This is the F/A-18C version of VFA-94 on its 2005 cruise. The FA-18 series by the Hornet Team is required for this skin, and drop this skin in the FA-18C_03 directory and go fly. The VFA-195 decals are required (should be part of the pack already) for the correct modex for the aircraft.

This is a skin depicting the CAG jet of VFA-136 during I believe 2011 or so. Since I'm going off of a few reference shots (thanks to Svetlin for a handy reference file) it is the best I can manage with what I have, so it should  be close enough.
Simply add to the FA-18E_BlkII folder and go fly. Name on the dropdown menu is VFA-136 CAG 2011

    7. SF2 What-if F-23A Aggressor skins

Here's my set of 3 what-if aggressor skins for the F-23A Black Widow II by Dels. The background story is simple: what if the USAF decided to choose the F-23 instead of F-22 and what if they bought a lot of them, enough to form the aggressor squadrons too?
You need to download and install the aircraft if you want the skins to work. It's available here:

    8. SF2 A-4C(65) VA-113 'Stingers' Camo Skin Pack

      SF2 A-4C(65) VA-113 'Stingers' Camo Skin Pack             9/4/2019
-For SF2, Any and All (Full Merged Reccomended)
This is a new skin for the A-4C_65 Skyhawk, representing VA-113 "Stingers" during their Oct 1965-June 1966 deployment in South East Asia aboard USS Kitty Hawk. They were painted in an experimental 2-tone green camoflague, as were many other aircraft of CVW-11 at this time.
The skin is in jpg format, in 2048x, from Nyghtfall's templates. 12 95% historically accurate Bunum decals are included. Decal randomization is TRUE. On the number list, those marked with a star (*) represent a combat or operational loss. The single number marked with the cross (+) is  "best guess", as the squadron listing did =NOT= have a BuNum for A/C 305. The SF2 Date switch is NOT used; you will have to select this skin for each member of you flight.
When in-game, on the aircraft selection drop down, Skin selection window you'll see:
      VA-113 (Camo 1965-66)
As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions.

    9. Lockheed F-80C Shooting Star - Export Workshop

In the '50 several south american countries entered in jet age with the Shooting Star
This huge skinpack portaits these airforces:
      - Brazil  (33 delivered starting in 1958, withdrawn from service in 1973)
      - Chile  (30 delivered from 1958 on, last ones retired from service in 1974)
      - Colombia  (16 delivered starting in 1958, retired by 1966)
      - Ecuador  (16 delivered between 1957 and 1960, six returned to the United States in 1965)
      - Peru   (16 delivered starting in 1958, the type was phased out in 1973)
      - Uruguay  (17 delivered, withdrawn from use in 1971)
Why this little, quite heavy (see the FACh camo skin ...) effort?
Because this is a fantastic, maybe underated, model made by great 3D master Erikgen and these exotic skins are pretty. (Aren't they?)

Generic SEA camouflage textures for the Blackburn Buccaneer.
Textures only, no inis, or decals are provided.
This would be suitable for anyone wanting to make a USAF or an RNZAF Buccaneer.
Day and night SEA camouflage is provided.
For anyone interested in the RAAF Buccaneer, these screenshots serve as a preview of the SEA part of that package. I am currently working on loadouts with US weapons, which are more appropriate for the RAAF.
      Installation Instructions
Use these textures in a complete skin for the Blackburn Buccaneer. The texture labelled "Tail RWR" is used for versions with the RWR bullet on top of the fin.  Credits

    11. Alternative F-4G(B) skin

      Hi,

Just something I whipped up real fast after I saw the loading screen of the renewed F-4G (65-66 USN)...
I noticed it wasn't overall green, but resembled the lizard scheme very much. So I fiddled around with
some different available skins (I think the lizard skin is TW and other parts came from the green standard skin of the aircraft)
and quickly made this to add some variation in an almost real life manner...

