  7. best would be to re-tile the area in question with tiles that don't have trees on them (those airbase -AB tiles) as for removing individual trees -the removal would affect trees layout on every tile of that name (in example VietnamGJ50B.bmp)

  9. 2 ways: 1) tile specific approach -only via Terrain Editor and using texturelist used by original creator, this way you can add/remove some trees per tile 2) retiling approach -simpler, also using TE, by retiling the area in question with tiles that have no trees -for Vietnam maps it's usually prefix-AB tiles

  17. Daniel you won't be away that long... something will draw you back, trust me been there done that But real life is the one that's important after all, and forcing self to mod is the worst thing one could do
  18. to add things like new gauges or displays to a cockpits one must have the original Max file, so it's not possible to the end-user one thing that's possible via .ini file manipulations is to remove/hide some parts of the cockpit or reposition some parts of it slightly

  23. hmm I just noticed that gun ammo is at 412 rounds in my case in "E"... shouldn't it be a bit more, like 512 or 578? hmm I checked AI version of "E" data and it has 570 rounds loaded
  24. tested yesterday, release at about 3,5 mil from target runway at quite low level (around 3000-3500 ft, had to dodge some missiles exchanges from two other flights around) and my bombs fell as should for a second, then leveled to start going up! Yes went up maintaining leveled position my wingman's bombs behaved correctly
  25. Noticed that too, quite telling regarding both those few newbie "I want this and that poll" guys and IMO TK's approach to long term dedicated modding members
