If you have a Radeon card, just make sure you have the latest DirectX and Catalyst drivers. I updated to 'em and boom, great FPS with 4x FSAA and 4x AA. Gotta love my new Radeon 9800 PRO.

Yeah, I don't think so either. I like any of the missions involiving car chases, etc. I think you can do street racing somehwere in the game.

Snap, that extra 40% is from all sorts of stuff like doing all the vigalante, taxi and hosptial missions, doing all the nuique jumps in the game, all sorts of stuff. Try searching online for a GTAVC guide, thats what I did.

Jane's Longbow 2 and F/A-18E flight models and systems with LO-MAC and Il-2 Sturmovik: FB graphics. And as an addon, Raven Shield + Op-Flashpoint for when you have to eject or are shot down. For that matter, I want to see Raven Shield + Op-Flashpoint with a dynamic and continuous campaign system. Not pre-generated missions, but a live permanent environment.

Can you provide a link? I can't find an 'Upgrades' section at www.il2sturmovik.com, let alone a V1.9 patch. And why a 1.9 version number, considering unpatched Il-2:FB is at V1.0?

Yeah, I loved the USAF terrain. Thought the Vietnam terrain was the best, I aughta go back and check it out again. It is too bad that the creators of two competing sims can't collaborate and join the best parts of both. FS2x with X-Plane flight models... I wouldn't leave my house, ever.

Oh, everyone, about the Wright Brothers. Two years of AFJROTC has instilled in me a profound <brainwashing>. What was it, a 12 second flight, went 120 ft, Kitty Hawk, NC.... and for the life of me I can't remember the date. 1903, and January? The 12th? Dunno, I seem to remember lots of 12's.

Actually, MJ, I'lle probably wait a bit. I didn't snap up CFS3 and I'm very glad. That is one crap-tastic product. The MSF2x'ers have been pretty good though. Seriously though, am I the only one who gets turned off by the flight models? It really bugs me. I never fly anything but the stock Cessna and Baron because I feel everything else is just too phony. At least the Baron and 172 they can't screw up too bad. Its funny, I get immense satisfaction out of picking a couple of rural strips and doing some simple VFR navigation to and from. Don't know why, it is just an fun experience to me.

I have FS2k and FS2k2. I have to say, nothing out there better conveys the 'feeling' of flight, especially in the small general aircraft. The flight models aren't too great, compared to say X-Plane and Il-2, but the graphics are incredable. That is my only gripe with the product. If they could only have realistic flight models for all aircraft.

I need to change my Avatar. I need one of the Citadel and the Navy. Gues what guys! My vision is pilot qualified in the Navy! Not fighters, but helos and the like. And if I decide to do LASIK, it'll be fully qualified. Or, maybe there'll be something better in four years. Either way, I'm gonna fly. Halleluja!

I'm looking for something ala US Navy Fighters '97. I know, that old terrain is pretty bad, but I just enjoyed the feel of it. I want some nice muddy yellow brown rice paddy's, palm trees and lush jungle. Also, is it possible to modify the current trees into a single object of five or so trees? Like they've done in WWII Fighters?

I can't see how it would recognize your joystick as a PCI device. Do you have the latest version of DirectX installed?
