I'm not big on the squid stuff, ;) , but I am really diggin' this A-5b. Darned beautiful model, and hella fun to drive through the sky! The version I have doesn't even have a readme.txt, so I don't know who to thank. It is an excellent bombing platform...

That would be an "E" model F-15. It has 2 seats and superior strike capability. Gramps and crew are toiling away to get it to us, and I can't wait. If they were to create an add-on jet or two to Lock On, a MudHen would be high on my list! B)

I, for some reason, have been pining for a little prop action in anticipation of the Western Add-on upcoming for FB. WW2F might just fit the bill. Remember that CD I brought down to your job that one day, MJ, ol' buddy, ol' pal? :)

The loss was mine, but only noted in the pilot record. The debrief didn't even say that a jet was lost/damaged, as it usually does when that event occurs. Something is toting up a loss in the pilot record, but whatever is passing that parameter is lost on me...

Well, I just discovered, by looking at my pilot record, that I lost a 5th airframe. I wish I had looked at the debrief log, as I had no idea I was even hit. No AAA got me, nor did and A-to-A. I did get screenies of us egressing the area, and see no holing anywhere. The only thing that came close was my own Mk. 84 2000-lb'er that I laid down on a bunker at about 400 ft. Engine hit? There was no smoking...

Now THIS project looks very promising! Is it Spring yet? ;)

I don't know if the creator wanders by here, but I really like the Isreali campaign I just found earlier today. It was from a link I cannot currently get to on SimHQ. It fires up, and runs some really kick butt missions, but as soon as I exit it, and it tries to go to the debrief screen, PUNT, crash to desktop, I tried it 3 different times, same each. All three were very cool missions, 1st 2 were successful, the last was purposefully a fail by going gunzo at a AAA site. It didn't make a difference. I checked the directories, none are read-only. Is there something generic that would cause this type of thing to happen? ___Edit___ Great. I cannot edit the topic title. "Staus" looks pretty retarded, eh?

Just don't tell him it was from me, I pestered him enough during the beta. ;) I actually just got another single hit from a ZPU-2, but did NOT get it recorded as a shoot down. On neither case did I see a pockmark on the jet, so don't know where it was hit either time. I only saw the green tracers, and the listing in the debrief. Still think that if it's chewed up, but landed, loss of airframe should not be given...

I've been doing a lot of single missions with all the cool new add-on jets, and the good old F-4, and have noticed a new thing in Patch 2. I have been shot down, according to my new pilot record, 4 times! Never have punched out. I discovered it when I only had 2, and then had a Phantom mission where I got shot up pretty good, but made it back home. The fourth was when I flew into the area of a .50 cal, and a single hit was recorded in the debrief. They're gonna right off the whole airframe for a dented panel?

Is the F-5 0.6 still available anywhere? I don't see a link anywhere on Digital Overload's site. Nor is it on the D/L area here at BioHaz. I could go rummage on SimHQ, but prefer not to...

I wish you had been on the beta team for Lock On, ShadowCat. It would have been another voice of reason for the holding off of it's demo. Needless to say, I agree with your statement whole-heartedly...

Yes it is. If you are using the in-game keymapping software. I don't use the Saitek thingmie, but a clear out of all defaults, then assignment of your own should do well, as it did for me. I forget the name of the snaps vs. scrolls, but a bit of trial and error got mine where I wanted them...

I usually stick with what the skinmakers plug in, they haven't steered me wrong yet. :D The brushed aluminum and all metals look good with a higher gloss, whereas the camos seem to look better with a lower value...
