  4. It's not like they beheaded him while he was alive...
  5. One thing I've noticed over the years is the seniority of the personnel on the team, plus how far into the season it is. Those are the determining factors. But like JM said they're both EXCELLENT.
  6. Wikipedia has the range at 1,200nm on internal fuel, giving you a rough 6500nm for the combat radius.
  7. Thanks for posting that link!
  8. No worries, I'll be on vacation for the next week or so, I doubt I'll have time to test it a I'll be out @ Oshkosh and spending time with the new wife.
  9. Boeing Flies F-15 Silent Eagle By: Chris Pocock AIN Defense Perspective >> July 2010 Military Aircraft The Silent Eagle testbed is a modified F-15E (the original prototype). On its first flight it demonstrated its conformal weapons bay. (Boeing) Boeing has flown the interim version of the Silent Eagle, a company-funded effort to generate further export sales of the F-15 Strike Eagle. The demonstrator, designated F-15E1, took off from St. Louis for an 80-minute flight, during which the doors of the new conformal weapons bay were cycled. The bay is a development of the F-15E’s existing conformal fuel tank that allows internal (and therefore more stealthy) weapons carriage. On the first test flight the Silent Eagle demonstrator contained an instrumented AIM-120 AMRAAM. The launch of one of these missiles from the F-15E1 will be soon be demonstrated on the Pacific Missile Test Range, said Boeing program director Brad Jones. Development of a definitive Silent Eagle–including AESA radar, large-screen cockpit display, digital electronic warfare system and canted tails–awaits customer funding. Korea has “great interest” in the Silent Eagle, Jones said last month.

  12. Thanks for the quickie review. I still haven't had time to play with it even thought the wife is away.
  13. Thanks what I thought. I didn't know if there was a code in any of the INI that specified the order of which EXT fed first, or for the INT tanks.
  14. Talk about going to the source!
  15. When an aircraft is carrying externals, is there a way to figure out which tanks burn first (eg wing vs. centerline)? any way to change it?
  16. Looks like it installed correctly. I guess I hit the panic button too soon. Thanks!
  17. There should be an entry in the SFP1 knowledge base.
  18. FC, too bad you retired from USAF. You could of switched back to the Bone and exacted some revenge. Hope your Mk.0 Optical Sensors are OK.
  19. Combat-Helo Ditto to what Dave said!
  20. I'm sure Dave will tell you that a C-5 cannot even support itself
  21. Once again I'm reinstalling my Gen2 games. When I install SF2, it sets up a 'merged' folder. When I go to install SF2V, it defaults to 'Strike Fighters 2', with nothing happening to the merged folder. Suggestions?
  22. Redoing my Gen 2 Installs