    17. SF2 F-86A Sabre, 1st Fighter Group Skin Pack

      SF2 F-86A Sabre, 1st Fighter group Skin Pack       7/24/2019
-For SF2, Any and All (Full Merged Recommended)
This is a NEW skin pack for the F-86A Sabre. It is designed to be used on the F-86A-5 available from SF2 KAW Sabres Pack. The Sabre(s) are to be found at the following URL:
      https://combatace.com/files/file/13604-sf2-korean-war-era-f-86-sabre-pak/
**Be advised! These are for CONUS based Sabres ONLY!! Do =not= use this set within your KAW mods folder! You are advised to have the aircraft installed into another mods folder for proper year-span & theatre usage.**
This skin set represents the 3 squadrons of the 1st Fighter Group in 1949 when they received the first operational F-86A Sabres at March AFB, and later based George AFB here in California. In the 1950s, the squadrons were dispersed across the US in the Air Defence role, but that's another story.
      The squadrons are:
94th FIS "Hat in the Ring"
      27th FIS "Fighting Eagles"
      71st FIS "The Ironmen"
The skins are in jpg format, and each have 26 all NEW serial number decals.  On the number list for each squadron (individial aircraft serial) drop down, any serial marked with a star (*) has been positively identified as having served in that squadron. Those marked with a cross/plus sign, (+) have been identified as having been assigned to the 1st FG. Those without any markings are generic F-86A serials. It should be noted, due to a lack of a full squadron roster, some of the serials will be repeated across all three squadrons. This could not be helped. ALL markings are decals, expecially the squadron flashes on the fuselage. Other squadron markings, the tail bands, are painted on for each squadron.
On the skin selection menu, on the Loadout Page, you'll see:
      94th FIS, 1st FG (49-54)
      27th FIS, 1st FG (49-54)
      71st FIS, 1st FG (49-54)
As the game tends to order things by number in the aircraft main ini (F-86A.ini), you may want to edit them into the order shown above. The 94th was the first operational unit, followed by the 27th, and lastly the 71st.
The SF2 "date switch" =IS= active on this skin. It will automatically be chosen as the default skin(s) from 1949. As these units were never deployed outside the Continental US, it is NOT reccomended they be used in your KAW install.
As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for the install instructions. For more information on the 1st FG, you are encouraged to look up it's long and distinguished history from World War 1 to the Present Day.
As an added bonus, a one sheet "expliotation" comic-style jpg is enclosed in the main aircraft folder. It's from one of the Hollywood "newspapers" (read: tabloids) of the time. I stumbled across it, and now share it with you all!!

      Happy Landings!

    18. SF2 P-47N Thunderbolt Post WW2 USAAF/USAF & Air National Guard Skins Pack

      SF2 P-47N Thunderbolt Post WW2 USAAF/USAF & Air National Guard Skins Pack       6/20/2019
-For SF2, (Full 5 Merged Reccomended)-
This is a package for post-WW2 and Air National Guard squadrons that flew the P/F-47N Thunderbolt in the years from 1946-1954. These are for V.2 of Russ's N-Jug. All skins are in jpg format.
You can find Version 2.0 of Russ' P-47N at the following URL:
      https://combatace.com/files/file/13202-p-47n-157z/
The skins included herein for Regular USAAF/USAF units are:
      37th/48th/49th FS, 14th FG
      99th/100th/301st FS, 477th CG/332nd FG
The other skins included here are for the Air National Guards of the following states:
      Connecticut
      Delaware
      Georgia
      Hawaii (Territory of)
      Massachusetts
      Pennsylvania
      Puerto Rico (Territory of)
The USAAF/USAF had divided the country at the Mississippi River, and had P-51 Mustang ANG units in the west, and P-47D/N units in the east. This is why this set only has Thunderbolts, and all are Eastern States.
They are displayed on the Squadron Selection Drop-down window on the Loading Screen, as below:
      37th/48th/49th FS 14FG (1946-48)
      99th/100th/301st FSs 332nd FG (1945-48)
      118th FS, 103rd FG (CT ANG 1946-52)
      142nd FS (DE ANG 1946-54)
      128th FS (GA ANG 1947-51)
      199th FS (HI ANG 1946-54)
      101st FS (MA ANG 1947-51)
      146th FS, 112th FG (PA ANG 1947-51)
      198th FS (PR ANG 1947-55)
Operational dates are rounded to the closest full year. The SF2 'date switch' is =NOT= used on any of these skins, as they overlap each other. End users (tm) will have to make any changes manually on the Loadout Screen for their flightmates.
A new data ini, with vastly improved FM and engine parameters (Now! With WEP!) is included. Some minor adjustments in hit boxes, armor, fuel tanks, etc have been performed. The operational years remain the same, so WW2 PTO users need not worry. Just drop it in. A backup copy of the original data ini is included, as a safety measure. It should be noted, Stary's superb Late WW2 cockpit -HIGHLY reccomended for this bird- is NOT included. If there is enough interest, I can add it to this, and upload an update. Or update the basic WW2 aircraft package.
Other than special squadron markings (color bands and the like) all  markings are decals. Decal randomization is TRUE. Each squadron has 26 serial and 'Buzz number' decals. On the individual aircraft select drop down, for all skins, any marked with a star (*) are been 100% positively identified as having served in that unit. Any not marked should be considered generic in nature as they don't actually represent aircraft from any particular unit, but are late production block P-47Ns. Please see the "Notes" section for information regarding the 332nd & 14th FGs. They are treated as special cases. A reminder -- this package =ONLY= contains American users (USAF & ANG). None of the export customers are included. Nor are any weapons or pilot figures included. You should have them already.
As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. As there exists an eariler version of these skins/decals, you will want to delete them or back them up to a different location entirely =BEFORE= installing these. Also, PLEASE read the "Notes" for further explainitory words on hows and whys.

      Happy Landings!

