  1. Probably means "delete" ?
  2. Could be the language of the OS, if you have a non English XP then see the FAQ http://www.overflandersfields.com/FAQ.htm
  3. Don't forget there are two Strutters in there - one is a single seater version.
  4. LOL JohnGresham, you'd think they were trying to kill someone!
  5. Make sure you are patched up to date. Wings do come off on the Albs (DIII's mostly but all do) tested it many times, and also more recently when Olham said he could not make them break. Think he reinstalled in the end.. Wing damage from diving isn't great in CFS3, but they do get damage when overspeed just takes too long usually. Mostly wing breaks will come from severe manoeuvring, pull ups after a dive. it will usually not be 1 dive and pull up but a few. DV's are slightly stronger (may take say 5 or 6 180 mph dives, DIII maybe 2 or 3). Again with the trillion settings and options, joystick settings etc etc, hard to make it work for everyone, but it definitely does do it.
  6. Interesting that even in 1915 when this was written Archie "has since grown up and become sober, calculating, accurate, relentless, cunning, and deadly mathematical." Thanks for posting Lou
  7. Yes it should come off under high stress. Listen to the creaking ;) Nieuports and the sesquiplane aircraft (1 wing + 1 smaller wing) have weak lower wings (similar problem with Albatros series that copied the Nieuport design). High speed diving or high G manouvres (especially pulling up sharply) cause over stress, and at some point.. snap. Be more gentle basically.
  8. It's because of the trillion variables for example nearby airfields, with various scenery, at different times of the war, with more nearby enemies or friendlies in the air, with varying aircraft models in the air which can vary in polygon count etc, and then on top of that add the users varying system, software, settings etc ;)
  9. May need to delete that pilot and recreate a new one. If not send your order# and full details to support @overflandersfields.com and we'll try to help.
  10. Welcome, From the FAQ http://www.overflandersfields.com/FAQ.htm#A27
  11. Maybe he tripped and fell onto a spinning prop, or went back out for a bit of show boating, or maybe he died as one of Cecil Lewis' friends did, hit a rut/pot hole on landing and flipped the craft. Another if I remember went around the sharp end of a gun jam helping out, and it cleared.. Million ways to die there.
  12. Yes Barnstorm thanks for posting that. My comments were on the jaggies themselves not the problems with overclocking as such. Often the benefit of excessive O/C is overrated, as other sub systems are reduced in effectiveness or overheat etc.
  13. Looking great SJ I bet pilots get mesmerised watching it.
  14. Hellshade, try these.. http://www.start64.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=610&Itemid=72 http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/KLite-Codec-Pack-64bit/1094057842/5
  15. They are always there when panning fast as it needs to render huge textures that are off screen and you are just seeing a tiny corner of the texture that needs to be rendered. It can be reduced or lessened with better performance gear or lower/other combinations of Nvidia/Ati settings, or in game slider settings for terrain /scenery. Cloudy days you see them less simply because you see "sky" through the terrain render. Blue sky=bright. Grey sky not obvious
  16. Fokker EV was much further along than many other craft so will be the first. We only have 2 modellers at the moment (who do other things too) so takes a lot of time - we have been working on this for 5 years so we know what is missing, and we know what is required.. just time.
  17. N11 is very nimble. If you have "Auto rudder" enabled it will probably be a dog. The rudder is very important in these WW1 craft so manual control and use it to start turns.
  18. waiting for a nice cup of tea.

      Polovski

That means beatifully brewed strong tea (where you can taste and see there is actually tea in it, not the 30 second brief dunk of a teabag (yeerk).

Polovski are you still doing OFF/HITR? Just got the HITR mod and wanted to do a multiplayer test with someone here at CA. Another player pointed me in your direction and said you could be of assistance ;)

  19. There are no skins for that squadron made yet... just 38656 skins to go to have them all ;) Anyway simply turn off Manager warnings in the Workshop - or keep downloading 1.32 and then it will be off anyway :)
  20. There were various methods used, including dropping messages, firing flares, and radio later in some craft.
  21. OK here's all the plans... Well there's an EV coming first (think we mentioned that) Then a N24, and which is next is debatable but I heard it's a <BANG> editor: Sorry we had to shoot Pol. Phew almost.
  22. Turn it down as I say. Also the more AI you have in the air the more your CPU has to cope with keeping in the air. Could be a glitch yes of course and llet us know on the flak (assuming you have 1.32f installed?) aircraft engage more at the moment and only some break off.. maybe in the future we can change that if it's possible - but it isnt there now.
  23. There is no Gotha in any official release. Sounds like SJ is talking sense.
  24. CJ is right. We improved all the props for P3 - can't rem if it was at launch or in a patch but they used to be flat discs.
  25. Be2c has different reported speeds. Also 90mhp from several sources. with RAF 1a 90 hp, Vee engine Be2b was 72 I think @6500ft (70HP Renault engine).
