This pak contains Skin/Decal mods for the Stock 3rd Wire C-47A, representing RAF Dakota's in WW2, in the India/Burma (SEAC) theatre. None of my research has turned up an information if they were camoflagued, so the aircraft is in standard OD/Grey.
Supplied are 26 plane-in group letters and RAF serial number decals. The serials, while correct for the Dakota, represent no particular unit and should be considered 'generic' in nature. There are NO squadron codes.
Decal randomization is TRUE
Also supplied is an updated/edited/adjusted C-47A User list, with many corrected dates.
*NOTE: this skin pak is for RAF Daks in SEAC =ONLY=!!! Read: your CBI mods folder.*
This little mod comes about as I'm sick and tired of seeing Dakota's parked on my terrains, with incorrect WW2 theatre markings (while not perfect even WITH this, they're a LOT closer!)
As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please =READ= them BEFORE installing this mod!!!

As requested in MAKO69’s topic (http://combatace.com/topic/82082-a-lot-of-what-if-ideas-for-the-moders/?do=findComment&comment=658905) here are my RNZAF A-7 re-skins.
Fact: When the New Zealand Government selected the A-4K Skyhawk for the RNZAF in the late 60’s/ early 70’s the A-7 Corsair II was on the Air Force’s short list along with the F-4 and F-111. A modernised version of the A-7 was again considered in the late 80’s as an alternative to upgrading the RNZAF Skyhawks.
You will need the stock Third Wire A-7D and A-7E_74 as well as the Mirage Factory A-7D_84 and A-7K_MF
Instillation: As usual simply drop into your mods folder and allow it to override when prompted, none of the aircraft files will be changed just the skins added.

Please note, this pack is set up for the F-104C_66 variant from the DLC pak
(WITH refueling probe) =ONLY=!!!
This pack contains skins/decals for the following units:
435th TFS, 479th TFW, as based at Udorn RTAFB (and attached to 8th TFW)
Post-Vietnam:
198th FIS, Pureto Rico ANG
The PRANG skin has a start date of 1969, and will automaticly switch.
All aircraft are in standard SEA camo finish.
All markings are decals, and decal Randomization is TRUE. 100% historical
serial numbers (all 77, new decals) are included. Nose Art decals are included
for the 435th Skin; the aircraft are 'named' in the numbers.lst. The PRANG
skin, which only uses 26 numbers, are in the later (post-10 years operational)
style.
The inis included are:
Data.ini (operable canopy, Standard Keystroke, Shift/0)
Loadout ini
main ini
Hangar screen (an SF2 revamped version of the 1stGen's F-104G)
Loadout image (bmp)

When installing, just allow the overwrite of the inis. I've fiddled with the
skin listing order, to make them more user friendly. Also included is my
(patent pending) 'One Click Restore Main ini' for when the game engine
rewirtes it.
Also, if you have ANY of the original Ajundair F-104Cs ported over to SF2, you
are ADIVSED to rename ALL the folders (aircraft and decals), back them up or
remove them from your mods folder BEFORE installing this package. There is a
distinct possibility that this mod may merge with them, and really and truely
foul things up!

The pack contains some remods of Daves skins/decals that were originally seen on Anjundair's F-104C. Now that we have a better model (DLC #28), it behooved me to update it.
Please note, this pack is set up for the F-104C_61 variant from the DLC pak (WITH refueling probe). However, with a simple rename of the skin maps, it can be used on the standard or garden Variety F-104C included in DLC 28. It is NOT for use on the F-104C_66. That will be covered in another mod pak See "Notes" for more information on skin renaming.
This pack contains skins/decals for the following units:
479th TFW, George AFB:
434th TFS
435th TFS
436th TFS
476th TFS (all in stateside full-color markings)
and
476th TFS, as seen at Da Nang, RVN in 1964 (called 476_E, with tail TAC Badge)
All aircraft are in 'Natural Metal' finish

A remod skin/decal set for the DLC F-104A, recreates the Starfighter as used by the PAF.
The decals are re-used from my Indo-Pak Mod, that was based on Ajundair's old 1stGen A Zipper. Now, we're using the newest model (you all know how I hate to waste decals.... ).
Included are 98.6% historical serial numbers (albeit 2 are for 104Bs ...) as used by No. 9 Squadron, PAF. Decal randomization is set to TRUE. Also included are several inis with some additions and corrections.

RAF_D (Desert) - standard Day Desert

End users are advised to choose which skin for what WW2 mods folder
they'll be using (Euro for the ETO, and Desert for the MTO, obviously!). Simply
rename the textureset ini for the skins NOT being used, and the Game Engine
will ignore it.

This skin pack is for the TW MiG-23s, I have a full-5 merged installation and Expansion packs 1 and 2, and I don't know which MiG-23s are added in every installation and Expansion pack, so I apologise. But it will work with every MiG-23 (except the MiG-23MS). This pack also includes pits (by ordway) to automatically make the planes flyable.

