SF2:E F-86A Sabre, USAFE, Pack
By Wrench
SF2:E F-86A Sabre, USAFE, Pack 2/11/16
-- For SF-2E, FULL-5 merged, Reccomended --
This mod is a full aircraft package, containing the F-86A Sabre as used by the USAFE during the early-to mid 1950s. This pack contains only those aircraft as used in Europe.
Like the KAW Sabre pak (albeit this containing only 1 airplane), all needed bits (Effects, Sounds, Pilot, etc) are included.
Again, as a reminder, this is a European-centric aircraft package only (SF2:E)!!
In this package are F-86A Sabres from the 81st FIW, USAFE, as based in the UK ...
116th FIS
91st FIS
92nd FIS
Almost all markings are decals, with the exceptions of the tail fin color bands. A "fake SqTail" decal is included and will activate the Squadron Displayed Name on the Loadout Screen for those units listed in the game's SquadronList.ini (91st & 92nd). The 116th is not, but if you wish to add it, feel free to do so. Decal randomization is TRUE. All skins are in jpg format. 24 Serials and Buzz Numbers are included for all 3 skins, and are accuate for A Model Sabres, but just not for the squadrons represented. Consider them 'generic' for this purpose. The Hangar & Loading screen remain their "KAW" versions.
The Data and Loadout ini have been tweeked as per the recently released F-86F-40 USAFE pak, and Ground Attack (CAS, Strike) mission tasking has been activated. Operational service dates remain the same, even though the F-86A did not arrive in the UK before 1951.
REMINDER -- the mission tasking and loadouts are =ONLY= for use by American Sabres (this version) as used in the SF2:E mods folder!!! Don't use it anywhere else! See "Notes" for more information, if wishing to use the modified data ini in your KAW mods folder.
As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them! Also, as this mod pack is specificly designed for an SF2:E (Europe) install, PLEASE read the "Notes" section for important information.
It is HIGHLY ADVISED you read this document through, after unzipping, but BEFORE installing to you game.
Just so we're clear on everything, this is for use in Europe (SF2:E) ONLY!!!
Happy Landings!

C-135F Tanker variant for France similar to the KC-135A but did not use the K prefix, 12 built.
C-135FR Eleven French C-135F tanker aircraft modified with four CFM56 engines.
As we have a lot of amazing French planes up to great Mirage IV, I think that a tanker (...) could be useful.
So here you will find the whole Groupe de Ravitaillement en Vol C-135 fleet from the very beginning.

SF2 C-119 Flying Boxcar, Korean War Era and Later (by MontyCZ)
By Wrench
SF2 C-119 Flying Boxcar, Korean War Era and Later
= For SF2, (Any/All) =
Some small modification/reskins/redecalling for MontyCZ's (not-so) little C-119 Flying
Boxcar transport aircraft. I found it easier to upload this as a complete aircraft; this
way, End Users can locate, download and install any other skins that are available for
the aircraft easier.
This pak includes 5 skins;
50th Troop Carrier Squadron, Korean Era
63rd TCS
64th TCS, Korea Era
97th TCS, circa 1961 ( "USAF" grey/white anti-heat)
USMC, NAS Seattle (no unit)
The 3 KAW era squadrons use a 'pool' of 25 generic serial/Buzz Number decals shared amongst
them. I say generic, as they represent C-119B/C models from the 1948-55 FY time frame, but
with so little data available, it's almost impossible to run down "what went with whom".
The 97th skin, while representing the C-119G model (slight physical differences), are G
model serials; again considered 'generic' in nature.
Almost all markings are decals (excepting the "United States Air Force" and "Troop Carrier"
on the fuselages of the 63/64 skins. Decal Randomization is set to TRUE. All skins are in
bmp format, making them usable in all versions, including 1stGen SF/Wo*.
A new "UserList.ini" was created, and included for SF2 usage.
As always, fairly easy to follow install instructions are included. So, please read them.
Also, give the "Notes" section a read too; it contains the 'ChangeLog', and credits as to
'who did what to whom' kinda thing! Monty's original Readme is also enclosed.
Happy Landings!

