  7. and ODS!
  8. What are the keys mapped to in the games options menu? it might still use "default.ini" in the controls folder by default. With YAP dont use the dynamic single mission mode - too much has been changed.
  9. Dr Steven Falkans belief that Firewalls are not essential still persists to today!
  10. You havnt got a start up video in your games?
  11. Well if this for real potentially it could protect all vehicles from missiles - but is it good enough to make missiles obsolete?
  12. Wow an actual force field!! I guess it must be emitting some kind of powerful EM pulse at the incoming rpg??
  13. Improved in what way? What was wrong with the F-4?? - I know it wasn't perfect but it wasn't far off. See countless other threads on how to fly the F-4 properly.
  14. No harm in trying - You would just have to extract all of the correct files needed and put them into the cockpit folder
  15. I would go for the MiG-35 for 4.5 Gen due to the familiarity India already has and versatility of the airframe and cost / tech transfer - but would have to see that the avionics are up to a good standard. As an airframe its got 2 engines, its very agile, M2.4 top end, great acceleration, and it can operate from poor / dusty runways.
  16. Happy Birthday old chap!
  17. errr no - is that xp? restart the PC try running the game directly from the exe in the games folder Could you have changed the file association with exe files?
  18. Looking great in SEA camo!!
  19. One of the best ive seen in content and quality - well done Thats good quality and speed considering its the free version of FRAPs - my system cant handle that!
  20. Well I doubt anyone else is going to admit doing it - and I'm surprised you have because you know damn well its taking the p*** and is not going to make you very popular on here. Really its a hole that needs to be blocked by the admins - everyones got more than 1 email addy.
  21. Are you playing in single mission mode? I expect any plane from Syria/Jordan/libya/lebanon/algeria/egypt/Iraq can use any of the others red side airbases - and in single mission mode you will be sent to either country randomly - random single missions will never be historically correct - its just a practise mode - also the game is only designed to be flown as an Israeli pilot so wont have been tested fully flying for other sides. If you play a campaign you will see that everything will be more historically correct - even though you may see Libyan Mirages at Egyptian bases that did happen in 1973 as well as Soviet squadrons and I think even Iraqi squadrons flying from Syria.
  22. The original Strike Fighters Gold (2002) and Wings Over Vietnam (2004) did https://store.thirdwire.com/store_p2.htm You might not be able to patch them up though because the later versions use more resources - in fact check before buying online that you are getting the unpatched original version - if not then get a boxed version from Amazon. Even Falcon 4 AF needs a 128MB card so your going to be limited unless you go back in time further.
  23. Would be the minimum altitude the flaplid can detect the target. Question is though was the original 1979 SA-10 actually any good? No doubt it was heavily modified throughout the 80s and beyond into a lethal system - but a 1979 system with a 95 counter counter measure figure????
  24. Force is strong for Jedi police from: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/glasgo...est/8003067.stm Eight police officers serving with Scotland's largest force listed their official religion as Jedi in voluntary diversity forms, it has emerged. Strathclyde Police said the officers and two of its civilian staff claimed to follow the faith, which features in the Star Wars movies. The details were obtained in a Freedom of Information request by Jane's Police Review. Strathclyde was the only force in the UK to admit it had Jedi officers. In the Star Wars films, Jedi Knights such as Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda use the Force to battle the evil Darth Vader, who has strayed to the dark side. Jane's Police Review editor Chris Herbert, who requested the information, said: "The Force appears to be strong in Strathclyde Police with their Jedi police officers and staff. "Far from living a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, some members of the noble Jedi order have now chosen Glasgow and its surrounding streets as their home." Provided voluntarily A spokeswoman for Strathclyde Police confirmed: "At the time of the request, 10 (eight police officers and two police staff) had recorded their religion as Jedi." She added that the force monitored "six strands of diversity" - age, disability, gender, race religion and belief, and sexual orientation. The force said the information was provided voluntarily and securely stored. About 390,000 people listed their religion as Jedi in the 2001 Census for England and Wales. In Scotland the figure was a reported 14,000. The Office for National Statistics did not recognise it as a separate category, and incorporated followers of Jedi with the atheists. Last year, brothers Barney and Daniel Jones founded the UK Church of the Jedi - which offered sermons on the Force, light sabre training, and meditation techniques. Strathclyde Police employs 8,200 police officers and 2,800 civilian staff.