    19. F8F Bearcat Redrawn Lines, Rivets, etc..

Redrawn Lines, Rivets, etc.. for the Geo's F8F Bearcat.
It can be used for SF1 or SF2.
Add your own paint, dirt, details, decals and weathering...
I can't remember why I made this template (I must have had some extra rivets laying around) as there are already some excellent skins for this plane by Geo, Pappychksix, paulopanz and Wrench and much of this template was based on some of those skins.
This is a WIP-Finish-It-Yourself template and is in Photoshop .psd format at 2048 pixels. It has redrawn lines, rivets and various bits. It can be reduced for those with low spec computers. It's still a bit rough around the edges, but you can smooth out any rough edges to your desires.
      -----------------------------
If you want to make the lines and rivets darker or lighter, this template allows you to do that by adjusting the opacity of the lines, rivets or any layer of this file. You can also 'Click' off any layer you don't wish to use, such as the rivets layer if you don't wish to have any rivets. To use it you must have a paint program that reads/modifies .psd files.
Then you can adjust the specular, glossiness and/or reflection entries in the skin's texture.ini file to get the skin to your liking.
I use the poor mans' method of bump mapping. I don't have the needed software or skills to create real bump maps. I use two template layers: one black the other white. The white layer is below the black layer and offset one pixel up or down and one pixel left or right. Then adjust the opacity of each layer to create a 'shadow' effect. When done right it gives the illusion it's 3D.
      ---------------------------
Credit and Thanks to Geo for this nifty little jet.
I'm releasing this under the Combat Ace Fair Use Agreement. Use it anyway you wish for personal use.  For any other use, please contact me first.
If you find any problems with it, please PM me.  If you improve it, please PM me a copy.
Thanks to all who are helping me learn to skin by direct involvement and/or by inspiration.
If I forget or miss anyone who deserves credit for anything I release, I apologize.  I have no intent to abuse or misuse anyone's property or claim it as my own.  Please contact me to correct any error.

    20. SF2 F-80_T-33_F-94_Redrawn Lines, Rivets, etc...

Redrawn Lines, Rivets, etc.. for ErikGen's F-80/T-33/F-94 SF2 KAW set.
Add your own paint, dirt, details and weathering.
I made these templates so I could make natural metal/aluminum skins for these planes.
      ------------
These templates are more like WIPs. They are a bit rough and can use some improvement. They could use some organizing. I don't think I'll be doing anymore to them, so feel free to improve them in any way you wish.
These templates are Photoshop .psd files at 2048 pixels. They have redrawn lines, rivets and various bits. They can be reduced for those with low spec computers.
Soulfreak has released an excellent Hi-Rez RT-33A template for the 2 seater Shooting Star at 4096 pixels.
      ------------
If you want to make the lines and rivets darker or lighter, this template allows you to do that yourself by adjusting the opacity of the lines, rivets or any layer of this file. You can also 'Click' off any layer you don't wish to use, such as the rivets layer, if you don't wish to have any rivets. To use it you must have a paint program that reads/modifies .psd files.

    21. SF2 P/F-61B Black Widow, 319th F(AW)S Skins Pack Post-WW2

      SF2 P/F-61B Black Widow, 319th F(AW)S Skins Pack       7/2/2019
-For SF2, (Full 5 Merged Reccomended)-
This is a new skin & decal set for Veltro2K's P-61 Black Widow Night/All Weather interceptor.
This skin represents the 318th Fighter (All Weather) Squadron from 1946-1948. They were (originally) based at Mitchell Field (AFB) Long Island, NY, as part of the newly formed Air Defence Command. They and several other night/all weather and day fighter squadrons were responsible for the defence of the northeastern United States. In 1948, they moved to McChord AFB, Washington, transistioned to F-82 Twin Mustangs, and took on Northwest Air Defense duties.
The skin is in jpg format. All markings are decals. 26 new P-61B serial and Buzz numbers were created for this mod. The serials ARE for late production block 61Bs, but should be considered generic in nature as they represent no particular aircraft from any specific unit. Decal randomization is TRUE. Included is a hangar screen for this skin, too! The SF2 'date switch' is used to turn on this skin in 1946.
Also included is a new data and avionics inis. A new more compliant FM has been built, and many engine parameters have been adjusted (NOW! With WEP!!). The avionics ini, given game limitations, should be more in line with the actual workings of the SCR-720 air intercept radar. A backup copy of the data ini is included, for safety's sake. (always back up!!). See "Notes" below for a complete listing, and explainitions.
You must have the original P-61B from either you WW2 installs or a new download from the following URL to apply this skin set to:
      https://combatace.com/files/file/14739-northrop-p-61-black-widow-pack/
Remember, this is a POST-war skin. The data ini has operational dates adjusted (corrected) accordingly.
As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. Might want to give the "Notes & Other Nonsense" section a once over, as well! :)
      Good Hunting!

    22. P-47N-15_Redrawn Lines, Rivets, etc.. by RussoUK2004

Redrawn Lines, Rivets, etc.. for the P-47N-15 Thunderbolt by RussoUK2004.
It can be used for SF1 or SF2.
Add your own paint, dirt, details and weathering.
This template is a Photoshop .psd file at 2048 pixels. It has redrawn lines, rivets and various bits. It can be reduced for those with low spec computers. It was based on RussoUK2004's template.
The only skin with this template is USAF Natural Metal / Aluminum.
If you want to make the lines and rivets darker or lighter, this template allows you to do that yourself by adjusting the opacity of the lines, rivets or any layer of this file.
Credit and Thanks to RussoUK2004 for this classic plane.