NF-5A_RNLAF_Ver1.0.7z
By sophocles
July 2021
===============
Royal Netherlands Air Force NF-5A Freedom Fighter Volume II VERSION 1.0
------------------------------------------------------------
We are proud to present the NF-5A RNLAF, the Canadair variant of the Northrop F-5a, one of the most enduring American military aircraft designs ever produced during the Cold War period. The Canadair NF-5A was essentially similar to the Canadian AF CF-5 but introduced several modifications, the most important being the more powerful J-85Can-15 engines, Doppler radar navigation system, arrestor hook, two large split air intake doors aft of the main wing trailing edge on both sides of the fuselage to provide extra air to the engines (later also used for F-5E type), and provision to carry the larger 275 gallon under-wing fuel tanks. The aircraft also featured maneuvering leading edge flaps, a strengthened windscreen, and was the only F-5a to operate a two position nose gear.
It has been our goal to provide to the simmer a highly detailed model and texture base which preserve the beautiful lines of this aircraft; and to engineer flight model files and a cockpit/gauge file-set that are authentic and add to the immersion of the flying experience within the Strike Fighters 2 series.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
--------------------------
1. Copy the contents of the "To Mods Folder(s)" to your SF2 Mod directory.
Allow directory merging and overwrites, provided the overwrites pertain to "fake pilot" entries, as well as weapons made by ravenclaw_007, which are included in this and many other releases.
2. Add the entries of "ADD_TO_SOUNDLIST.txt" to your SOUNDLIST.INI (located in the "user\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2\Flight" folder). If one does not exist, then you will need to extract it using the 3rdWire CAT extract utility. You are simply required to substitute the "XXX"s with the next sequential number in the sound file section of the file.
NOTE 1:
------------
Both Regular and Higher resolution cockpit textures are included in their own distinct folders in the package.
The user may alternate between the two by "commenting out"
the relevant line in the NF-5A_COCKPIT.INI
[CockpitData]
Directory=cockpit <---This is the default
//Directory=cockpit_Lo-Fi
In order to "activate" the higher resolution textures
you would decomment the previous line and comment out
the next line, thus:
[CockpitData]
//Directory=cockpit
Directory=cockpit_Lo-Fi <---This is now Low-Res
NOTE 2:
------------
Another frame-rate friendly option for those with older hardware is to use the Next level of Detail Model as the primary external model. This simply involves changing the first line in the F-5A_HAF.ini from this..
[LOD001]
Filename=NF-5a.LOD
to this..
[LOD001]
Filename=NF-5a_002.LOD
Much effort was made to provide those with lower end systems an alternative lower poly-model to be able to enjoy the F-5a, so please take advantage of this _002.LOD model should you experience frame-rate issues. While not as "rounded" as the Higher poly version, it is nonetheless just as detailed and extensive.
NOTE 3:
------------
For those who may find loading times excessive, the .jpg files in the texture folders can be reduced to 50% of their size without sacrificing too much surface detail.
Keys:

