By EricJThis is a prototype scheme of the F/A-18 Super Hornet, E4. Not much else but the skin is What You See Is What You Get as the original files for this aircraft were lost, so I'm just getting unused skins that are complete out to the public. Simply drop this in your FA-18E_BlkI folder and go fly. Can be found under the drop down menu as "E4 Prototype"
By EricJThis skin represents "VFA-163", which was featured in the movie Behind Enemy Lines. Simply drop in the FA-18F_BlkII folder and go fly. It can be found under VFA-163.
By EricJFor the F-31A Mustang II that exists on this site. It's just a simple Mod Eagle scheme that uses the same decals as the base 421st TFS skin. Just drop in the folder and go fly. Just select 421st TFS, 388th TFW Mod Eagle in the drop down menu and go fly.
By WrenchSF2 VF-114 F-4B (65) Phantom Skin/Decal Pack by Mytai 9/4/2019
= For SF2 (Any & All, Full-5 Merged Prefered) and/or SF2:V =
*Can be used in any install that has access to the F-4B_65 which is stock in all merged installs, excepting SF2:I (well, actually it's probably there as well!).
This a new build of Mytai01's 1stGen skin for VF-114 Aardvarks durning 1965/66 Southeast Asia cruise about USS Kittyhawk as part of CVW-11 (tail code NH). This is within the time frame of the camo experiments the USN was conduction, as many of the aircraft aboard were using this 2-tone green camo. Records seem to indicate VF-114 did not. The aircraft remains in the standard Gull Gray/White scheme. With this skin set, you should have all the strike/fighter/attack aircraft of CVW-11 for this cruise.
The skin is in jpg format, 2048x, from Sundowner's templates. Mytai's original decal have been 'refershed' to remove any oddites or edge 'ghosting'. Decal randomization is TRUE. Also included, within the skin folder, are all of Mytai's original research material that came with the 1stGen Package. This includes photos and other text files.
Also included are slightly modified data and loadout ini that correct a few little faults. Wingfold and canopy are now manually activated, using the Standard Animations Keystrokes (tm); shift/9 for wings, shift/0 (zero) for canopy. Lighting has been tweeked so the wing lights follow the wing when folding/unfolding. A landing light and the 3 approach lights have also been added (see "Notes" for more details).
When in-game, on the Loadout Screen, on the skin selection dropdown you'll see:
VF-114 Aardvarks 65 (Mytai)
As the Aardvarks are a unit listed in the stock squadron list ini, decals are set to make the displayed name active.
As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them ....
New Version Uploaded 10/2/2019:
Fixed typo in decals ini
*** F-4J Skin Pack 1
This includes the following skins, for the F-4J:
-VF-21 USS Ranger '73
-VF-154 USS Ranger '73
-VF-41 USS Roosevelt '73
-VF-84 USS Roosevelt '73
-VF-92 USS Constellation '73
-VF-114 USS Kitty Hawk '73
-VF-213 USS Kitty Hawk '73
-VF-142 USS America '74
-VF-143 USS America '74
Most of the BuNo's are correct.
*** Install Instructions
Copy the Objects directory into your MOD folder, letting it overwrite
Optional, but recommended:
Install Sundowner's F-4J redux, so you'll have bump maps that match
Sundowner's 2048x2048 templates where used.
I used MyTai's tail decals for the VF-84.
Don't release any of this in PayWare!!!
By EricJThis was an F/A-18B aasigned to NSAwC and used as an adversary aircraft. Drop it in your FA-18B folder and go fly. It can be found under NSAWC "Topgun" in the selection menu.
By EricJI'm not sure if it was an F/A-18B or D that this skin goes on, but in either case drop this in the appropriate folder and go fly. In the drop down menu it is under VFA-125 Desert
By EricJThis skin is a "best fit" skin to the Hornet Team F/A-18D. To install the skin simply drop in the FA-18D folder and go fly. It can be found under VMFA(AW)-225 in the dropdown menu.
By EricJThis is the F/A-18C version of VFA-94 on its 2005 cruise. The FA-18 series by the Hornet Team is required for this skin, and drop this skin in the FA-18C_03 directory and go fly. The VFA-195 decals are required (should be part of the pack already) for the correct modex for the aircraft.
By EricJThis skin represents the line jets of VFA-94 in May 2019. All necessary files are included, and the folder layout is just as it needs to be, with all the appropriate directories laid out for installation. In the drop down menu for the aircraft, select VFA-94 2019 and go fly
By EricJThis is a skin depicting the CAG jet of VFA-94 in March 2017.
To use this simply drop in your FA-18F_BlkII folder and go fly, it can be found under VFA-94 CAG March 2017
By EricJThis is a skin depicting the CAG jet of VFA-136 during I believe 2011 or so. Since I'm going off of a few reference shots (thanks to Svetlin for a handy reference file) it is the best I can manage with what I have, so it should be close enough.
Simply add to the FA-18E_BlkII folder and go fly. Name on the dropdown menu is VFA-136 CAG 2011
By kblomkvistHere's my set of 3 what-if aggressor skins for the F-23A Black Widow II by Dels. The background story is simple: what if the USAF decided to choose the F-23 instead of F-22 and what if they bought a lot of them, enough to form the aggressor squadrons too?
You need to download and install the aircraft if you want the skins to work. It's available here:

