THANK YOU, this definitely will go into the Nihon Hitori 2020 campaign at either v1 or 1.X stage, plus the 2.0 stage!

I, for one, am very grateful for all those TBs of pro bono/volunteer (up to you) add-ons Third Wire should have added to their sim. Frankly, in many but not all respects SF2 is what Janes' Fighter Anthology could have been.

Well since some of us are into RAF action, let's play "Red Storm Rising: The GR.1 Tornado Strikes Back, 1990 Edition".... Of course, some Fitters have to come play and try to get at the friendly advancing Leopard tanks... and the results aren't so good. For the Fitters, that is. \ The Fitters still stuck around, probably thinking I wouldn't yank out my Aden cannon. But I certainly did... BBBYYYEEE

It's a damn shame the Russians didn't build this out. One of my fav diecast toys as a kid, plus would arguably make a good replacement for the MiG-29.

NVIDIA driver 419.17 as of Feb 22 does not work on SF2
JosefK replied to stingray77's topic in General Discussion
Same driver I just got, works OK. I suspect my issues of limited play before the graphics driver stops drawing jets is 100% due to the new Tornados having LOD (or something like that). But I must say your Su-30SM build is rather nice ;-). Also thanks for sharing the driver # as I found I was way behind. -

Thank you, been having some similar issues lately. Get to play only a few missions. I will check my drivers this evening (Pacific time). Checked my drivers. I have driver V 388.13 for Nvidia GTX 750 Ti, 2 GB GDDR 5. -
I agree. Really think the Russians are doing the free world a favour not making the Su-57 marketable... at least we can enjoy the Arctic Splinter in other ways: Of course, there's the SF2 version:

Well my book finally arrived. I've just decided considering the real world ORBAT of the Russian Air Forces to spend my SF2 time this weekend trying to get an acceptable - to me - version of THIS into SF2: One of my standards will be to program thrust vectoring in but also get a cockpit that you can use if flipping the tables is desired... something that I find rather interesting. This will significantly up the risk of a release delay into April, but I want to get close to realism. NOT a flag-waving, Russians jets bad, Japanese flown US jets good, type-type-trigger arcade game.

Sure wish I had the time to learn how to fly the DCS Tomcat... because it's probably the best sim that will ever be made of it. EDIT: Nothing against @Caesar, just the limitations of the SF2 sim.

Uh gee, that was Beyond Stupid Sukhoi firing an air-to-ground missile with what's at your six...

Thanks so much @Arrow, just do the best you can. -
Be awesome to have valleys to fly thru textured like that!

I can do that easy. Yup, that is what I miss @Wrench. I hope to use SF2:NA like I used Fighters Anthology...

Wonder if and where it's possible to write a brief description giving context before a single mission? Probably a stupid question as the answer is somewhere, but I'm asking... Thanks in advance.

Been busy testing a Tornado for a SF2 wingman, so haven't had too much time to test & play. Plus waiting for the above book to arrive... But for now, enjoy this:
