    4. Test Range

      SF1 Bombing Range with some new skins and features.

      This may copy over your original Bombing Range so please backup your files.

      The Bombing Range is one of the best place to hone your Air to Ground skills, with open desert ranges for no speed limit restrictions. Firstly I tried to merge the tiles from the Nellis range to match up with this terrain but it turned out looking like a patchwork blanket so I used JSF_Aggie's desert tiles. The only new tiles are the Desert Residential areas for a more realistic look. US flag is a nice touch to the Test Pilot School, also the Strafe Targets have been moved to the south of the weapons test area.

      Have fun out over the Test Range

    5. F-86_Sabre_Pack_1_for_SF1

      F-86 Sabre Skins Pack 1 for SF1
      Four F-86 Sabre clean skins:
      1 = 3-tone Desert Camo - Fictional
      1 = 2-tone Desert Camo - Fictional
      1 = 3-tone SEA Camo - Semi-Fictional
      1 = Silver - Non-Fictional

      These skins are fairly clean as I'm not very good at weathering so feel free to add your own dirt.

      They were made using my F-86 Sabre/FJ-3 Fury templates. They are in .bmp format for SF1 but they might work in SF2 with a bit of tweaking.

      They use a mixture of default and other Sabre/Fury skin decals. As I can't release other peoples decals without their consent, you will need to find some of the decals in other Sabre/Fury releases.

      There is included a clean skin for those that wish to use it. Just drop it into your existing Tank_F86 weapons folder. Overwrite when asked.

      INSTALLATION: Unzip to a folder/place of your choice. Copy, Move, Drag-n-Drop or do whatever you wish to get the skins folders into your F-86 aircraft folder.

      They were inspired by:

    6. FJ-3M_Fury_Pack_1_for_SF1

      FJ-3M Fury Skins Pack 1 for SF1

      You will need the columns5's FJ-3M Fury mod to Zur's F-86 Sabre for these skins here:
      http://combatace.com/files/file/525-fj-3m-fury-addon/

      Five FJ-3M Fury clean skins:

      1 = VF84 - FJ-3M - Repaint of pappychksix/Wrench's VF-84 skin.
      1 = VMF232 - FJ-3M - Semi-Fictional Repaint of David "USAFMTL" Slavens' FJ-4B DBF skin.
      1 = VMF312- FJ-3M - Repaint of pappychksix/Wrench's VMF-312 skin.
      1 = USN Blue Camo - Fictional - FJ-3M - Repaint of Mitch's F-86F_German skin.
      1 = VMF122 - FJ-2 - Semi Fictional Repaint of VMF122 standalone skin I have but I don't know where I got it or who the original author is. If anyone know's whose skin this is, please tell me so I can credit them. VMF-122 actually used this skin on their FJ-3's. I wanted an FJ-2 Fury to compliment the Navy Blue Phantoms, Banshees, Skyraiders, etc. of the Korean War era. So I downgraded a FJ-3M to an FJ-2.

      DECALS: These skins use a mixture of default and other Fury skin decals. As I can't release other peoples decals without their consent, you will need to find some of the decals in other Fury releases. PM me if you need help with these.

      For the VF-84 and VMF-312 skins, use the decals from pappychksix's Fury Package here:
      http://combatace.com/files/file/2255-fury-package/ ... OR ... Wrench's SF2 FJ-3M Package here: http://combatace.com/files/file/12233-fj-3m-fury-by-zur-and-co-for-sf2/

      For the VMF232 skin I have NO idea where I got the decals to use for this skin. But probably from pappychksix/Wrench's Fury packs. Choose your own.

      For the USN Blue Camo fictional skin, use which ever declas you like. I used TW default decals for my skin and probably some from pappychksix/Wrench's Fury packs.

      For the VMF122 skin ... I have a stand alone VMF122 skin I repainted. I think I used the decals from this original skin. I used VMF232 numbers, but you can use whichever you wish. The problem is the original skin doesn't have a readme and I can't find where I got it from. Anyone who know's the original author please pm me where it can be found so I can post that information here.

      These skins are fairly clean as I'm not very good at weathering so feel free to add your own dirt. To repaint some of these skins such as the VF-84, VMF232 and VMF312, I had to paint over the existing paint to eliminate the old panel lines and rivets. Unfortunately, this means I also painted over the great weathering on these skins. I apologize to the artists of the original skins.

      They were made using my F-86 Sabre/FJ-3 Fury templates. They are in .bmp format, 2048x2048 for SF1 but they might work in SF2 with a bit of tweaking. You can of course make them smaller if your computer can't handle the large size. If you have trouble making them smaller, pm me and I'll see what I can do.

      There is included a clean drop tank skin for those that wish to use it. Just drop it into your existing Tank_F86 weapons folder. Overwrite when asked. Also a clean skin for the FJ-2 Navy Blue VMF-122 Tank-FJ2.