By WrenchSF2 A-4C(65) VA-113 'Stingers' Camo Skin Pack 9/4/2019
-For SF2, Any and All (Full Merged Reccomended)
This is a new skin for the A-4C_65 Skyhawk, representing VA-113 "Stingers" during their Oct 1965-June 1966 deployment in South East Asia aboard USS Kitty Hawk. They were painted in an experimental 2-tone green camoflague, as were many other aircraft of CVW-11 at this time.
The skin is in jpg format, in 2048x, from Nyghtfall's templates. 12 95% historically accurate Bunum decals are included. Decal randomization is TRUE. On the number list, those marked with a star (*) represent a combat or operational loss. The single number marked with the cross (+) is "best guess", as the squadron listing did =NOT= have a BuNum for A/C 305. The SF2 Date switch is NOT used; you will have to select this skin for each member of you flight.
When in-game, on the aircraft selection drop down, Skin selection window you'll see:
VA-113 (Camo 1965-66)
As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions.
By paulopanzIn the '50 several south american countries entered in jet age with the Shooting Star
This huge skinpack portaits these airforces:
- Brazil (33 delivered starting in 1958, withdrawn from service in 1973)
- Chile (30 delivered from 1958 on, last ones retired from service in 1974)
- Colombia (16 delivered starting in 1958, retired by 1966)
- Ecuador (16 delivered between 1957 and 1960, six returned to the United States in 1965)
- Peru (16 delivered starting in 1958, the type was phased out in 1973)
- Uruguay (17 delivered, withdrawn from use in 1971)
Why this little, quite heavy (see the FACh camo skin ...) effort?
Because this is a fantastic, maybe underated, model made by great 3D master Erikgen and these exotic skins are pretty. (Aren't they?)
<ENRICO CI MANCHI!>
- 13 new skins
- Historical Serial numbers
- Brazilian Playcards ...
- Enrico Gennari aka "EriKgen" plane model
- Kenin Stein aka "Wrench" original FAC skin used as a base from my own house templates
- Geary aka "Geary" for some layers I was able to extract from his temps I couldn't use due my old PS suite
- You must have Erikgen F-80C installed
- deliver all files inside "to mod folder" folder to your own mod folder (isn't it easy?)
Carpe diem .... and fly higher and higher, please.
Generic SEA camouflage textures for the Blackburn Buccaneer.
Textures only, no inis, or decals are provided.
This would be suitable for anyone wanting to make a USAF or an RNZAF Buccaneer.
Day and night SEA camouflage is provided.
For anyone interested in the RAAF Buccaneer, these screenshots serve as a preview of the SEA part of that package. I am currently working on loadouts with US weapons, which are more appropriate for the RAAF.
Use these textures in a complete skin for the Blackburn Buccaneer. The texture labelled "Tail RWR" is used for versions with the RWR bullet on top of the fin. Credits
Just something I whipped up real fast after I saw the loading screen of the renewed F-4G (65-66 USN)...
I noticed it wasn't overall green, but resembled the lizard scheme very much. So I fiddled around with
some different available skins (I think the lizard skin is TW and other parts came from the green standard skin of the aircraft)
and quickly made this to add some variation in an almost real life manner...
Credits and thanks to Wrench and Kevin Stein for the F-4G USN
By kblomkvistHere's my black and green camo skin for Julhelm's F-19 'Ghostrider' a.k.a. 'Flying Frisbee'. It is based ont the description of F-19 form Tom Clancy's novel titled "Red Storm Rising" in which it was depicted as black and green. You need to download and install the aircraft first to run the skins, it's available here:

Copy the current pack objects/aircraft folders in your game P-51D aircraft folder.
Copy the current pack objects/decals folder in your game P-51D decals folder.
Copy the content of the P-51.ini to the game P-51D aircraft folder and change TextureSet number in consequence.
RCAF serials and plane numbers are real one's within their respective squadron's. Exception is when lettering is used it's far from relevant :).

By dtmdragonHere is a rehash/ edit of some old RAAF Hornet skins to create a set of skins for the SF2 FA-18C, FA-18A or CF-18 (from NF4) which are all available here at combatACE.
There are two sets of skins for No. 3 Squadron in low and high vis for the SF2 F/A-18A or C or CF-18
Also included is a skin for the new RAAF F/A-18F Super Hornet.
Credit goes to all those that have done an F/A-18 or RAAF skin in the past.
Simply drop the files in the correct location specified by the name of the folder they are in.
