  1. Oh in the early 80's when my dad was at 6 ATAF in Izmir, Turkey yeah lots of stuff going on. I got stories.
  2. FLT Have you looked in the Knowledge Base? We have a fix for that kind of stuff....not trying top bust your balls, but we made it for a reason.
  3. I think adding the Soviets would be the right idea. I mean all those years of support and finally they get fed up and get directly involved. Using the excuse that the US is involved too.
  4. Drop me a PM.
  5. Only your wingman will attack your designated target, after you tell him to attack it you can switch to another target. The rest of your fight will attack any ground targets near you but you can't tell them what to hit like you can with your wing man. If your planes are armed for A2G and you tell them to go after enemy planes, yes they will dump their ordinance.
  6. No doubt the SU-27 series and beyond are excellent fighters. It just makes my head hurt when I see a lack of attention to detail on a well known photograph.
  7. After seeing that edited pic (again) , I think this really brings to light the ignorance of the author of that article. I wonder how much he got paid by Sukoi for that piece?
  8. Now that I can sink my teeth into......with the F-8B coming out soon and a stick it with a carrier battle group....oh yeah. http://www.acig.org/artman/publish/article_259.shtml However ole Tom Cooper seems to have gotten the wrong F-8 in his article. That model is a C and they didn't enter service until 1959.
  9. Rover Check the Knowledge Base it tells you what to do for that problem. http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showtopic=12210
  10. The firing mechanism is dangerous. Very dangerous.

    SHACK!

6-500 LBS JDAMS were dropped by a B-1B to take out that Al Queda torture facility the US Army found in Iraq. And as you can see, it did too. This total destruction brought to you by the US Air Force...."Do you really want to f*** with us?"

  15. Put them in your system folder and try to run them from there. Also if that doesn't work, re download them, unzip then and try to run them from the unzipped folder.
  16. That was a mistake and I am re uploading it with the corrections.
  17. No it is not a K2000.
  18. My friend, you complete this and your praises will be sung in the annals of 3rd Wire history. I can't think of anything else we woudl need it to do than what you have proposed. SO GO MAN GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. Ah outstanding. I didn't know that.
  20. Chuck Norris is going to kick your ass for misspelling his name.
  21. Here are the rules: You have to make your own up, none can come from here: http://www.chucknorrisfacts.com/ Violations will get you a roundhouse in the face by.............. Chuck Norris.....and you'll like it. Here is mine that I haven't found anywhere. Around the World in 80's Days is the true story on how it took 80 Days for the Earth to get around Chuck Norris.
  22. Now that I think of it, this would be good here. http://www.airliners.net/photo/Libya---Air...ules/0731452/L/ Before the 1977 skirmish with Egypt they didn't have the green markings as we see in WOI. They had the ones that looked like the ones in the pic of that C-130. Also found this article claiming the same thing. So are the Mirage 5D markings wrong for the 1973 war? Just something I found accidently doing some research on the Mirage 5D. http://www.acig.org/artman/publish/article_353.shtml Look at some of the markings on these pics in this article. http://www.acig.org/artman/publish/article_355.shtml Thoughts, and I am not rivot counting either, just something I found researching the 5D's armament.
  23. Who wants a mustache ride?
  24. Oops fixed my typo.
