Yeah, it's been posted before and it's not fake. It happened on the 22nd Sept 2K9 and was a mid-air collision between it and a Saeqeh I think. I can't remember if it was the Iraqi AWACS plane or an IL-76 variant.

I'm sure you don't want me to ask this, but are you 100% sure your coding with the targets, ground objects and dates are correct? If anything is awry with them, your missions will usually default to Recon even if your squadron isn't tasked with it.

It may not be a Steam issue but a video card config issue. I have a very similar issue with ARMA II and the GTAs. When ARMA is installed, the GTAs will not run for love nor money. After a bit of hit and miss experimentation I discovered ARMA II changes some settings in your Card's config (even though it shouldn't) when installed and seems to reset these changes when uninstalled. I've noticed this somewhat with other games, but I haven't been able to narrow it down completely. Oddly, almost none of them were Steam games that were affected...

Payday: The Heist was a great shooter released at the start of October. More fun and 1/3 the price and far more original than MW3. I mean, I like MW3, but only like. It's far too over hyped and way too expensive for what it is. If you Seppos are complaining about paying $60 for it, over here, we pay roughly equivalent of US$108 for it. And your dollar is cheaper than ours right now!! We should be paying less!! Well, Activision got what they wanted I suppose, MW is the new Halo.

Interesting thing about the user reviews in Metacritic though, check out how many of them have less than 5 reviews to their names. One user in that PC World article suggested the same thing, implying some astroturfing taking place. He may be onto something... Then again, they could just be honest nerd boys having a vent, but it's such a common tactic to give it the benefit of the doubt.

From all the previews, you could tell it was just MW2 - 2011 edition. But did I read that right, no dedicated servers and no dedicated ranked servers??? Seriously??? I remember when 4 came out and it was the sh*t and Halo was where the douche bags hung out. Seems MW's become the new Halo.

Absolutely. It's almost silent at Nowra now and the only Skyhawks I know of there is the Scooter sitting in the FAA museum. This was an excellent find Mako. So what's the story about this specific release, it was quashed by the NZ government???

Flying the Hind was a lot of fun too, but being able to have the nose pitch down 45 degrees without falling out of the sky was a bit disconcerting. It very much felt like Ace Combat (like the not-crap ones) to me, which isn't a bad thing.

That would be awesome! I set up some kind of petition to have a national flogging day for the members of the public to absolutely go nuts on the members of both houses! I though that might be the case. The only other thing I could think of was at the opposite end of the spectrum and changing the force and projectile details on the howitzer. But that inevitably results in a sudden jink to starboard of 300kph or something similar. Thanks for your help Wrench. I think I have more testing in order...
