All right everyone please join me in congratulating the winner of the very first Combatace OFF skinning contest:

His amazing Se5a of Lt A P F Rhys Davids of 56 Sqn was the winner.

This skin was totally redone including all the details, wing ribbing stitching etc. He
even redid some cockpit textures!

It was a very close contest between several forum members and the voting was very close. There was even some thought in having several winners (that is how close it was).

Well gentlemen .... did you REALLY think it would be anything BUT the glorious and magnificent Se5a. The best kite ever designed in the whole wide world .... ever. Well perhaps I exaggerate. But she is a little beauty.

I just looked through all the skins. Wow, I can see why the judges had a tough time deciding on one winner. Absolutely fantastic work by all the skinners.

congrats fubar!

i don't have some tools to tweak skins. but if i would have, they would look like some drawings from a 3 year old child. i am amazed about everyone who has any kind of talent for drawings and paintings and stuff like this. especially such beautiful and detailed skins you all made. how you do it and how you make it look so great will always remain a mistery for me. i can understand why it was a hard desicion.

Stunning Skin (and was the skin I was 'most' worried about as a competitor!)

My sincere congratulations Fubar...... I am sure that we all look forward to more of your creative talent being shared with us.

And thanks to the guys at Combatace...the contest was very enjoyable, and really helped me to push forwards with skinning