A-7A & F-8A Fictional 1963 Skins

USAF A-7A Corsair II and F-8A Crusader 'Fictional Circa 1963' Skins for TW A-7A and F-8C AC.
These are separate aircraft that use the ThirdWire SF2 A-7A and F-8C lods and cockpit/avionics and various other files.
This file contains the relevant .ini files to convert them to USAF aircraft Circa 1963. The loadout.ini calls for the AIM-4G. You will have to obtain it from whichever weapons packs here at Combat Ace contains it.
They were built from a SF2 5+2 merged install and use stock decals and other stock references.
They are in .jpg format for SF2.
INSTALLATION: Unzip to a folder/place of your choice. Copy, Move, Drag-n-Drop or do whatever you wish to get the A-7A_AF and F-8A_AF folders into your aircraft folder. Choose the desired skin in the loadout section. Fly.
I'm releasing this under the Combat Ace Fair Use Agreement. Use it anyway you wish for personal use. For any other use, please contact me first.

F-29A Razgriz

The Razgriz Air Command Squadron was the alias adopted by the survivors of the 108th Tactical Fighter Squadron "Wardog" in the late stages of the Circum-Pacific War. They used all-black jets with the Razgriz logo on the vertical stabilizers and red coloring on the tip of them. This skin has Blaze's number.

Dels' F-29A Wardog skin
The 108th Tactical Fighter Squadron, nicknamed Wardog, is the main squadron the player is assigned to in Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War. It was initially a squadron composed primarily of trainees, led by Capt. Jack Bartlett (callsign Heartbreak One), and two other veteran combat pilots. They were engaged off the coast of Sand Island and all the pilots were killed, except for Capt. Bartlett, trainee pilot 2nd Lt. Kei Nagase (callsign Edge), and those on the ground. After this incident, she was moved up to the # 2 position because of her wild flying style. The rest of their flight consisted of the two trainees who had been on the ground during the fight, 2nd Lt. Alvin H Davenport (callsign Chopper) and 2nd Lt. "Blaze". This skin has Blaze's number.

The first skin was painted using ThirdWire's SF1 F-15A template that used SF1 'fuzzy' skins as a base
It is in .jpg format for SF2 but should work in SF1 if converted to .bmp.
INSTALLATION: Unzip to a folder/place of your choice. Copy, Move, Drag-n-Drop or do whatever you wish to get the skin folder into your SF2 Israel F-15A_BAZ folders. Overwrite older files if asked. Choose the IDF Camo skin in the loadout section. Fly.

**Note x2: this mod is designed for use =ONLY= in a WW2 CBI-Centric mods
folder. Some Theatre specific changes have been effected, and should =ONLY= be
used in the CBI!!!**
This is =NOT= the full aircraft; you'll be adding all this stuff to the
original (ok, Ver.4). It's available at the following URL:

Some mods, tweeks, and 2 new skin/decal sets for Raven's Hurricane IIC Trop, as
seen in India and Burma during WW2.
Included are 2 skins for:
No. 135 Squadron, RAF
No. 2 Squadron "Winged Arrows", Royal Indian Air Force (RIAF)
The squadron patch will be seen as the paint chip for each skin on the Loadout
screen.
Neither unit carried Squadron codes, and both make use of a pool of plane-in-
group letters and serial numbers. The serials should be considered 'generic' in
nature, as they represent no particular aircraft with these units, but ARE
correct for the variant depicted.
Skins remain in their bmp format, and as both units were painted alike, resides
in the MAIN aircraft folder. This will NOT interfere with other skins you may
have, residing in their individual folders
Several new inis are included;

Data (with some small tweeks)
Loadout (again, with small tweeks)
A new-ish, SF2 version of the original uploads 44 gal drop tank (with pylon),
creates a new, seperate version of this weapon. It will NOT conflict with any
others, and is designed for use on THIS aircraft. No other weapons or guns are
indluded; you should have them already.
The AvHistory Merlin engine sound is included, as is a new SF2 style hangar
screen.
Canopy Opens/Closes via the Standard Animation Keystroke , Shift/0.
All markings are decals, and Decal Randomization is TRUE.
The skins have been run through the template (thank you Raven for that!), and
have had a layer of dirt and 'clouds' added for weathering.
As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are
included. PLEASE read them!!

F-8E Crusader 'What-If' USAF SEA Skin

'What-If' USAF F-8E Crusader SEA Skin for SF2.
This skin is for the ThirdWire F-8E Crusader from SF2 Vietnam or any or all SF2 games with an F-8E.
It is modded for the USAF. It is a stand alone F-8E_AF aircraft. The relevant .ini files are included.
It uses decals from the SF2 Vietnam A-7D.
It is in .jpg format.
It may fit other SF2 Crusader models but it was not tested on any other F-8s.
It may work in SF1 if converted to .bmp and re-decaled with SF1 decals. This also was not tested.
INSTALLATION: Unzip to a folder/place of your choice. Copy, Move, Drag-n-Drop or do whatever you wish to get the F-8E folder into Aircraft folders. Choose the desired skin in the loadout section. Fly.
I'm releasing this under the Combat Ace Fair Use Agreement. Use it anyway you wish for personal use. For any other use, please contact me first.
