I agree with the Mighty USAFmtl on the list he has provided as to keeping score on what you have left on the Racks no there is no easy one to that some jets have it others you have to keep track... adds to the fun is there a winder left etc... and welcome

As the wondrous people here have recreated that leg-end that never saw service, like it should have done, the TSR-2. It got me to thinking what would the RAF have ended up with instead of the Tornado F-3 as the Tornado program would never have arrived ??? I know that the RAF tested out the F-14 Tomcat which used to do the same job... The F-15 didn't have the 2 man crew that was required. Doesn't leave a right lot to go at really as the F-4 was getting old... The French had no jet capable of doing the long overwater mission that the F-3 was designed for... Anyone got any thoughts on this ???

Its new to me and its a very good video at explaining the Rotary and its issues... I understand inline engines V-twin etc Engines but never understood how a Rotary was different in the control of an Airplane... Dont get many Rotary engines on Motorbikes

The F-4J in UK service was modified as little as possible to save money... basically Skyflash capability and that was about it... also they could carry and did the podded M-61 cannon SUU-23 I think...

Does anyone get the feeling that this months theme was SPEED!!! I feel the need the need for SPEED!!! okay aint original but where this jet goes its correct just remember folks NO DOGFIGHTING with this bird... The F-4 has the turn radius of a Small Country this one it will be easier to just fly round the world... I am still not sure that the YF-12 SR-71 series could be classed as pretty.. Graceful maybe but not pretty... but this is looking good...

Well I have never had a car so it will have to be one of my Motorbikes... 1997 Kawasaki ZX-6R F3 Took one out for a test ride and within 5 minutes I knew... Purchased brand new... did 24000miles in less than 18 months went to the south of France for a long weekend 4 days 1 day to get there 2 days of fun 1 day to get back and in work the following day all I had was a rucksack with a change of clothes and a credit card... did track days on her every Sunday she went out even when the weather wasn't looking great. She started everytime I hit the ignition without fail slid down the road with her twice and got her rebuilt both times. I had a Ducati 748 in the garage as well but not as much fun... in fact I loved that ZX-6R so much I bought 2!!!

In my humble opinion I think we shouldn't have it as the pilots of the day didn't have it. To me it makes it more interesting when diving away from an enemy aircraft as you have to think like a pilot back then having to be aware of your speed in the dive... but hey thats me... Though I may have got the wrong end of the stick on this one though...
