Those T-72s were like butter under a hot knife, and by the time my Vipers arrived, those M1A1s had melted them all.

For these professional modern "electronic warfare" birds, I usually choose to give them a very high value to ensure that they really work when they should work. After all, the electronic warfare in SF2 is extremely simplified (although I think other games and even DCS are not more detailed, after all, electronic warfare is the most confidential information of several major countries) I think the jamming strength here depends on the search/tracking strength of the enemy radar. It will be obviously effective when the former value is larger than the latter, so I have been thinking about unifying the "strength standard" in the game according to different radars, but it is obviously very troublesome. What do you think? (Just want to see your opinions, not asking for) As for the AIM-260, perhaps all we can do is wait. I have been searching for information as much as possible in the few months this year, and at most I found a "suspected" test launch of JATM in 2019, and some inventory issues mentioned in budget documents, the rests are pretty much guessworks.Truly a top secret project.

Missile performance tuning overview
simonmiller416 replied to OlWilly's topic in Mods & Skinning Discussion
This thread is very useful, thanks! I will come back here when I get tired of A2A missiles that still fly 3 march at beyond 200 km. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Regarding the "lofted missiles" part, I would like to share my point, although it may not be completely correct. Many modern missiles claim to have a range of 160-200 km, such as the AIM-120D-P3 and PL-15. Obviously, as you said, these range data are achieved under a very ideal state, such as launching from 30000 feet, lofting, and then diving at a target aircraft that is almost motionless, at low alttitue and flying towards the missile carrier fighter. Therefore, I will run the range simulation with the maximum range in their theoretical "no escape zone". I put this into practice in the test of overhauling PL-15. When I ran the simulation, I considered the maximum range to be 80KM. So in the actual game, if I want to hit a target 150 km away, I have to climb to more than 20,000 feet and launch the missile at a speed of Mach 1.3.The missile has almost lost most of its kinetic energy when it finally reaches the target. For me, it is an ideal state. Sadly, SF2's AI really doesn't seem to react too much to incoming AHMs (I don't know if that's possible),sometimes they don't even move ,therefore, it still has a higher probability of hitting. If I attack a target at 10,000 feet, 150 km away, and im flying tangentially from below 5,000 feet and at less than Mach 1, my missiles will hit almost nothing. -

When I was a kid, I always wanted to be an Air Force pilot. Perhaps unbelievably, the reason for all this is that I fell in love at first sight with the F-22 serving on the other side of the world. Unfortunately, for various reasons, it has become an eternal dream. As a child, I have been trying to fly the best jet in the world by games. The first flight sim I encountered was Novalogic's F-22, and then the F-22 Lightning 3 of the same series, when I stumbled across CombatAce and saw that WOE has the F-22 (apparently it was just a mod), I told myself that I was going to fall in love with this game. So yeah, it's just a story about love and love.

Great!I really need this! In the past, I have been unable to optimize the number of faces without destroying the surface mesh.

I looked at the current date, February 1st. Two two weeks have passed since the start of this thread. My life has been very busy in the past two months, although I still have time to play FPS occasionally, lol. Hope you lads and gents are all well and have a fulfilling and best 2024!
