  2. Try changing selected colour tool im GIMP, and replace some greenish brown ISGREEN-type tiles... Hmm seems I will have to upload new version with darker water and second winter season...
  3. so let it be snow specular fun disclaimer: Great idea by: Julhelm
  4. no need for seasonal tiles IMO now... I'd prefer to spend time fixing few tiles instead as for water: 1) I wanted close to original NA water look 2) North Atlantic current is quite blue-ish much like in NA
  5. which is 100% based on my Isreal repaint Keflavik defender:
  6. I must admit I'm not familiar with that modifier but exactly this is it!

  12. 3 things MUST share the same name as the folder they reside in, "terrainname" is the example here: terrainname/terrainname.ini terrainname/terrainname.HFD terrainname/terrainname.TFD the rest of terrain's key .ini files can be as specified in terrainname.ini
  13. it's the one Wrench provided link to, at Gerwin's site: http://members.quicknet.nl/lm.broers/
  14. or simply extrude them few centimeters?
  15. best would be to re-tile the area in question with tiles that don't have trees on them (those airbase -AB tiles) as for removing individual trees -the removal would affect trees layout on every tile of that name (in example VietnamGJ50B.bmp)
  16. View File Gerwin's Iceland 1024 tileset This is 1024x1024 optional tileset and treemod for Gerwin's "old format" IcelandNA terrain. New waternormal included (still experimenting with those) Stretching the reality a bit I decided to add some clusters of trees/bushes to most of non-snow tiles -this way it's not 100% accurate but gives us something happening down low. 17. 2 ways: 1) tile specific approach -only via Terrain Editor and using texturelist used by original creator, this way you can add/remove some trees per tile 2) retiling approach -simpler, also using TE, by retiling the area in question with tiles that have no trees -for Vietnam maps it's usually prefix-AB tiles

  25. Daniel you won't be away that long... something will draw you back, trust me been there done that But real life is the one that's important after all, and forcing self to mod is the worst thing one could do