SHIFT+0 -> canopy open
-/= (Default thrust vector Keys) -> elevator trim

FEATURES:
* A highly detailed external 3d model, including all features specific to the NF-5A including "F-5E" type Nose gear, animated auxiliary engine doors, arrestor hook, underside air intakes for the more powerful engines, external chaff and flare dispensers, and 275 gallon external wing tanks.
* Specular color and Normal (bump) maps.
* Seven Level of Detail models (LODs), providing an almost seamless transition from distance to distance; and perhaps more importantly, ensuring that the frame-rate "impact" of the aircraft is as low as possible.
* Two sets of highly detailed external Fuel Tanks by ravenclaw_007; both the 150 gallon Factory tanks and the 275 gallon variants; the NF-5A being the only F-5a variant to carry them.
*Functioning AN/ALE-40 Chaff and Flare dispensers exclusive to the RNLAF NF-5A
* Extensively fine-tuned flight parameters in the aircraft data configuration files, emphasizing the NF-5A's agile and highly maneuverable characteristics - courtesy of Baffmeister.
* Functioning maneuvering flaps deployable up to 450 knots, which allow for tighter sustained turns .. also credited to Baffmeister.
* 5 high resolution texture sets; thoroughly researched historic depictions of the Aircraft fielded by many RNLAF Squadrons.
* Quality sound-set included. Base sounds, by Guuruu, were sourced from existing recordings of various aircraft at air-shows and were modified to match the prominent characteristics of the F-5A General Electric turbojets, the "buzz" of the M39 Pontiac 20mm machinegun, and the flap/Air-brake, undercarriage deployment and retraction sequences of the Freedom Fighter.
* Super detailed dedicated NF-5A 'Virtual Cockpit' with animated throttle control, rudder pedals, control stick, landing gear lever, canopy, canopy lever, drag-chute lever, weapons selectors and weapon station arming flick switches, ..and more.
*Accurate and functional representation of the Saab RGS2 lead computing gun sight, with accurate aiming mark (Mechanics by Crusader and Logan4).
* A full complement of highly (or should I say "insanely" detailed weapons carried by the RNLAF NF-5A, all by ravenclaw_007.
* Comprehensive RNLAF Loadouts representing the weapons carriage evolution of the NF-5A in Dutch service from 1972 to the 1991 by ravenclaw_007.
* Complex animation of canopy opening mechanism, and animated Turbine blades; both thanks to ravenclaw_007.
* GKAB's superb highly detailed crew figure with authentically modeled oxygen mask and flight helmet.
* All new afterburner, emitter, and engine smoke effects by Guuruu.
* Saab RGS2 lead computing gun sight with both Air to Air and Air to Ground modes.
* Functioning elevator trim controls and gauge, using the Thrust Vector Controls; courtesy of Cliff7600.

PILOT NOTES
-----------
NF-5A Limit and Reference Speeds. [Indicated Airspeeds]
FLAPS (FULL DEFLECTION): 300kts for both leading and trailing edge.
FLAPS (MANOUEVERING): 450kts for both leading and trailing edge
NOTE: The F-5A uses full flaps for take off but due to a game bug you must manually select full flaps for take off when player flown. The AI will use full flaps although you can hear the flap sound cycling between flap 1 and flap 2.
LANDING GEAR: 240kts
DRAG CHUTE: 165kts
CANOPY: 50kts
NOSE WHEEL STEERING: 65kts
MAXIMUM INDICATED AIRSPEED: 710kts [redline]
MAXIMUM MACH: 1.72 Mach design limit but thrust/drag limited to about mach 1.50 in a 60deg dive from 50,000ft.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
TAKE OFF ROTATION SPEEDS
13500lbs: 155kts [full internal fuel and two sidewinders]
20500lbs: 195kts [about the maximum weight possible with included stores]
NOTE: Use full flaps for take off! Adding 6kts for every 1000lbs above 13500lbs should give good aft stick/rotation speeds.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
CLIMB SPEEDS
Military Power
13500lbs: 375kts with a transition to mach 0.89
20500lbs: 310kts with a transition to mach 0.74
Maximum Power
13500lbs: 595kts with a transition to mach 0.93
20500lbs: 480kts with a transition to mach 0.85
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
FINAL APPROACH SPEEDS
With 500lbs fuel remaining and some empty racks use 160kts. Add 5kts for every additional 500lbs of fuel.
NOTE: Target touch down speed is 20kts less than final approach speed.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
RGS2 Gunsight
--------------------------------------------------------
We have simulated the two main modes of the sight, one for Air to Ground, and one for Air to Air. The Air to Ground reticle assumes 3 different levels of depression according to the air to ground ordnance selected; bombs, rockets or guns. Due to game limitations, the Air to Air aiming mark is set up for lead computing of a target at 213meters (or 700 feet).
We have included another gun sight option, whereby lead is calculated for targets all the way out to 4000ft. This has involved adding a ranging radar (which the NF-5A didn't have) but this solution allows lead computing for targets further out than 700 feet - something the RGS2 was capable of.
The radar ranging option is the default but the user can copy the files from the "Standard" subfolder of the Avionics_Alt folder (located in the Aircraft folder) and switch out the ini files. If you're unhappy with either of the two options you can simply copy paste the files from the folder you prefer.

