  1. PR7 58 squadron : It's the BI8 skin with edits here and there.
  2. Bon anniversaire!!!
  3. ...and you know what they say, you never forget your first xD
  4. Not easy but at least it worked (funny thing is I chose this one because the Suez yellow/black stripes were painted over the serial numbers...) I'm trying to make a PR7 (with the B6 LOD) the same way Paulopanz did the Hunter FR10 : First decal ever!
  5. The PR3 had 542 UK gal more than the B2 in the fuselage and the PR7 is a PR3 with the engines and the internal wing tanks of the B6 :) Edit : the little antenna ahead of the bay doors is Antena-03 Is there somewhere a free downloadable software that is capable to save tgas to use them as decals? I tried Gimp and Paint.net but the version I had didn't save multi layer tga (someting like that) It's for serial numbers (or there won't be serial number or they will be wrong)
  6. Yeah those are helpful when answers bring even more questions... I'm editing the B2 first I found 1892 UK gal in the fuselage for the B2 (14550lbs) and 450 UK gal added in each wing for the B6 (21470lbs)
  7. Thank you for the link
  8. Hi :) I'm editing the Ajunaidr's Canberra MkI8. Mainly the F-86 Zurawski's Pit with some textures from the Mk2 pit by Kesselbrut. Thanks guys! So far, it gives that : Should I remove the mirror? Any suggestion? Go ahead
  9. Thanks for sharing
  10. Conversion... Thank you
  11. Sure, ethanol and methane are cheaper and available in greater quantity than jet fuel and avgas. But take off rolling distance is longer. (the longer the better )
  12. ...it smells jet fuel and avgas.
  13. The stock ThirdWire planes have the same behaviour with the rudder (F-4 if I remember correctly) Try this (hard mode) : [Rudder] Cldc=-0.0170
  14. Hi guys, here's my 2 cents if you don't mind. 1) The behaviour is different if you fly it on hard or normal mode. 2) If it rolls too quick it's better to leave the wings as they are and edit the ailerons : [LeftAileron] MaxDeflection= MinDeflection=- ControlRate= [RightAileron] MaxDeflection= MinDeflection=- ControlRate= That's what I'd do...
  15. With ianh755's clue, and after a quick look in the VietnamSEA_target.ini, I'd say : Uong Bi Thermal Power Plant
  16. It's in Vietnam :)
  17. Thank you very much Raven, you're the man Very valuable
  18. Ok I'll search for the Wolf's D-30 Thank you!
  19. Hello Maybe some of you did this before, as it is an old cockpit. It's the P-51 pit and I'd like to know if you already found out the mesh names of the needles in the red circles. Maybe some tips about fixing the slip ball and the 10 000 ft counter? (red arrows) I found the "suction_needle" :) But "manifold_needle", "fuelflow_needle" are no-go... Thanks
  20. Thank you I'll take that 2 blades prop weight as a start. It's to estimate the "mass fraction" of the nose (propeller + engine + oil tank + miscellaneous) I found that the Allison V12 was something like 630 kg / 1385 lbs, but 250 lbs for a 4 blades propeller seems too much light...
  21. Or... does someone have a guess? 250 lbs ? more / less?
  22. Hi guys :) Does anybody know the weight of an Aeroproduct A-542 propeller? (Allison powered Mustang)
  23. Well... The action takes place in 1947. I was assigned to secret flights over enemy lines to test some new material (and I can't reveal the details ) My home base was Shelikhovo, south to the Kamchatka peninsula. This day, the mission was to make a deep recon with a two ships flight. I didn't know who was my wingman and his RIO, and I never will... In fact my own RIO and I didn't really know each other, but the task was simple and we were both ready. We took-off and soon headed north following our flight plan. As we were flying over the moutains I decided to take some heigth, just in case. We crossed the path of enemy fighters but I guess they didn't saw us, and we kept our course as planed. As we're closing to the target, I started to relax because it was just one visual recon pass to perform and the taxi was running OK. And I saw "it"... What came to my mind was "...if only I'd pay attention to the briefing..." But we were there and it was simple, just one pass under ..."it" We notice some trucks and some barracks. Strange As we were closer, we realise the huge size of "what" we had just in front of us. Ok! Concentrate! I made one pass just over the ruins of what should have been there before, trying not to look above. I flew under "it"... I've made it!!! and did a real tight turn to take the course back home... .
  24. If I was to deal with that, I would decrease the "SpringFactor" and "DampingFactor" values. Not too much to keep a good touchdown but enough to make the gear more flexible. Just my point of view ;) Nice bird!
  25. Climbing, diving, climbing, diving... The fun never stops ...unless the dive is too steep
