    1. MiG-23 cockpit fixes

Correction of typos and misspelling for Stary's MiG-23 pit. Plus reworked the HUD a little.
All files converted to JPG to save space, it's 46mb now. Tuned for Mirage Factory MiGs, but could be used for stock ones with little tweaking.
      Some changes of HUD:
Removed unnecessary ПР (launch authorized) marks - now it will flash only when you are actually in range
Changed ОТВ (break) - now it will flash when you are too close
Removed РЛ/ТП marks - they make no sense as the game doesn't support IRST. Now you will have Р (for search), З (for lock), B (for air-combat mode)
Changed selected weapon display - now you will have type of weapon and amount remaining. Not really authentic but more useful
      Things I couldn't do:
can't fix RWR - can't copy working RWR from MiG-21MF cockpit
MiG-29 pit has authentic and working selected weapon display - can't copy that
can't add proper IRST - game doesn't support it. tried with non-launching heatseeker missile on hidden pylon, it could lock targets but not really useful for anything else
      Readme inside.

    5. MiG-23 MF/ML/MLD/etc generic interceptor cockpit

      Update:
I forgot to mention in readme there is optional "icky green" textures set in it's folder for those who find this shade of blue not to their taste. Matter of copying that one into main cockpit folder and overwriting

This is fairly detailed cockpit representing somewhat "generic" MiG-23 interceptor cockpit. Fits well or "close enought" MF ML MLD etc interceptors series 1 and series 2 of Floggers.

Build for and tested with Eburger68&Team Floggers Pack:
      http://combatace.com/topic/66562-sf2-mig-23-mig-27-floggers-part-1/
      and subsequent parts

By default pre-set for use in MLD variant, so feel free to adjust to your favourite Flogger of choice. Do not use at the moment in the ground attack versions as dedicated BN cockpit is in the works

Read the included readme for more informations.

    6. Mig-23 MLA cockpit with working specific HUD- Mig-23MLA upgraded the ML version V1.3

This is the SFP1 series cockpit (version 1.0) for the Mig-23 version, the Mig-23MLA of the Mirage factory. First, download the Mirage factory Mig-23 package here:
      http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autoc...p;showfile=5211

Mig-23MLA cockpit additions made by Richard "Pitts2A" Ordway, Starfighter2, lindr2. Thanks to Armour Dave and Sal for the cockpit.

The Mig-23MLA was an improved version over the ML (better avionics)and was used by the Soviet Union and was exported.

The Mig-23 series was the most important Soviet fighter type from the mid-to-late 1970s.

      pilot report http://www.warbirdsofdelaware.com/Airplane...87/Default.aspx

      Directions:

      1) Back up your Mig-23MLA folder. If you have a Mig-23 MLA folder, this will overwrite almost everything in it.

      2) Just download the whole filefolder Mig-23MLA intact into your aircraft folder as one folder. It should work whether you have an existing Mig-23MLA or not.

      3) When asked to overwrite say yes.

      4) OPTIONAL: Add Nele's included accurate Mig-23MLA flight model/ (data.ini) which is in the NeilFlightModel folder called MiG-23MLA_data.ini. Just pop it in and overwrite when asked...back it up as always.

I personally strongly recommend it for getting an accurate feel of the Mig-23MLA according to the published reports I have researched...but its not for beginners.

V1.3- I added knobs under the warning panels, Neles avionics and gave the option for Nele's accurate Mig-23MLA flight model.

      Enjoy!

    7. Mig-23 MLD "Afghan Warrior" Skin

Soviet/Afghan AirForce Mig-23(MLD)'Afghan Warrior' skin for SF2(Any and all).

Skin to represent an example of the Mig-23(ML?) flown by the Soviet Air Force in Afghanistan during the invasion. The skin is based on a very old picture I found in an aircraft reference book.Since the photo is in Black and White and with a very high contrast, the aircrafts camo colours and serial numbers are based on speculation and every attempt has been made to make them look as close to the real world example,as possible.Historically,it has been speculated that a lot of Soviet Floggers and ground attack machines were painted with the shark mouth.A similar aircraft was rumored to have been shot down by a Pakistani F-16A Block 15.But,the wreckage as usual, fell inside Afghan territory and was never recovered hence, not giving much credibility to the claim.

