  7. A DFW skin in the blue version of the naval 3-color hexagon camo, for use by Marinekorps Flandern. This isn't any specific plane, but the paint scheme is based on 1 interpretation of German naval colors. The bogus aircaft number 3841 is my signature. That was my ID number in the old DOS MMOFS Air Warrior and I kept it through the years in Warbirds and Aces High.

NOTE: Since making this skin, I have come to the conclusion that it's rather inaccurate in both colors and hex size. However, it looks cool so I decided to leave it up here for them as like it.

Now includes text file with OBD credit for original skin.

While RedDog's SPAD is a historical 1919 SPAD XIII design, I only got inspired by that idea,
but wanted to get it a bit less bold than the original. Enjoy!

  10. A Fokker D.VII in what I believe is accurate pre-printed naval hex colors. For use with the Marineflieger squadrons.

  11. After a lot more research, I totally re-did the paintjob of my naval DFW skin. Now it looks (I THINK) about as realistic as possible, per Dan-San Abbott's information. Hand-painted, symmetrical hexes in hopefully the right colors, and the correct colors on the fuselage and rudder.

But for those of you who prefer the apparently inaccurate "blue" version, it's still available here.

Now includes text file with OBD credit for original skin.

  12. A humorous skin for FE.2b. The "Fast Extinction, Too" has had a hard life and has had major surgery several times, including a wingtip covered in a table cloth from the mess. This has given everybody concerned with the machine a bad attitude, which they have expressed with anachronistic, mutinous graffiti and bumper stickers.

Now includes text file with OBD credit for original skin.

  13. 6 Sqn had their start as an Australian Flying Corps squadron in 1917. Their aircraft were attired in a broad red band with a white stylised kangaroo on top of it.

Auffarth transferred to flying fighters with Prussian Jasta 18 and recorded his first victory with them on September 16, 1917.On the last day of that month, he became an ace. He then transferred to Prussian Jasta 29. He scored a victory with them on November 13 and was appointed commanding officer on the 19th, as an Oberleutnant and would lead the squadron for almost a year. He accumulated victories erratically until his total stood at 20 on September 3, 1918, at which time he was recommended for the Pour le Merite. Becoming Commander of Jagdgruppe Nr. 3, he turned over command of Jasta 29 on 28 September.