      INSTALLATION: Unzip to a folder/place of your choice. Copy, Move, Drag-n-Drop or do whatever you wish to get the skins folders into your FJ-3M aircraft folder. If you want the blue FJ-2 VMF-122 drop tank, you will have to add the Weapondata entry to your install's weapondata.ini and run the weapon editor. Drop the Tank_FJ2.bmp and Tank_FJ2.lod into your weapons folder.

      They were inspired by:

    7. 3 Fictional Sabre/Fury Planes for SF1

      2 Fictional Sabres and 1 Fictional Fury for SF1

      You will need columns5's FJ-3M Fury from here: http://combatace.com/files/file/525-fj-3m-fury-addon/

      This pack contains files to convert the FJ-3M Fury to:

      1 - A USN FJ-3B Attack Fury, a fictionalized version of the real USN FJ-4B Fury ground attack variant of the FJ-4 Fury - capable of carrying AGM-12B Bulpup Air-to-Ground missiles; Aero 7D_FFAR Pods; AIM-9B Air-to-Air Missles; various and sundry bombs, rocketpods, etc....

      2 - An F-86B Attack Sabre. The USAF version of the above USN FJ-3B ground attack jet.

      3 - An F-86G Sabre. The USAF version of the FJ-3M - 4x20mm nose guns and 2xAIM9B Air-to-Air missiles.

      You will need to install the FJ-3M for each of the above planes you want to install. If you want to install all three planes, you will need to install the FJ-3M three times.

      INSTALLATION:
      Install the FJ-3M once and rename the installed FJ-3M folder to FJ-3B.

      Install another FJ-3M and rename that folder to F-86B.
      Install one more FJ-3M and rename that folder to F-86G.
      Drop the corresponding folders from this pack into the newly created FJ-3B, F-86B and F-86G folders and overwrite the old files when asked.

      To add extra pylons for the FJ-3B and F-86B I used ravenclaw_007's execellent F-86 Bomb Rack weapon from his Canadair CL-13B Mk6 Sabre early or Canadair CL-13B Mk6 Sabre late.
      They can be found here: http://combatace.com/files/file/7387-canadair-cl-13b-mk6-sabre-late/ and here: http://combatace.com/files/file/7384-canadair-cl-13b-mk6-sabre-early/. Either one will do as they both have the F-86 Bomb Rack.
      They are also both execllent planes and if you haven't flown them you are missing out on two of the best F-86 versions available at CA.

      You must install the bomb rack as a weapon. The necessary lod's, ini's, weapon data entries and instructions are in ravenclaw_007's download.

      You will need to ensure you have the necessary weapons, ie. AGM-12B, AIM-9B, Aero 7D_FFAR Pod, etc. Look in the *_loadout.ini files to see what weapons are needed. Most are found in common weapons packs or are already default weapons.

      Included in this pack are the relevant .ini files to convert the FJ3M. Also included are an FJ-3B skin for VA-146, a real FJ-4B unit and two skins for the the F-86B/G models. VA-146 skin was created by me. The F-86 SEA skin was inspired by Dave's/Wrench's SEA F-86 skin.

      Decals are, for the most part, default. They will depend on which SF1 install you put these planes in. You may end up changing some of the numbers.

      Thanks to Dave "USAFMTL" Slavens for the idea. Years ago he created an FJ-4B fury from a FJ-3M. I found it at AVSIM while browsing the ancient Strike Fighters section.
      Thanks to ravenclaw_007 for the F-86 Bomb Rack that makes the 'B models possible.
      Thanks to Zur and column5 for the FJ-3M Fury.
      And thanks to all those that have inspired and coached me to be able to do this.

      If I forget or miss anyone who deserves credit for anything I release, I apologize. I have no intent to abuse or misuse anyone's property or claim it as my own. Please contact me to correct any error.

      If you find any problems with this release, please PM me. If you improve it, please PM me a copy. Any questions, PM me.

      I'm releasing this under the Combat Ace Fair Use Agreement. Use it anyway you wish for personal use. For any other use, please contact me first.

      UH-34 Skin Template
      -------------------------
      In this package you will find 2 psd i made to create new skins.

      These are not actual templates per se, you will not find any panel lines layer for example.

      I just duplicated the original skin, and changed hue/saturation/luminosity (CTRL+U, using photoshop) in order to get the proper tone.
      Paste a new layer over it, containing the internals of the original skin and Voilà...!

      I included 3 layers with different hues (blue, white and yellow).

      THIS PACKAGE DOES NOT INCLUDE YAP FILES IT ONLY CONTAINS SKINS FOR THE YAP MODEL.

    11. SF2 WW2 SAAF Fury - East Africa

      Hawker Fury MkII
      SAAF No.2 Squadron

      For use with the A-Team Fury MkII. Some elements of Charles' original skin have been retained.

      The Hawker Fury was still in service with the South African Air Force at the start of WWII. Due to aircraft shortages, the Fury was used in mixed squadrons during 1940 in East Africa. As it was too slow to catch the more modern Italian aircraft, the Fury was mainly used in the close support role.

