  1. TV Land has some, and there's also a channel called 'Retro TV'. Don't know if it's local, or national. Knight Rider, A-Team, Rockford Files, and others are on there...but no Airwolf

    Dayton Air Show

When my mom took me to airshows when I was a kid, I always told her to be me at the C-5 "Mom, it's the BIG plane!" :)
  3. Stewart dropped some iron in 'Nam before his retirement. Quite a long career, starting in WWII (as a lot of other 'Nam vets did).
  4. No worries ToS, I know it's a WIP. As far as the compass, I forgot that I'd have to 'lean over' to see it.
  5. REALLY!?!? People these days...
  6. I had the same idea, mine was based on the carrier. This was probably about 15 years ago, but I thought computers would never be able to handle it. Damn, looks like I was wrong again!
  7. I stumbled upon this after reading the links posted above. Hopefully I'll have more time to play with this in the coming months. It's free, and it looks like add-ons are available. GC Blue Wiki
  8. Happy Birthday guys!
  9. My airspeed/mach indicator issue (mach disc is missing) pic courtesy of MATS and my missing/submerged wet (standby) compass #39 I know different blocks might have had it mounted in different places, so no big worries there...
  10. Ugh, hate to be a PITA, but my MACH needle/disc and wet compass aren't showing up. I've tried reinstalling it (and reading the README, under threat of death from Dave), and still no go. Any ideas?
  11. Congratulations and good luck on your new leadership position!
  12. It has been my understanding that the Blues got what the navy gave them, whereas the 'Birds got the latest and greatest, while still being combat capable in 24hrs.
  13. Since we're talking about it....j just found this site: http://b-1b.org/
  14. I think they are still using some A models.
  15. Politics plays a huge role in the destruction of airframes. Politicians (and generals/admirals) get really pissy when their pet project comes up short when an older airframe starts doing better and casts doubt on the relevance of their project (eg SR-71 vs satellites, F-14 vs 'Super' Hornet). If you grind up the old stuff, then 'Oh gee, guess we'll just HAVE to use the new thing!'....argh
  16. C5, 16.2 is spot on for INT fuel.
