More details please carrick58 - exactly where do you see that, what do you click. If you can get to workshop, try "reset CFS3" will lose your settings and Pilots but may fix it.

Tim, Many people say it's not heat, but most of the time in OFF support cases so far, it is. May not be here, of course, but at least we have to check into that. If other games are fine then means nothing. OFF stretches your CPU a lot, and memory, and GPU memory. If there is anything that will find it out, OFF will. I have been doing PC tech support at one level or another for around 17 years, and flight simming for 25 too so I think we all know one or two things ;). Recently I too had crashes in OFF never had them before, couldn't work it out.. opened my well ventilated case, found my 8GB of super duper amazing super cooled OCZ RAM with heat pipes.... melted the heatpipes off !!! Yep the cooler was 45 degrees angled to the memory. Nice. The weren't even overclocked.. so much for paying extra for the "good" stuff. So never say never is my motto. What sliders are you set to? Did you read through the FAQ Q.25 and try anything at all of those 7 things to try? First thing I'd try is running cfs3config and reset to default? Then put your slider settings back in. Did you install any other software recently? Any other new drivers? It could also be the craft you are flying is different to the norm, the location, the date, with different events happening, anything really. Could be drive corruption (did you do a Scandisk?) It's definitely there and definitely works on NVidia. I've also gone back twice and checked twice since you mentioned it. ATI never has shown _S.dds specular since a very very very old driver, and never shows the shine on dials, or mirror in CFS3/OFF. It's obviously a particular feature in DirectX it no longer supports. Try a reset to default in CFSconfig for sliders, then set up sliders,. and set resolution only first nothing else.

CFS3 QC all airfields are enemy.. in OFF QC they are corrected.

Start screen is by Paarma - I just tweaked it some. There were a few other changes but not to the Pup wing cut out anyway - well not intentionally anyway ;).

If it's the DVD version yes 1 DVD. If CD no, there are 2.

It's quick so generic squads, no Ace names, so no skins are not assigned. Craft will use whatever skins they had last time they were used. More options are possible but not right now.

Hi FB, thanks each person is entitled to their opinion, but here have been NO changes to AI. Maybe before you had something odd in your install? Archie was the same but incredibly inaccurate due to a bug. Earlier is less Archie, later is more. Also again as with many issues reported, before jumping to conclusions we ask people to try other settings, dates, squads, for example if there is a major battle on Archie increases.. did you check a quieter time? Also there's a setting for ground fire in workshop try reducing it? We can look at flak default settings, possibly gone more noticible because of major battle andit's more accurate, and louder (until you set your preferred settings in workshop)? Trees are more dense in areas maybe it doesn't look as good as sparse? Latest Nvidia drivers make the terrain weird and gritty too so if you have Nvidia and those try reverting some.

Don't forget to lower sound volume in workshop if it's too loud see Winder's recent sticky post.

There aren't more, just louder and new sound here and there. Simply change your sound settings in the workshop, you can lower effects, job done.

lol Olham. Font not user configurable, not sure it can be made bigger later, WM maybe can answer. I can read the font on the Aces screen try adjusting contrast or brightness on your monitor.

No not seen that, something went screwy there. If you get that there are options in workshop to reset CFS3 etc that you can try, then you will need to go through the config again.

Indeed JimAttrill, so that's why it is one of the finest of WW1- a vicious unforgiving beast to a new flyer but if you lived long enough to master it, you could turn its viciousness onto the enemy,

Stick Auto/manual campaign advance on, in Workshop. Then if you get a mission you don't like, click the "time advance" button bottom right on campaign screen which will change day/time and mission. Then go back to mission briefing.

Best thing, turn labels off then you won't be bothered by it. We do not process each AI pilot actions yet, we can track them, and we may in future versions use a lot more of the information we record, but right now no. A lot of work and only so many hours in the day.

OFF will cook your CPU more than many as it's quite CPU intensive program. So if you over clock, maybe take it down a notch - it can overheat things a little more than some programs, and that can cause it to exit too yes, it can also cook memory and GPU more too.

Part of the mission and scenery/target code for OFF no I don't think you can hide them.

If you blew up the mission balloon (and no one else did - perhaps a wingman or enemy ground fire hit it too....) then yes you should be able to claim. If you shoot the wrong balloon no. If you shoot a balloon when you haven't been sent to do it no.
