I'll certainly test it out, though I have a bad track record for playing campaigns all the way through.

I'm loving the excellently rendered aircraft shadows, and the doppler shifted sound effects.

Thats like the deck hand that got sucked through the A-6 intake and ejected out the back. Not a good feeling, I would suspect.

What I've gleaned so far from the forums is that evidently a group of people think that SP4 is going to be sold, not free, so they compiled as many of the freely released models and artwork, etc, an tied it into a comprehensive and user friendly installer. Now, I don't know the details behind it all. I'm sure some people had there models released without their approval or consent. Then again, if they gave the models to the community for free, I can't see how they can get angry if due credit was given, which I believe it was. Also, as any of you know who have worked intimately with F4, its always been a big buggy pain. This was the first time I've ever had a painless install, no errors at all. To that, I give a big hearty <S!> As you can see, I do not know nearly as much about the situation as I could, but I would definately like to be filled in. This could blow up to be a major blow to F4, or it could jumpstart the community again.

What I meant was, do they include custom jobs for non F-16's, but I guess they don't. One thing that immediately impressed me, most aircraft have accurate guns. The F-100 has a nice set of 20mm's. I don't know if it really is any different, but it sounds different.

Holy moly, Batman! Thats awesome! Dusting off the Falcon 4.0 CD as we speak. Actually, its a pretty light coating, I normally don't put it down for long, lol. How are the cockpits though? Is it still the universal F-16?

As long as its a realistic FPS, like OpFlash and AAO. Those I can definately see being added. I'd like the site to stay primarily dedicated to flight sims especially, however.

Not when the window at which your mom was standing not even 15 seconds ago got completely shattered, with glass shards everywhere. That was the scarriest part. I mean, I'll agree that they are a neat phenomenon, but seriously, they are frightening as hell when you've got on bearing down.

Dude, one went down the street in front of my house back in '92. Only broke a couple windows, but down the street we had chimneys torn out and roofs demolished. Tornados scare the bejeezus out of me. They are kinda cool though, just from far away.

I definately want as many mods as possible released. Unfortunately, I completely hate the way CFS2 modding went. Theres a million crappy aircraft out there, and few packages or campaigns that coherently tie groups of them together. I want lots of new aircraft, but only if they are quality jobs with accurate flight models. A campaign that utilizes them would be nice as well.

Pretty sparse cockpit, wouldn't you think? Still and all, I'd love to fly the bird. I bet that long nose makes for some interesting landings. Not as bad as the Viggie though, lol.

Oh, definately. I didn't know it was being worked on. I certainly don't expect or want them to drop this project and move to another. That just promotes waste and crappy work. I'd love to see more quality airraft be developed. I wish there was some way to ensure quality control and accurate flight models though.

6 turnin, 4 burner. Tell ya what, I'd rather see the F-111 or B-47.

I'll agree with Dave on AD on this one. Most people here won't post if they don't know the answer or have anything constructive to say. On other boards though, posting "I don't know" is a frequent thing. It does make it seem like no one is listening sometimes though.

Inshore Boat Unit, in Iraq? I wonder how much action he sees, what kinda jobs he has to perform. Doesn't seem like Iraq is much of a river environment, even with the Tigres and Euphreates.

Does anybody have detailed information on this aircraft? Detailed 3-Views, Performance Charts, Technical Lists, anything of that sort? I'd appreciate whatever information I can get. Thanks