McDonnell F3H-2N Demon Ultimate for SF2
This is the first of four projects I have been working on for the last 6 months. It will be followed shortly by Ultimate Packages for the F3H-2M and F3H-2 variants, along with a F7U Cutlass Ultimate Package.
The F3H-2N was the first of three Demon variants developed in parallel with each other. It was meant to be an all-weather fighter for fleet use.
Armament consisted of four 20mm cannon and 4 pods of 2.75inch FFAR's. Later the rockets were dropped in favor of the new Sidewinder missile which had just become available. Sparrow capability was added later in its life when most 2N's were upgraded to F3H-2 models.
Being underpowered was its major flaw. The original Westinghouse J-40 never materialized and the J-71 was fitted instead. Pilots called the Demon the "Lead Sled" or just "Sled".
This is a major rework of the existing F3H-2M demon file into the 3 variants. Almost everything has been tweeked to make it more accurate in appearance and performance. The skins have been painstakingly researched and re-created. Every squadron which flew
the Demon is represented here including changes in their scheme over time. The flight model has been adjusted to fly like the Demon and give you performance worthy of its nickname. The four cannons are present along with the FFAR's and early Sidewinders. There are new Hangar and Loading Screens as well.

A-4L Skyhawk by Crab_02 & Column5
By Wrench
A-4L Skyhawk, VC-13 "Fighting Saints" Skin/Decal Pak
= For SF2 (Full-4 Merged Prefered) and/or SF2:V =
*Can be used in any install that has access to the A-4C_65, which is stock in all merged installs, excepting a stand-alone SF2:I. However, it does use the A-4E_67 Cockpit and Avionics ini, which is only availabe in SF2:V. Hence, the 'Full-4 Merged' tag is applicable*
Complete overhaul of the A-4L Skyhawk as originally released in 2004 by Crab02 and Column5. For historical purposes, their original readme is included.
This mod makes use of all stock, "in-game" items, excepting for the avionics hump.
All inis have been updated to the latest patch level (August, 2011); the loadout ini has some minor changes for a couple of mission profiles. The data ini has had the landing light added, and (of course!) the canopy activated, via manual animation. Use shift/0 to open and close it.
All 'standard' Skyhawk mission profiles are retained.
The avionics hump has been converted to a 'pilot seat' using the fake pilot method (the FakePilot is also supplied, just in case). The mid fuselage upper light position has been adjusted to match that on the hump.
A new SF2 style hangar screen jpg is also included
Decal randomization has been set to "TRUE", so be at least at whichever patch level gave this to us.
As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them ....
Happy Landings!

IMPORTANT NOTE:
If you have the DLC A-4L from Third Wire, do NOT download this mod. It will cause major conflicts. They should not be mixed in any way!!!

Avia S 92 Turbina
By Veltro2k
All jigs, tools and components for the Messerschmitt Me 262 jet fighter in Czechoslovakia at the time of the German surrender were seized by the Soviet forces and then handed over to the newly restored Czechoslovak government by Marshal Ivan Konev. Forward fuselages and other components of the Me 262 had been manufactured at Letnany, some components had been produced in converted railway tunnels, and the CKD and Walter works had built the Junkers Jumo 004 turbojet, assembly of the fighters having been undertaken at Cheb, near the German border. Sufficient components were recovered for Avia to build 17 single- and two-seat Me 262s, the first single-seater flying as the S 92.1 on 27 August 1946. Dubbed the Turbina (Turbine).

