly. I got Col Thorsness and a bunch of other AF MOH winners autographs when we had the USAF MOH monument ceremony back in 1996. I was one of thier escorts. I was like a kid in candy store with all these pilots around telling thier stories. It was great.
  8. Red Dawn? Michigan? Me thinks you have your geography messed up. If you are making a reference to the movie, it didn't take place in Michigan.
  9. Hey Mannie Happy Birthday...

  13. These 2 lists are total losses of subs between the US and Russia after WWII. С-117 (1952) М-200 Месть (Mest) (1956) М-256 (1957) К-19 (1961) Б-37 (1962) К-3 (1962) К-129 (1968) С-80 (1969) К-8 (1970) К-56 (1973) С-178 (1981) К-429 (1983) К-131 (1984) К-219 (1986) К-278 Комсомолец (Komsomolets) (1989) К-141 Курск (Kursk) (2000) К-159 (2003) Almost 600 dead since the end of WWII until now. Compared the to the US. USS Cochino (SS-345) (6 - one from Cochino 6 from Tusk during rescue) USS Scorpion (SSN-589) (99) USS Stickleback (SS-415) (0) USS Thresher (SSN-593) (129) That speaks volumes about safety.
  14. I am not disputing that fact. The fact remains if the Russians would improve their safety practices, these incidents are less likey to occur. Things happen, yes, but when they happen often, you need to start looking at what you are doing and how do it better. Then you wouldn't have to answer the questions of the loved ones on why is this happening....again.
  15. No one is blaming the Russians Gepard, but you have to admit, they have a more accident prone military. It is a well documented fact.

  21. I take it there was no more contact after that?
  22. I forgot a couple. Those B-1RD's are the new Canadian GEE-SE's.
  23. More stuff, sorry about the graininess. Had the wrong setting on the camera.