This skin can only be used with the Mig-23 model made by TMF and only the sharp nosed one.For the model,I would suggest looking in the SFP1 section at many of Lindr2's mods(from which the base textures came). For starters,I would suggest this:http://combatace.com/files/file/11544-mig-23p-late/ (Though the cockpit may be a little advanced for the 80s).

NOTE:All the textures are in the BMP format and are of the 2048x2048 size.Users with slower machines may want to resize to half for optimal or even acceptable performance.

      Installation:
After unzipping Af_Vet,place the Folder inside the skins folder into the aircraft folder of your Mig-23.Note:If you do not know anything about the mod folder, the immediately stop the installation,go to the COmbatACE Forums,Go to the Strike Fighters 2 Knowledge Base and take a look at the thread explaining the Strike Fighters 2 mod folder mechanism.

      IMPORTANT:
I HEREBY CLAIM NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY OF THE CHANGES THIS MOD MAY RENDER TO YOUR GAME(Even though it doesn't).IF THIS MOD IS INSTALLED,THEN IT IS DONE ONLY BY THE WILL OF THE USER AND I CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING THAT HAPPENS.INSTALL AT YOUR OWN RISK.(The mod is perfectly safe, but I still claim no responsibility just to be safe!)

You have permission to modify these textures for your own mod(s) as long as I(lazarus1177) am acknowledged as the original author.THIS MOD IS RELEASED AS FREEWARE AND MUST BE USED,DISTRIBUTED AND TREATED AS SUCH.

I you have any questions or queries about any of my Mod(s),then I can be contacted at the Combatace forum.

    10. MiG-23 Yuke skin pack

      TW Yuktobanian MiG-23 skin pack

This skin pack is for the TW MiG-23s, I have a full-5 merged installation and Expansion packs 1 and 2, and I don't know which MiG-23s are added in every installation and Expansion pack, so I apologise. But it will work with every MiG-23 (except the MiG-23MS). This pack also includes pits (by ordway) to automatically make the planes flyable.

      -Special thanks:
-TK for the SF sims and MiG-23s
      -ordway for the pits.

Note: The MiG-23 doesn't appear in any Ace Combat. I made this because I plan on making a Ace Combat-based skin for every plane, and possibly some unique terrains from different ACs.

    11. MiG-23_WOI_modified_FMs_from_neles_data.rar

OK - here are 2 DATA.INI files that I've modded for MiG-23s in WOI.

They are modified from the stock WOI MiG-23BN_DATA.INI and stock MiG-23MF_DATA.INI and I've copied and pasted in the relevant FM parts from nele's MiG-23MF_DATA.INI at http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autoc...p;showfile=4565 .

I've flown them a bit and they seem OK but use them at your own risk.

All credit for the FM content should go to nele who did all the outstanding work creating the data in the first place.

      To install:
      a) Copy the MiG-23BN_DATA.INI file to the Objects\Aircraft\MiG-23BN folder backing up any existing files before you do so.
      b) Copy the MiG-23MF_DATA.INI file to the Objects\Aircraft\MiG-23MF folder backing up any existing files before you do so.

      Cheers,

    12. MiG-23-11 Flogger Prototype

      MiG-23-11  Flogger Prototype
This mod is based on the serial MiG-23S created by ArmourDave and The Mirage Factory.
      History
The prototype 23-11 flew without weapons, and on the prototype 23-12 they worked out the placement of K-23 complex   2 missiles on pylons under the wing and 2 missiles  under the engine’s air intakes according to the scheme semi-recessed. On production aircraft, only 2 R-23 missiles were left under the wing on the pylon, but not semi-recessed R-23 missiles. The aircraft is presented in 2 colors of the Mikoyan Design Bureau prototype n 231 and 232
I changed the speed settings at which the wing is rearranged from 16 degrees to 45 and from 45 to 72
      from 16 lo 45 ---- speed 270-290 km \ h
      45 to 72--- 0.95-0,97 Mach
      Wing 72 for supersonic only
Now all the main evolution in battle takes place on the wing of 45 degrees, whose more realistic