B-57B Canberra Tweeks Pak -for SF2-
By Wrench
B-57B Canberra Tweeks Pak
= For SF2, Any and All =
* Note: Full-4 Merged reccomended, but can be used in any game with access to the STOCK B-57B *
Some ini mods for the stock B-57B that add a usable cockpit (albeit not perfect!,but VERY usable), new avioncs ini, and adds the Nuclear Delivery Capability they had from inception.
Note: the various Mk.7 series nukes and nuke effects are NOT included -- they're from one of the lindr2 weapons paks. For those wishing the physical models for the Mk 7s, they're in my original F-84F Update Pak available at the following link:
http://combatace.com/files/file/11430-f-84f-thunderstreak-skin-inis-upgrade-pak/
However, as stated above, the effects are NOT with them.
An extra main ini, called "xB-57B.ini" is supplied so after patching, or DLC installation, a simple 'One click Operation' will return this aircraft to Player-Usable status. Instruction on how-to are in the "To Install" section below.
Data ini tweeks 're-aim' the guns to fire through the gunsight, add ECM and CM dispensers (chaff ONLY!). Now, if I could only figure out the proper LABS 'bomb toss' that don't fall a bit short ... or long ... (lol!). The Loadout ini, for mission builders, has a "Strike_Nuke" callout. However, the weapons ARE selectable on the games loadoutscreen as well, after removing any other bombs from the bombbay.
No Hangar or Loading screens are included, cause I just plane forgot...maybe later!
As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. Please read them!

Mirage IIIO ROSE PAF
Mirage IIIO ROSE PAF
Install - Need Update July 2012 and DLC Mirage IIIO
33 of the ex-Australian Dassault Mirage IIIO/D aircraft of the PAF were modified to ROSE I standard. The cockpit was modernised with a new head-up display (HUD), "hands on throttle and stick" (HOTAS) controls and new multi-function displays (MFD). New navigation systems, including an inertial navigation system and GPS system, were also installed. Defensive systems upgrades consisted of a new radar warning receiver (RWR), electronic countermeasures (ECM) suite and counter-measure dispensing system, dispensing decoy flares and chaff to confuse enemy missiles and radar.
In 1991, the PAF bought 50 Australian Mirage IIIO/D, 45 of which were refurbished and put into PAF service. The FIAR Grifo M3 radar was then to be fitted to 33 of the Mirage IIIEA/DA fighters which were procured from Australia, following on from the earlier ROSE avionics upgrade integrated by Sagem. It was stated that ROSE I fighters could easily be in service beyond 2010. In early 1999 it was stated that problems in "certain parameters - and errors in certain modes" had surfaced during flight trials of the Grifo M radar in the Mirage III, but these were later solved.
45 of the 50 Dassault Mirage III fighters received from Australia were found to be suitable for service with the PAF, 12 of them were overhauled at PAC and made operational. After being inspected, the remaining 33 were selected for upgrade under Project ROSE. In June 1998 the cockpit upgrades for the 33 Mirage III fighters was completed, including installation of multi-function displays (MFD), head-up display (HUD), HOTAS controls, radar altimeter and a Sagem nav/attack system. The Grifo M multi-mode radar was installed later in a second phase of the upgrade project.
The integration of a new Italian fire-control radar, the FIAR (now SELEX Galileo) Grifo M3, gave Mirage III ROSE I fighters the ability to fire advanced beyond visual range (BVR) radar guided air-to-air missiles. PAF's standard short range air-to-air missile at the time, the AIM-9L Sidewinder, was integrated with the Grifo M3 radar.

