  2. SZ, if you look closely you'll notice it's not Phantom's shadow issue but originates from that infamous pit1.LOD in the background
  3. What for? The "long shadow" bug on pit1.LOD is a well known issue for years -caused by fault (hole) in stock Thirdwire mesh. As for fading, trust me I spend helluva time on the flightengine, terrain data settings and teralphaobject.fx shader to make the objects fade at longer distance to no luck so far, hardcoded somewhere (executable level?)

  8. +1 not being a marine thingy guy, I prefer to have them nice and shiny, even in lower number. (Heck, you could substitute aircraft carrier model for a corvetter and I would be easily fooled )

  13. Haven't played NA in some time (real life duties) but finally had time to try campaign using Gerwin's HFD version of Iceland, with Jules' HR tiles. Boring, boring, boring part where the real FUN begins: "Honey, I'm home, where are you?" "Oh, there you are" "Don't turn on me now!" "Your rear is mine" "Mission accomplished"

  16. Nice additional work on the tiles Jules Some issues -the TODs that are borrowed from my SF2Israel and are included in Julhelm's package -DO NOT use them, they WILL create a mess, and helluva small hamlets all across the map

  19. gerwin, I was wondering the other day (well, loong time ago) if it would be possible to somehow convert standard 2000meters x 2000meters tiling all stock and 3rd party SF terrains use to 1000m x 1000m WITHOUT resizing the map of course, sort of smart auto-texturing/converting (one 2km x 2km tile holds 4 1km x 1km ones of course) this way we could gain more detail as a whole lot more objects seems to fit on 1x1 km tile and the tiling could gain in detail. just a thought of course and yes I suppose answer is no