    13. Airfield Approach Ligths

      This is my version of airfield approach lights for SF1 series. I gathered already existing airfield approach lights from http://combatace.com/files/file/1866-runway-approach-lights/ uploaded by HrntFixr and from http://combatace.com/files/file/1866-false/uploaded by the same Submitter (no modifications were made with his work, just changing the time of lights on and off), and mixed them with German airbases, Soviet airbases, Desert airfields and VietnamSEA airfields. I made small edits with time the lights are on and off and now a compromise was found between the time the lights are switched on and off: now the lights are switched on after 4.00 PM and off after 8.00 AM, that was done for having the lights always on in the inclement weather, the lights are on 24 hours in the inclement weather so now it is not difficult to find the airfield and land in the inclement weather. The images show the airfield approach lights at their finest! I specially uploaded many screenshots with various aircrafts to show how these lights transform and make more realistic the overall picture of this fantastic game!

      These are complete airfields inis - no need to change anything inside the same, just copy and paste into your terrains. Backup your airfield inis before you drop these ones if you do not like them and do not want to use anymore. Hope you will like it!

      This is my first work I share with gamers of this fantastic game! J

      Backup your airfield inis in your terrains before installation. Just drop these inis into your terrains. Be careful that each terrain has own specific airfield inis: German and Soviet airbases for GermanCE, Black Sea, Kamchatka terrains etc., Desert airfields for IsraelME, Libya terrains etc., VietnamSEA airfield for DRV. Probably it will be compatible with SF2 series terrains as well.
      Please try yourselves.

    16. MirageIIICJ_Shahak_Loading_screens 2560x1440

      This is a pack for people who want diversity when it comes to an aircraft loading screen and use a UHD monitor which can handle 2560x1440 resolutions. This pack is designed for the Israeli Mirage IIICJ Shahak. I was inspired by the "Six day warriors" Deuces work.

      Instructions:

      I made this pack for the SF1_WOI game but it should work with the other SF1_X games, as well. Just unzip the pack and choose a picture you like. Change its name into Shahak_Loading.bmp and place it into /Wings over Israel/Objects/Aircraft/Shahak/ folder. That's it. Start the game and when the game will load the mission, presuming you will choose to fly a Mirage IIICJ Shahak single player random generated mission, you will see this screen. I hope you will enjoy it.
      You can use my mod in your projects but you must add me to the credit list.

      This is a skin for F-14A model and it's inspired from the real camo of some iranian F-14A (see the main shot in photo gallery). It should work with the F-14D as well. The skin is a remake of the original one, credits for the original skin goes to the real author, of course.
      You may use the skin in your future projects but don't forget to add me to the credits list.

    21. F-15E Strike Eagle_Radar AESA_SFP1 Y SFG

      F-15E Strike Eagle by Kaiser1

      ESPAÑOL

      Versión del F-15 adaptado a cazabombardero todo tiempo, cuando entró en servicio en la USAF, los F-15E fueron dotados de un radar AN/APG 70 del tipo multimodo (impulsos Doppler+banda X), después de servir en varios escenarios de combate, la USAF pidió una modernización en su aviónica a Boeing, el cual junto con Raytheon, remplazaron los APG 70 por radares tipo AESA de barrido electrónico activo, los AN/APG 82 V1, que contaban con varias cualidades superiores que sus antecesores.

      Esta versión del F-15E esta desarrollada sobre la base de la versión F-15E Strike Eagle V1.3 de Dave con permisos otorgados, intentando mejorar la aviónica de los F-15E y dotarlos de una cabina propia y correspondiente.

      El F-15E proporciona las siguiente mejoras:
      3 pantallas MFD con la información necesaria para el piloto virtual. Versión de radar lo mas fiel al AN/APG 82 V1. Identificador IFF (Amigo-Enemigo), en la pantalla del radar los enemigos aparecen de color AMARILLO y los amigos de color AZUL (solo en modo TWS-Track While Scan). El APG 82 tiene una ventana de escaneo de 120° y un rango de alcance de 160. Versatilidad de armamento tanto aire-aire como aire-superficie. Muestreo de rangos para misiles AA de radar activo y semiactivo.

      En fase de pruebas de combate consiguió victorias contra J10A y MiG-35 Fulcrum F.

      Agradecimientos a Dave y el equipo de trabajo del F-15E V1.3, a CombatACE, al grupo Strike Fighters Series y sus modeladores.

    22. WOV Hangar and Loading Screens Part 1

      This is the first part of my Wings Over Vietnam Hangar and Loading Screen Pack. I tried to gather as many images as I could, in order to succeed maximum historical accuracy and high resolution. Thus, I have included quite a few options for each aircraft.

      I tried to provide screens for most aircraft used in the Vietnam war that are also available in the Strike Fighters 1 Series or addons.

      Thanks to the WOV Expansion Pack Team for the wonderful idea with the F-4D Night Owl Loading Screen. They gave me an inspiration for making two of my own Loading Screens of this type (one for the AC-130A and one more for the F-4D Night Owl).

      I hope you enjoy.

      More packs coming soon.

      Installation:

      BACKUP the original files first. Then enter the main .ini file for each aircraft, copy the name of the Hangar Screen and rename the .bmp file. Same with the Loading Screen.