SF2 AD-4N (Late) Skyraider, 1950s USN
By Wrench
SF2 AD-4N (Late) Skyraider, 1950s USN 4/12/2015
= For SF2 (Any & All, Full- Merged Prefered) =
*Note: must have SF2:V as part of your merged install to access the A-1H lod used herein. This, like several of the KAW Skyraiders with the "_3W suffix, is based off the stock A-1H lod.*
Something slightly different, for USN Skyraider squadrons in the mid-1950s. I basiclly did this as I got tired of seeing DGNB AD-4Ns parking on deck intermixed with Grey/White jets and such (even though that IS historically correct). But, some early models DID survive the switch, and operated in the Gull Grey/White. This is one of them...
The skin herein represents:
VA-216 "Black Diamonds" aboard USS Yorktown (CVA-10) circa 1956/57
The skin is in jpg format. All markings, excepting the tail Black Diamonds, are decals. Decal randomization is TRUE.The BuNums, while correct for this model, are not specific to any squadron, and should be considerd 'generic' in nature.
Wingfold and canopy are controled via the Standard Animiation Keystrokes . Shift/9 for the wings, and Shift/0 for the window.
All weapons used are stock in-game items, excepting the APS-31 radar pod and ALT-7 ECM pod.
I'm trying out a different "style" for the Hangar screen; I hope you like it.
On the Aircraft selection drop down, you'll see
AD-4N Skyraider (Late) (3W)
This will differentiate it from the -4NL and other -4 marks. The "3W" indicates use of the stock 3W lod.
As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them ....

SF2 KAW Era AD-4NL Skyraider (by MontyCZ)
By Wrench
SF2 Korean War Era AD-4NL Skyraider (by MontyCZ)
= For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =
This is an SF2/SF2NA upgraded version of my previously released AD-4NL Skyraider. It is designed to replace all my older versions for use in the SF2 environment.
This mod represents AD-4NL's from VC-35 "Night Hecklers". The squadron was deployed in various "Dets" of 2-4 aircraft aboard almost all USN Carriers during Korea.
The aircraft is fully carrier-capable, with all the SF2NA coding for deck 'parking'.
Skins are still in bmp format, I didn't bother converting them to jpg. Most markings are decals and Modex/BuNums are Randomized. BuNums are accurate for the aircraft variant depicted, but not for the actual ones used by this squadron, as I couldn't run them down; consider them 'generic' for this purpose.
All the necessary weapons, effects, sounds and etc are included, as is the NEW Skyraider cockpit by Dels.
Standard Animations keystrokes are used for the canopy (Shift/0) and wingfold (shift/9)
As always, fairly easy to follow, highly detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too. There is important information on Night Operations (what VC-35 specalized in)
You may consider this 'Ver.3' of the AD-4NL.
Good Hunting!

SF2 Korean War Era F-86F GunVal Sabre Pak UPDATE
By Crusader
UPDATE
for
http://combatace.com...nval-sabre-pak/
Small adjustments:
- ammo capacity increased to 115 rpg
- new T-160 gun with correct muzzle velocity and ROF of 1500 rpm and no entry for tracer tga *
- shell ejection set to TRUE (only the links were retained inside)
- aircraft weight increased by 76 kg
- Cockpit fixes:
+ CGCockpitOffset=TRUE added
+ cockpit POV height offset set to 0
+ cockpit height position synchronized with pilot height position
* M39 cannon V0 and ROF are different . There was no 20-mm tracer ammo in Korea (only had API, HEI and a
practice round)
but they tipped API rounds into beeswax which gave a smoke trail when fired - wasnt perfect since the
smoke trail was short ranged.
Removing the tracer tga entry from the gun makes it a easy lookalike effect.
Have fun

Mirage Factory F-4K/M RAF/RN SF2 Series Pack 2
By Sundowner
Mirage Factory F-4K/M RN/RAF for the SF2 series.
First and foremost lets just spend a moment remembering who made these things possible.........Olivier ANGUILLE (BPAo)....rip my friend.
Ok this is pack 2 of 3, it comprises new aircraft models and skins but you still need pack 1 installed to get the decals, sounds etc, but it does use the stock F-4M cockpits so you will need SF2 Europe installed, I have the combo pack so they've only been tested on that...patched to Feb 2010.
Installation instructions are in the readme, its there for your benifit not mine so be sure to read it.
Many thanks.
Sundowner.

