  1. As posted in the screenshots forum, least a WIP, getting finals on my F/A-18F "VFA-111 Sundowners" CAG and line Jet: I got most of it laid out, but would like some input as far as a design. I also have the legacy "NL" made up for the CAG but for the line too have to do.
  2. Strike Montage and a "VFA-111 Sundowners 'What If' CAG" WIP.
  3. pureblue, got your PM and right now can't download due to server issues... if you can PM it to me that would get it to me faster... You juts have to use 7z to make it a zip file... and thanks!
  4. Let's stick with one paintscheme for the droptanks, unless people feel the need for different ones. When able could you PM me the modded stuff while I'm in transit?
  5. Well if it can be done, can you try?
  6. Definitely looking nice
  7. Thank you very much!
  8. Nice looking stuff... S-300 sites perhaps? Not sure how many they got, but it'd be a nice change from innefectual SA-2 sites. But really makes me want to put in the request for beta tester... Seriously it's looking beautiful... The response once I saw the sub pen was "oh nice" You can put helo pads around, as Wrench said they should be lurking about, if not from his Range Upgrade files for the Range map.
  9. I think we had that issue due to game limitations with the Supa Bug. No way to really make that happen unless we sacrifice some slots correct? And will the SF2 engine be able to release them correct?
  10. From what I understand the mapping for the aircaft's drop tank is part of the aircraft skin. So in order to change the drop tank skin, you have to find the part on the aircraft skin where the texture for the aircraft is mapped. SFG/WoX didn't have this ability, so now SF2 allows you to do this, so far with stock skins. Cool thing TK adds a little touch but doesn't caress the modders heart right.
  11. Dude don't say that, maybe when you're out of the country..... I've talked to an "Eaglette" and a Kiowaett, and even an Apachette. No man, it sounds always better to hear a female than a dude, but while still in country I'll refrain from mocking female pilots... And Spinners most definitely the most exotic... scheme ever... Does honestly look cool though
  12. Remember or write down the .dll (I know what you're talking about) and Google it. You should find it available for download (for free). Once you put that in your WOV Main Folder, the game will play. I have the same issue and keep a copy in case you have to download the other series (SFG/WOE/WOI).
  13. Well it'd be a definite treat for some new (and hopefully lots) target sets. It'd be interesting to see how that works out...
  14. Along with MB, I don't really have any love for Vista... not much anyways. Mine freezes up depending on what programs I'm running so it really makes me leery about doing anything sometimes. So if there's no need to get Vista, you're really not missing much. Matter of fact I wish it had XP on there, didn't have nearly the same problems with that than I do with Vista.
  15. O RLY? That is good to hear
  16. Nice Spinners.
  17. Maybe, but that's for Dave to decide to do.
  18. So.... where's the beef? Nice looking but really... we going to see this being worked on?
  19. Great shots ChrisBV and fougamagister!
  20. Damn and me without my thumb drive.... Hey do the doors open automatically as well as the gun door?
  21. After LOMAC and seeing it for real, I wish the Targeting Pod worked as it does IRL. It is soo nice to be able to target stuff without having to take a random chance.
  22. As above, but most of the time I just pick them off for giggles. Don't take them lighly but the best thing to do is jink heavily. As with any sim, the bullets are aimed either by eye or by the Gun Dish on the Shilka. The more you maneuver, the harder it is for them to hit you, simply put. As for targeting... hit E until the ZSU is targeted, and hit F4 for padlock, and if it's the one you want, learn how to maneuver your a/c until you get within a few degrees (Mavs can sorta offboresight, but my EELs are great for that ) launch and pull away, and if you hit it, the view will return to center. If there's no SAM threat then go high and pick them off.
