  1. Summer Flash Sale and bundles Dear customers! We are happy to remind you that Summer Sale goes on until Monday, June 20th with up to -40% discount! One of our most popular modules is Flaming Cliffs 3. Combining multiple aircraft with a shallower learning curve than our other DCS modules has proved to be very popular. Over the years, we've been updating the external models, cockpits and flight dynamics to make this one of our best titles. To put Flaming Cliffs 3 in the hands of more users, we are offering a couple Flaming Cliffs 3 bundle deals starting today at 1500 GMT and lasting until Monday, June 20th at 0900 GMT. You will save 50% on both deals and they apply both the Eurasian Economic Union, as well as the rest of the world: Flaming Cliffs 3 + DCS: A-10C Warthog + DCS: Black Shark 2 Flaming Cliffs 3 + DCS: Combined Arms Special Offers Store Page: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/shop/special_offers/ You can read more about Flaming Cliffs 3 here: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/products/planes/flaming_cliffs/ Nevada Screenshot Contest Extension We've been getting some great submissions for the Nevada map screenshot contest, but we've decided to extend it to Monday, June 20th 0900 GMT to allow more of you to participate. Good luck all! Have a great weekend, The Eagle Dynamics Team
  2. Most who remember the original Strike Fighters: Project 1 and are still around hopefully wouldn't be put off by this and can see the potential. There must be a place for a SF level game with more recent era fighters now DCS has gone in the hard core direction.
  3. v803, with a main focus on stability is available now, major updates/fixes are: mission crashes runway black textures fixed autopilot roll oscillation fixed water injection input mapping fixed missing terrain tile after switching regions fixed gamma setting added larger terrain cache Next update should be available in a couple of days and will focus on missions/training and further bug fixes. Following that, focus will shift to campaign issues. See the dev blog for detail on previous updates: http://devblog.sim155.com/ http://steamcommunity.com/games/347170/announcements/detail/883084262449113230

  4. Well said Wrench Please consider that this site consists of many types of people from many different cultures and backgrounds........and as for freedom of speech YGBSM. There are plenty of other sites you can go to publicly get on your soapbox (this is not one of them)...........and you might also find you don't really have freedom of speech there either (if your definition has no boundaries). So any more of this sh*t and I am breaking the emergency glass that releases Dave from his cave!!
  5. Probably from http://www.testpilot.ru/review/mig_pilot/ch_8.htm The data Belenko supplied in response to the first quick queries also seemed surprising and, at first, contradictory. What is the maximum speed of the MiG-25? You cannot safely exceed Mach 2.8, but actually we were forbidden to exceed Mach 2.5. You see, at high speeds the engines have a very strong tendency to accelerate out of control, and if they go above Mach 2.8, they will overheat and burn up. But we have tracked the MiG-25 at Mach 3.2. Yes, and every time it has flown that fast the engines have been completely ruined and had to be replaced and the pilot was lucky to land in one piece. (That fitted with intelligence the Americans had. They knew that the MiG-25 clocked over Israel at Mach 3.2 in 1973 had landed back in Egypt with its engines totally wrecked. They did not understand that the wreckage was inevitable rather than a freakish occurrence.)
  6. Another truly sad disaster (just read the texts sent by a boy to his mother) may the victims RIP.
  7. OMG - wasn't expecting this!!

  9. Yes.....not seen any problems thus far
  10. DCS 2.0 is currently at Alpha release as I understand it. All I know is that DCS 2.0 will become the de facto version sometime in the future instead of the 1.5 we are on now..........and when that happens I expect all the maps and Modules to be available and work together.....but as ever keep an eye out for news.
  11. In this upcoming DLC campaign for DCS World, Apache600 has found a unique way of putting a square peg in a round hole with The Museum Relic story… http://www.mudspike.com/the-museum-relic-dcs-world-campaign/
  12. Nice article: Mudspike Contributor Charles ‘Chuck Owl’ Ouellet gives us his first experiences of using the Oculus Rift CV1 with DCS. http://www.mudspike.com/oculus-rift-cv1-first-impressions-with-dcs/
  13. Modding support?? http://steamcommunity.com/app/347170
  14. If you are on Steam looks like early access from tomorrow. http://combatairpatrol2.com/
  15. Might be of interest to some

  18. Warthog Deals Despite being one of our oldest DCS World modules, our Warthog continues to still be one of our most popular. When paired with the new Nevada Test and Training Range map and the A-10C Red Flag campaign, it creates one of the most engaging flight simulation experiences you can have on a PC. For this weekend, we have two Hog deals. They will start on 03 June 2016 at 1500 GMT and last until 06 June 2016 at 0900 GMT. DCS: A-10C Warthog + DCS: NEVADA Test and Training Range map for $59.99 USD A-10C: 16-2 Red Flag Campaign -50% off We've also included some of our favorite A-10C images. DCS: F-5E Tiger II Preview Video While Eagle Dynamics is primarily focused on DCS World 2.5, Spitfire, and F/A-18C Hornet, our friends at Belsimtek are busy getting the F-5E Tiger II ready for an Early Access release. The module has entered testing, and preparations for manual localization is underway. One of our German translators, Rakuzard, has created a couple preview videos of this new module: English: https://youtu.be/jtWw-_Nx8P0 German: https://youtu.be/U9JDtzt5nTc DCS: F-5E Tiger II is currently available in pre-purchase with a 20% savings at DCS site. Have a great weekend, The Eagle Dynamics Team
  19. There are conditions they need to adhere to as an ED 3rd Party......whether this includes better customer service I'm not sure........has anyone had any issues with the M2000C? - I gather the FM needed a bit of work? I do have the M2000C .......just havn't had time to fly it yet............am on Belsimteks MiG-15bis though, that's very good!
  20. Awesome question! This is a question I used to ask a lot while going through flight school. I am truly fortunate to have experience flying both jets. They are both awesome machines with tremendous capability, but you’ll see why I prefer the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet by the time you finish reading......... https://fightersweep.com/5334/ask-fighter-pilot-hornet-vs-super-hornet/
  21. Sadly looks like it will be released for free if enough people put up a donation first http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=167780
  22. It could certainly be related to another program trying to do something.......might be worth seeing whats running and stopping a few of them.....disable the AV for a few mins to test.
  23. Could be to with the delay when the CPU ramps up the speed. So are all your cores now running at the turboboost speed or the standard speed - as in are you overclocking at all?