Mirage IIIC (SEPR)
Mirage IIIC (SEPR)
The new fighter design was named the Mirage III. It incorporated the new area ruling concept, where changes to the cross section of an aircraft were made as gradual as possible, resulting in the famous "wasp waist" configuration of many supersonic fighters. Like the Mirage I, the Mirage III had provision for a SEPR rocket engine.
The prototype Mirage III flew on 17 November 1956, and attained a speed of Mach 1.52 on its 10th flight. The prototype was then fitted with manually operated intake half-cone shock diffusers, known as souris ("mice"), which were moved forward as speed increased to reduce inlet turbulence. The Mirage III attained a speed of Mach 1.8 in September 1957.
The success of the Mirage III prototype resulted in an order for 10 pre-production Mirage IIIA fighters. These were almost two meters longer than the Mirage III prototype, had a wing with 17.3% more area, a chord reduced to 4.5%, and an Atar 09B turbojet with afterburning thrust of 58.9 kN (13,230 lbf). The SEPR rocket engine was retained, and the aircraft were fitted with Thomson-CSF Cyrano Ibis air intercept radar, operational avionics, and a drag chute to shorten landing roll

Mirage IIIB
Mirage IIIB
The Armée de l'Air also ordered a two-seat Mirage IIIB operational trainer, which first flew in October 1959. The fuselage was stretched about a meter (3 ft 3.5 in) and both cannons were removed to accommodate the second seat. The IIIB had no radar, and provision for the SEPR rocket was deleted, although it could carry external stores. The AdA ordered 63 Mirage IIIBs (including the prototype), including five Mirage IIIB-1 trials aircraft, ten Mirage IIIB-2(RV) inflight refueling trainers with dummy nose probes, used for training Mirage IVA bomber pilots, and 20 Mirage IIIBEs, with the engine and some other features of the multi-role Mirage IIIE. One Mirage IIIB was fitted with a fly-by-wire flight control system in the mid-1970s and redesignated 'Mirage IIIB-SV (Stabilité Variable); this aircraft was used as a testbed for the system in the later Mirage 2000.

Foreign Sabres Pack
By GwynO
17th July 2009 SF2 version updates by knx, all props go to original creators as listed below dotted line.
Install instructions, drag and drop Objects folder into your mod folder.
Here's the original readme, not all of the contents are included here as the pack seems to have been broken down into smaller packs, more on the way soon:
.........................................................................................................................................................................................................................
F-86 Sabre /MiG-15 README:
First of all I would like to think “USAFMTL” for allowing me to be a part of this effort.
Secondly thanks go to David Zurawski for his wonderful F-86 Sabre that is such a work of art.
Thirdly thank you to all that have modeled and skined the work to developed individual sub-models of the F-86.
Thanks to Jimmy Bib for all his graphical engineering.
Lastly thank you to “Fubar 512" for his expert guidance in my effort in Flight Modeling.
If ever the was an aircraft the looked, felt, smelt, and tasted like a fighter aircraft ; it’s the F-86 Sabre!
And being an actual jet rated pilot, with a little over 1,200 actual flight hours, compelled me to tweak , my “Sweet Sabre”.
Being my all time favorite aircraft and being an avid history nut about the Korean Conflict compelled me in an effort to add to these works that so many started.
First of all. All data contained in the data.ini files was deeply researched by “USAFMTL” and myself.
Only minor tweaks where utilized, building on the work of those that created the aircraft models.
All aircraft preform to Dash 1 specifications to the degree of 99.9%.
All aircraft where thoroughly tested by hundreds hours of actual, not autopilot, testing.
The yank and bank style of A.C.M. with this aircraft is gone.
Key points are :
1) Keeping a high energy fight.
2) Thinking well ahead of what the aircraft is, or what you want it to do.
3) The required use of the speed brakes to alter or set up YOUR fight or flight, in reference to turning radius. Not just chopping the throttle, that is a only a good way to die.
4) And for the self proclaimed, “Fighter Aces”, fly these models on the HARD setting, to truly test your skill.
5) All F-86 and MiG-15 are uniform in performance. The aircraft preform as did the actual models of this noble era.
6) The addition of armor to all aircraft end the ,“QUICK KILL”. These can be altered still to fit ones preference.
